Hi,
Header style 3 comes with an ad bellow the menu and above the content. But that’s the header ad, if you want to add a custom one you have to edit the template files.
In your case try to add it inside single.php like this: – http://screencast.com/t/7cX1Dh7b9
echo td_page_generator::wrap_start();
echo td_global_blocks::get_instance('td_ad_box')->render(array('spot_id' => 'custom_ad_1'));
echo td_page_generator::wrap_end();
Thank you, Emil G.

Thank you for the very fast response. The front page code worked wonderfully.
The page code left a lot of white space under the featured image and before the post body: http://i61.tinypic.com/9r7r49.jpg
.single .template6-header { top: 500px; } .single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap, .page.single_template_6 .td-header-wrap { height: 500px!important; } .single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .backstretch{ height: 500px!important; } .single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .td-backstretch{ height: 500px!important; } .single #td-full-screen-header-image{ min-height: 500px; } .single_template_6 .td-header-wrap { height: 500px; }
Hi,
Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css for homepage post block: http://screencast.com/t/5OjyBw3n7cQP
.page .template6-header {
top: 900px;
}
.page .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap, .page.single_template_6 .td-header-wrap {
height: 1000px !important;
}
.page .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .backstretch{
height: 1000px!important;
}
.page .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .td-backstretch{
height: 1000px!important;
}
.page #td-full-screen-header-image{
min-height: 1000px;
}
Also for post template 6:
.single .template6-header {
top: 900px;
}
.single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap, .page.single_template_6 .td-header-wrap {
height: 1000px !important;
}
.single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .backstretch{
height: 1000px!important;
}
.single .td-full-screen-header-image-wrap .td-backstretch{
height: 1000px!important;
}
.single #td-full-screen-header-image{
min-height: 1000px;
}
.single_template_6 .td-header-wrap {
height: 1000px;
}
Hope this helps!
Hi,
Please remove this code so the parent category wont show up on post page: http://screencast.com/t/yBPdB4YsTr
The image for homepage post block(post template 6) use javascript and you will need custom work for this and it is not an easy task to add link like on the title. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work for the moment because we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. Sorry for inconvenience!
Thanks!
Hi,
You can try to edit your archive template and use short-codes and the do_shortcode function to add blocks built and customized using VC page builder.
You can find more info abut how you can add content using the do_shortcode function here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-questions/#post-29762
If you don’t know how to do it I suggest you get someone to help you with this as we cannot do custom modification at the moment.
Thanks
I was wondering if I could stop template 6 (big post) from showing the parent category. I’m trying to only get it to show the actual category it’s in, just like in the modules.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0854l4koac
Also when its used on the homepage the link is clickable.. would it be possible to make the image clickable as well?
cheers
Hi,
1. I’m not sure I understand, but if you don’t want full width for your featured video please use another post template to display: http://screencast.com/t/5wfmWqhup
Result: http://screencast.com/t/JsS28ZRdVwWv
2. If you want to enable unique articles on your page please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles-and-offset-newspaper/
When you have the unique articles feature enabled you will get posts just once on your page.
Please provide more details if this doesn’t solve your issues.
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no block made by module 7 so you can use with Visual Composer: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-7-category/ But you can set to display Latest Articles on your frontpage(blog): http://screencast.com/t/vqw4rV203f4 and choose module 7 to display articles from Theme Panel > Template Settings: http://screencast.com/t/2nLdGWM3yJfy
Result: http://screencast.com/t/EnwTdPRJ
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Please try to edit header style that you use and add this condition to the header ad: http://screencast.com/t/eABgrML2
<?php
if(!is_front_page()) {
locate_template('parts/header/ads.php', true);
}?>
Result: http://screencast.com/t/kB9mDqiI – http://screencast.com/t/HKBoPUxgBI
Thanks!

Also, another question (sorry, I’m quite new to this..), I’ve selected a template for my homepage with two columns of articles with featured images next to eachother. This seemed to work just fine before. All of a sudden now there’s only one column of articles underneath eachother, which looks nowhere near as good. I’ve tried to change the template and set it back again, but it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong? My website is wwww.anamsterdamlocal.com..
Many thanks!
For those who want to set a custom time stamp under post titles, on post pages and in modules (it’s all or nothing unless you want to hack templates):
This fix survives theme updates as it’s a WordPress setting – not a theme setting.

Hi,
Unfortunately you cannot add elements with Visual Composer plugin on category pages, but if you want to add a slider for example you can edit the template category.php and add your code: http://screencast.com/t/h0fXTf4U
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately as you know you can use page builder on category pages therefore you can’t add blocks on it.
You can try to achieve this using the do_shortcode function and built and customize the block you want via VC page builder then using the shortcode function add it to your category page template after the loop.
You can find more info abut how you can add content using the do_shortcode function here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-questions/#post-29762
Thanks
Hi,
You could try to use short-codes and render ad codes from one of your panel ad spots, you can use do short-codes function to add it on your template, use this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-an-adsense-code-below-of-the-latest-articles-in-homepage/#post-33395
I suggest you also address this question to plugin’s authors or search for a solution online.
Thanks
Hi,
The simplest way is to delete featured image code for post template that you want to use: http://screencast.com/t/Snll67aY7fO so you will not have featured image on post page.
Thanks!
Hi there!
Good template! Congrats!
There is my issue:

Moment 1: Before you click
http://www.screencast.com/t/46CT6Wt4k9
But when you click on the option its goes fine, until the new page is displayed.

Hi there!
Hi there!
ISSUE
I’m having trouble with the logo for mobile in this site: http://marionegri.com.ar
But when I browse the page through my phone the template shows the header (not mobile) logo but in a tiny version
SITUATION
1 – I’ve defined this image (300 x 100) for LOGO AS DEFAULT: http://marionegri.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/cabecera-mario-negri.fw_.png
2 – I’ve defined this image as the mobile logo: http://marionegri.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/logomovil.jpg
3 – Menu is set to Style 3
Thanks for you patience
Regards
Gustavo
Try copying the post views code from one of the post page templates into your module template.
Hi,
I have checked this with latest theme version and it is work like I said it increment on custom fields only if post views is enabled. But if you don’t want to show it on post page it can be commented in post templates: http://screencast.com/t/tee9JtPk7eQM or hide it with css code in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/5eLeRTzhV
.entry-comments-views{
display: none !important;
}
Hope this helps!
Hi,
For blog template you can change the articles display view from Theme Panel > Template Settins: http://screencast.com/t/eUb18nSluq
Result: http://screencast.com/t/bKfKUmjXKG0
If you use “Pagebuilder + Latest posts” template you can change the module to display articles: http://screencast.com/t/PlqKSsg9NEF
Thanks!
Well, I’ve fixed this for now by throwing a 404 on the author.php if !have_posts, but this meant changing the author.php template. I don’t know if this is going to fix much. These pages may still be included within the sitemap. Hopefully I haven’t messed with any functionality of the author template. For anyone dealing with the same issue, in your parent theme > author.php add:
<?php
if (!have_posts()) {
header(“HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found – Archive Empty”);
require TEMPLATEPATH.’/404.php’;
exit;
}
get_header();
?>
To the very top of the file. Unfortunately these are still being indexed, so I’m expecting a few errors in Webmaster Tools.

I think this is function of WordPress … WordPress creates automatic pages for things like categories, tags, authors/users, etc. — the theme only changes the look of those things, it doesn’t create new pages, posts or tags for you, or users.
Whenever you create a new user, there is an index for that user under their username, and even under the user-id. It is basically the same as an archive, except has a custom template. Typically there would NOT be an index for a “subscriber,” AFAIK. But editors, and contributors, all get author indexes by default.
You can hide “empty” author indexes from your sitemap using Yoast SEO; which I do. 🙂
In things like author widgets (“featured authors”) you can hide un-used and admin authors by their author ID code.

I know updatet the theme and Visual Composer and JetPack. It says version 444 so I hope that is correct. It hasnt done any difference but maybe if I update Revolution slider? If I do that then I have to make the templates with animation and the post slide again.
A link to the site is: http://www.krimbloggen.no/
I will let it have the frontpage with the revolutionslider on until you have seen the problem.
Thanks!!
Hi Support: this may be an visual composer question
1) How can I shrink the space between each visual block? I am working on my home page using your template but the there is a huge space between the header menu and the first block content
2) Do you have a block of display just to display article title and date?
Thanks
