Good morning!

I would like to change some things in the theme, but I couldn’t find where I can do them. Here’s where: http://prntscr.com/ln4wja
1. I want to change the gray color of the “hierarchy” (example: Início > Europa). I actually just wanted a little darker gray.
2. I also want to change the color of the “categories” and the “pull-down filter”. They’re both black, but I’d like to have them as the main color of my website.
3. Still related to the “pull-down filter”, I would like to take off the “By review score” and “7 days popular” sortings.

Is any of this possible? The colors are more important to me, to be honest, if the last topic can’t be ‘fixed’.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Or use a cloud post template, there the Related articles and More from author are different elements. You can use only one
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

These cloud post templates can be previewed and even edited here
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

Thanks

Hi,

Visual composer (now WPBakery page builder) was the main page builder provided with the theme. Until our own page builder was introduced in version 8. Our page builder is built from scratch, it is a front end builder
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Many of the features added in the theme after that update are available only if the tagDiv composer is used. Including the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can see the cloud templates live, preview them and even edit theme with our composer
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
Any of these can be imported and used, only with the tagDiv composer.

We recommend the tagDiv composer, it will receive many more features in the future. Also you can benefit from the cloud templates.

WPBakery will still be provided in the theme package and updated when the theme is updated.

Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

hello, I just bought this theme. It is amazing and easy to use, but I have been facing some real issues, which made me really unsatisfied and disappointed.

1. When I was uploading the default theme demo, it kept saying error connecting with server; however the demo was downloaded but in a weird way, as if it is broken.

A. The wide of the page is small then the demo
B. The Menu was totally broken, especially in mobile version!

Screen Shot of a Broken Newspaper Theme

thankfully, after spending 8H trying to fix this weird issue, I figure out the solution, which is this adding this custom CSS code.

#td-mobile-nav {
position:fixed;
}

The problem is why the hell, does this mobile-nav appears in desktop version? and it’s broken in mobile version.

Please I need the theme to be wider as the demo, and the menu work without this additional css.

—————————

2. Facebook counter is not working ! it is showing 0 followers!

Please fix this issue, I even uninstall and reinstall social counter from theme panel but facebook still not working.

—————————

3. The theme is far from being mobile friendly !!!! too many render blocking CSS and JS , I used TD booster but it said conflects with WP security plugin! and it is out of questions to delete this important plugin; so I used autoptimize plugin! he successfully combine CSS, but no JS are combined !!!!

Test in google test speed page, show 20% for mobile and 80% in desktop !!! huge difference !!

—————————

4. The menu in mobile is not working correctly until the whole page load !

5. when I activate TOP BAR, the mobile menu doesn’t work at all.

6. Lazy load is not working at all in mobile ! ( google test speed page ) show warning about lazy load in mobile.

—————————

I am tired, it is 02:14 A.M , I spend the past 11 Hours trying to figure out solutions! but I failed!
I need TAGDIV support !

Please help me, ^^

ps: my website is in Arabic, but that is not the reason for those issues anyway.

Hi

I’d like to use only the overall stars score (no numbers) for reviews in custom templates. There is no such option in the review block in Tdiv builder. Did I miss somethng or custom CSS is required?

Thank you

Hi,

The website is in maintenance more from what I can see at the moment. I will try to help you based on your previous messages.

If the tagDiv composer edit option does not appear for the homepage, it could be because the website not using a static page, it’s using the default WordPress blog page. This default page will show your latest articles and nothing else, it is not possible to edit it with the composer.

You can set a static page as homepage, build it with the composer and edit it when you want
https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Category pages cannot be edited with the composer. Category templates can be edited. This is possible with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
You can create your own or import category templates designed by us, post templates, author templates etc and apply them. You can preview these templates and even edit them here
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All

Default category templates cannot be edited with the composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-templates/

Please let us know if you have more questions or I misunderstood the problems you are having. When possible and relevant please provide some screenshots for a better understanding.

Thanks

The screenshot i provides come from your live demo of single post template 39. You just need to open the preview from cloud templates.

Hello,

do you mean the structure of the headlines + image + description etc.?
Yes, I use that but it still doesn’t work with my template.
Here you can see. If I use post template “Style-5”, then it’s working:
Working Smart List with Style-5
The same post with same content but with an other template is not working. I didn’t change anything at all, just changed the template from style-5 to my template, that’s all:
Not working Smart List with my own template
Did I do anything wrong?
I did it exactly as in the video and it works, but not with my template.

Hi, i’m having a little problem with single post template 39 from Cloud Templates.
Here’s the issue: in mobile/tablet view the post content is aligned on left and half of the page is blank.
Screenshot from your Live Preview: https://i.imgur.com/GtGxCsm.jpg
How can i fix it and show the content on full width page?

Hello pabloohid,

Please provide some useful screenshots with the problem so I can identify it. The post titles should have to be shown up before or after thumbnails. Check our demo preview here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Thanks.

Sorry @Calin,

I have been reviewing the “unique items” option, but there is no such option in the td-templates.

It’s not a page, it’s a cloud library template category. https://bit.ly/2FuqtUz

Hi

I found the answer to this. If you’ve got access to FTP, you can go into wp-content -> themes -> Newsmag and look for editor-style.css

Download and edit this file and look for:

html .mceContentBody {
margin-left: 20px;
margin-right: 20px;
max-width: 640px;
background: #ffffff url(‘images/editor-style/grid-sidebar-desktop.png’) repeat-y left top;

}

You can actually comment this out, or delete it.

Save and upload and you should have access to the full editor width.

I’m guessing it’s there to give a preview of how your content will look in the browser, but I prefer to have my full editor width.

Hope this helps

Tom

Hi! Today I have problem with adding reviews in post settings (Newspaper ver. 9.1). I can’t display it – this card below Gutenberg editor is frozen. Maybe the reason of this issue is the newest update od Gutenberg. Does anybody have the same problem? Any solution?

Hi,

Something is unusual in the website you provided. The container size is not how it is supposed to be
https://www.screencast.com/t/mBsmYsVVrU7
Did you maybe make modifications in this matter? Forcing the container to a higher or lower value would result in a broken layout. Wider layouts can be achieved with the tagDiv composer and row stretch setting
https://www.screencast.com/t/odokEN4DvdEB
The composer can be used to design almost everything. Pages, post templates, category templates etc. This is possible if the cloud library plugin is active
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can preview and even edit the available templates created by us
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
If you want to design your own, there is a blank template provided in each category of templates.

Without the forced container stretch the grid would look like this
http://prntscr.com/lj3w3i
The image on the right in the grid is almost of the required size for the grid. In my case with the same image this is the result
http://prntscr.com/lj3ynr
The thumbnail is not created properly in your case, a regeneration should fix it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
It still wont fill the module fully however. I could force it to fill the module, but the image may be distorted.

Maybe consider using a top grid that has smaller modules, for example
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/grid-5/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/grid-7/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/grid-8/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/grid-10/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/grid-11/
When using default category templates the top grid can be changed in the theme panel, for each category. For example
https://www.screencast.com/t/shOmGycyhh1f

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hello @Calin ,

Thank you very much for your help 🙂

Now everything is centered, it’s perfect. If, for example, I want to use a specific color for H1 in the all post (publications), what should I do?

Thank you for the link, I have reviewed it but although it seems strange, it is still complex for me. However, I will do tests to improve.

Cheers

Hi,

There will be overall performance improvements made in the theme in coming updates.

For optimal or within parameters accessibility a theme would have to be created with this in mind in the first place I believe
https://www.kasareviews.com/accessibility-ready-wordpress-themes/
I don’t think a plugin will be able to increase the level of accessibility of a website or theme. Themes designed specifically in this matter will rank higher in the matter.

Thanks

Hi,

You could use cloud category templates. Now you can create category templates with the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

We have created a few templates that can be imported (and modified if needed) or you can design your own starting from a blank template.
Here you can preview and even edit the available cloud templates
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Category
We will try to add more cloud templates in the future.

Thanks

That is the footer, these are the templates that you can choose from
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Some templates contain predefined content, others are blank and they will only display the widgets you want.

An alternative is to use footer pages – https://www.screencast.com/t/OWKc1UCVDoRd
Basically create a page and display it in the footer. You can also import footer pages with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Here you can preview and even edit the available footer pages designed by us
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Footers

Hi,

So you are referring to the newsletter widget – https://www.screencast.com/t/CDAoCkszN

Currently the newsletter provided by our plugin can be used only on pages, not as a widget in posts. So only where the tagDiv composer can be used.

If you were to use a cloud library template for the posts, it will be possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
You can preview the cloud post templates here
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

So all that is needed is to import or create a cloud post template, then drag the newsletter element in it
https://www.screencast.com/t/rzFarPlKh79

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

You can make the elements inside the page have a higher width or full width, not the actual page as a whole.
For example you can stretch the rows used in the page
https://www.screencast.com/t/RmCEWTPmqOB
Then you could use flex blocks in the page, flex grids or full width grids.
There are 10 types of full width big grids – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/

Through the cloud library you can import blocks designed by us based on flex blocks, preview and even edit them here
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

From what I can see at the moment the website uses the default WordPress blog page as homepage. That will only display a list of your posts, ordered by latest.

You can create a static page with the composer and set that as homepage
https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
In that page you can place any elements you want from the tagDiv composer, grids, blocks etc.
Also you can use block designs made by us (based on flex blocks), from the cloud library
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can see how they look, preview them and even edit them
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Import the ones you like in the pages you create
https://www.screencast.com/t/fz0yfnvC

Flex blocks have an option to set dividers between modules, so that won’t be a problem
https://www.screencast.com/t/fz0yfnvC

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
