The review graph and rating scores are generated by the same function and can’t be moved separately. You can move the entire review section if you want by editing the file corresponding with the post template used: http://screencast.com/t/4Zqzodfhn However to place the review in the middle of the page for example, you will need custom modification in theme’s core files because the post content (part written in post editor) is added with this a WordPress function: get_the_content() http://screencast.com/t/gcn6Yzmb To insert the review in post content you will need a similar code with the one for article inline ads, which allow you to specify the paragraph after which the ad will be inserted: http://screencast.com/t/UATxoSg8m
This is a complex task and I can’t provide a solution now. If you need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer custom services for the moment.

I like to use the review module, but I don’t really want it to be displayed at the bottom of the view page. How can I move the review graph bars to anywhere in the middle of the page?
Also I like to move the rating scores some where else on the page separate from the bars, so that it is on the top right of a page in the body. how can I do that?

I just updated Newsmag to the latest version 2.3 and also updated Visual Composer to 4.8.1.
I expected that Tabs, Toggle, Accordion etcetera would still be available as a (usable) element.
It says Elements within this list are deprecated and are no longer supported in newer versions of Visual Composer. however I am on the latest version right?
If I look at the Visual Composer plugin page (the stand alone one) on their preview they do list them as an example:

So what I would like to know is: how can I create these elements and can I keep the ones that I created? Or should I change anything? Because when I use the latest version nothing should be deprecated there right? Strange…

I will leave the review scores out for the moment. About the code to remove to make the 3 dots appear on the excerpts, how should i go about updating the code?
Straight from the editor on the WP Dashboard or from the file on local, and then updating it?
Am i gonna have to tweak that code paragraph everytime i upgrade the theme?

Unfortunately this is not an easy task to add reviews on Visual Composer elements and you will need custom modifications as you need to edit the plugin’s files. I suggest to hire a professional developer to do this for you as we cannot provide custom work at this time, sorry! A couple more things: I would like to add the review score on my custom grid element. The VS staff told me that if it can be done its through the theme’s meta info. I haven’t found any information around, can you tell me if it’s possible and if so, how to do it?
The second thing is the disappearance of the “…” at the end of the excerpt. I asked the VS staff and they have given me this answer:
3) By default our excerpt has a delimiter (…). Looks like your theme is modifying and removing it. You can contact the theme author and get rid of the code which is removing the delimiter.

I would like to create a custom grid element but im running into some difficulties.
Maybe some of these questions should be asked to the Visual Composer staff, however maybe you can help me too:
– how do i add the category tag on a custom grid element?
– can i add the (newspaper 6) review rating as an item on a custom grid element?
(this one is even less pertinent probably)
– when using the post excerpt and title in a custom grid element, how do i gain control over the excerpt’s lenght (in words or characthers) and on the excerpt’s and title’s font?

I don’t have any plugin that deal with how posts are displayed at all. It is in the block of any of the blocks from the theme does this. I already disabled all plugins except Visual Composer but it still does it but even if I give you access to the site, it still won’t show issue until I don’t post a new post in that category for like up to a month and half time.
It just does it on its own in about month and half time. Last one I posted in that category before yesterday was September 13th. I am just going to leave it and it does it again I will just add a new review. If all else fails that will do it.

At first, I set up Post Font. ==> See 1.jpg. I set up ‘transform’ to None.
And I blockquoted one sentence in my article, it changed UPPER CASE & Color. (I don’t want it) ==> See 2.jpg
But preview is just as I set up (transform is NONE).
It means setup the Theme panel is just affected to published article not ‘article editor’ .
Is it normal? Uppercase in article editor is very nervous.
I think there is a time limit on how posts are shown in a block no matter the filter you have. What I am saying is on my site I have a category music and on block of any set for this category and has happened many times. I set it up with random posts and filter the music category and ajax filter categories and preload and pagination prev and next.
It works fine if you post something and I have over 30+ posts in the category and set the limit of posts to 6 but if you do not post, lets say for like a month straight, it all of a sudden, instead of 6 posts to show it shows like 2 or 3 out of the 6. I could not figure out why it was only showing 2 or 3 but as soon as I made a new post in that category it was showing the 6 posts again.
Is there a way you can make no time limit on posts in the blocks? Sometimes I don’t give to many reviews on metal music all the time. The site focus is horror movies and music reviews is too but it is only a side project for reviews if I run out of other things to review or feel like reviewing music albums then I will add one but to just stop showing the posts in a block because of not adding a new post in the category makes no sense to me.
It should just continue to randomly show posts no matter if you don’t add a new one or no matter how long it has been. Just a thought but I can handle adding a new post to it. I just procrastinate some times and I feel like man. Why do I need to add another one here for? Everyone procrastinates sometime.

I am another “Frank” but I am experiencing similar problems.
I had VC (full license) installed at my site prior to purchasing Newspaper 6.
We have installed according to the manual (https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/)
We tried several times.
We are constantly having a persistant error message in our dashboard (“Important notice: You have an outdated version of Visual Composer Design Options. It is required to review and save it.”) that we can not get rid of and we are lacking a good number of elements (http://screencast.com/t/B2ExxHCzXQye) from VC. We are missig everything in that screensho after “Masonry Media Grid” (see here: abload.de/img/vctes4b.jpg )
We also tried turning everything off and on again – didn’t help.
For us Visual Composer is only offering the same four Dashboard-options as Frank showed in his screenshot above.
Any ideas?

By pure randum luck while reactivating plugins I hit (in dashboard) “Visual Composer” -> “Settings” and in there by a stroke of sheer luck I accidentaly clicked “user group access rights” -> “Administrator” and guess what? Almost all Newspaper-related items were disabled…
For the persistant Error-Message: that one is still there.
I strpngly suggest adding this to the knowledge-base to check there
We use a different review component, and it works well in most cases, the only issue is that for some reason block 15 will not let the information be added. We managed to add it well to the normal page display as seen here:

Okay, I sorted out what block to edit, but now I have run into another issue. The block does not seem to be giving the needed information for my code to execute.

I have been getting a lot of crawling errors from google and most of them is happening because that are several internal links being found and/or created adding my website name to the end of regular URLs. It happens for categories, pages, tags, etc. Can you please give me any help? In the example below, the ending “/photocommand” does not exist, and most of the 200 errors I am getting have this ending text in the URL end.
