I appreciate that your newspaper 7 thema. It’s very nice thema.
Ask you something.
I want to that use facebook development’s like and share script source insted of your sharing option.
Otherwise, I don’t want to your sharing option in post setting thema.
(top article sharing and Top article like/tweet..)
How can I do that?
Where is the insert space?

We have large news portals, not blogs.
We need the local copy of images and thumbs in order to actually have the thumbs on our system to use on indexes and front page vs resizing existing large images bad for speed/SEO; and also for Google News, Bing News, Apple News, social sharing, etc.
Of course, we are only loading content across our own sites, not from other people.
We also have dedicated server, so storage not an issue; plus if we only loaded elements from external sites without local copy we’d get broken images over time. many of our sites have been online up to 17 years, so a little different issue than for most of you 🙂
In any case, glad you found something that works for you. My answer was only on how to get an external or ‘first image in post’ into the featured image slot and use for thumbs and local elements in theme.
We are having *no* problems with rich pins sharing from our sites.
a) you need to pre-approve site rich pins with Pinterest
b) you need to have the open graph meta data in the head of your post pages, usually via plugin like Yoast SEO.
Theme has no control over Pinterest in any way.

I want to update the newspaper theme from version 7.3 to 7.8.1.
The problem is that the topic header looks bad.
I leave 2 screenshots: the correct one is with the theme without updating.
It seems that some class is modified and that is why it does not look good.

I know it, but Easy Social Sharing plugin is also hosted on Envato Market. But After you activate plugin with Purchase code it is possible to update plugin directly from WordPress. It get updated like any other normal plugin. SO I was wondering if something similar is possible or will be possible in future?
I want do this in Child Theme:
I created the structure of folders and files, as I wrote above and added the code in td_config.php in Child Theme. But nothing happened.

Hello, Is it possible to update theme directly from WordPress, without downloading again from Themeforest? I was using a browser extension to store passwords and lost all the passwords and not able to access Themeforest. I am not able access my Email account which i used to create account on themeforest.
So I was wondering if I can update theme directly from WordPress? I have also purchased Easy Social sharing button which has a feature to update plugin directly from WordPress.
Please help to update theme. I have purchased this theme few years ago. my site is also listed in your showcase.

Actually, I had tried the VC however I had some problems that I no longer remember well what they were.

Incidentally, I did not know this and I was very curious about it and the differences compared to the Newspaper. Maybe I can try the premium version and see if we will perform better, do you think it’s possible?

Hi, I am delighted with your theme. It’s functional, beautiful and easy to use. Probably the best theme I have ever used.
I have one small problem. I hope it’s solvable. It is the lack of buttons for sharing content. There are only four networks. It’s strange that it is not included, for example, StumbleUpon, which is a better source of traffic for the articles even from Facebook. Not to mention Reddit, Tumblr, SoundCloud and others, which are each very useful, depending on the niche. This is a huge handicap for any serious business. It shouldn’t be hard to let users decide what networks they will put as options for sharing.
I hope that this is solvable and that I don’t need to install additional plugins. Please explain to me how, because I didn’t find that information in theme’s documentation.

1. I do not know why you want to change the font properties for the text in the social sharing, and then remove it, maybe I am not understanding something.

Hi, I have two issues that I’d greatly appreciate some help with.
1. How do I change the font-style, weight, and family for the two parts circled in red?
2. How do I:
– change the Bottom of the Post Social Sharing Buttons Bar so that it is centered instead of left justified?
– Remove every button besides the Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons
– Change the Facebook and Twitter buttons so that it’s just the icon and without the redundant text “Facebook” and “Twitter”

There is no theme option to do this in the post page, however you can find the file responsible in the theme here

Then in the same file you can find the social sharing bottom for the post if you want to modify it as well

You can remove the links pointing to these socials in that file for both the social sharing top and bottom.

If you are referring to the top and bottom social sharing on the post page, there is no options at the moment to change the style. Minor changes can be made using custom css code, and this tutorial to create this custom code

can we change the sharing buttons style or there is no option for that ?
This is the list of all my available categories and their subcategories.
Once I set a category and a subcatgory for an article, on edit, all other subcategories are moved to the bottom of the page making the entire category list hard to follow especially for new authors. Example here.
Can something be done about this?
