These are the image sizes that the theme uses: http://screencast.com/t/DR0EMtjZXf
So you need to add an image at least 745px of width and 483px height so that it can fill the whole big slider’s image container because neither the theme or wordpress don’t enlarge images to fit the container, you would need a plugin for that.
Make sure you use a image large enough to fill the slider’s container then use this guide and regenerate thumbnails, make sure you deactivate any CDN plugins, purge files and empty cache first if you use any of this.
Please let me know if you still have this issues after this.

Sorry for the delay I have checked your site and looks good to ma now, do you still have this issue?
FYI as Christopher pointed the images aren’t enlarged by the theme or WordPress and you need a plugin for that, like Thumbnail Upscale or upload larger images.

I’m sorry that you are having so many problems with our theme and I’m almost sure that the problems are because our documentation is not good enough yet (we will fix this asap) and some of the features are a little bit strange to use. I can give you the full amount that you payed for the theme back but if by any chance you decide to stay with us I’m replying to your questions below.

1. I do not understand the question. We are working to put a demo for the video playlist live.

Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ first and regenerate your thumbs also make sure you have added the featured image right and that the featured image it’s not set to not be shown from the theme panel.
Also please make sure you go through our documentation, you can find there answers to many questions on how to use the theme features and option, also about the most common issues you may experience using our theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-documentation/
You can also search the forum for answers, we have wrote here solutions to many issues.
If you can manage to make this work please send me a link to your site so I can inspect this.

Hi,

From theme version 4, as you probably already know, we added our own modal light-box view for images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/display-image-using-modal-window/ but your lightbox plugin should still work.
I have checked your site and noticed that Pinterest plugins works now.
Please try to disable all plugins and then check the big slider if it doesn’t start working this may be due to some CDN plugins which delivers old content, make sure you empty server cache and deactivate the plugins then check again.
Also noticed that your thumbs don’t fit the thumbwrap container, you could try this to fix them.
Please make sure for now you disable all plugins and enable them one by one and check to see which may be the cause of this. Let me know what you find.

Hi,

The images thumbnails used to fill the containers of the big slider are set here: http://screencast.com/t/qsqNdE2g so if the image uploaded is large enough to fill the container will coupe the entire container without blank spaces.
Like I said here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/home-page-gallery-shrinks-images/#post-19270 you need to regenerate thumbnails and check if this issue is still present: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
Please make sure you do this and also disable any CDN plugins and check again.

Hi,

I have checked your site and did not found any slider there so I can inspect this issue.
I’m not sure what are you trying to say by this part ..and 1074×483 for post on the right (3 Post on the right). because the big slider uses the 745X483 px image size fro the big picture and the thumbs from the left used for the smaller images are at 326X159 px sizes.
Please try this https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ to fix the posts thumbnails and let me know if you still have this issue, also please provide a link which contains a slider that has this issue.

The big slider was originally thought and designed to use 4 posts.

Here is the code for it:

Are you using Jetpack Photon – http://jetpack.me/support/photon/ or a similar CDN plugin ? I noticed that your images link contain this resize=480%2C360 which makes the image link looks like this – http://i1.wp.com/thatcoolwebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/hqdefault1.jpg?resize=480%2C360
Without this CDN the link should be something like this: http://192.168.0.70/wp_demo_009/3/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/maxresdefault41-745x483.jpg
I think this could be the reason for this issue. Please disable all plugins including CDN and then regenerate thumbnails https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ and also remove and add the link for the featured video again for that post.

Regarding the infinite scroll you already have an loading in progress animation http://screencast.com/t/zca13IONyC which it’s positioned at the center of the block.

Hi,

The http://cherrykoks.de/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/no-thumb/art-big-1col.png is the path fro the thumbnail placeholder, that image shows up when there is no images to show there.
Please deactivate all your plugins except those theme requires so this way you are sure that is no plugin conflict that generates this and then please make sure you add the video into the featured video field and regenerate thumbnails like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
If this doesn’t solve it please give us wp-access and send your user and pass at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check and also send a link to this topic.
