Hi. Just a question regarding tagDiv Composer. I’m a little confused because I thought the tagDiv Composer was just a page builder, but when I deactivate it, I can no longer access the Newsmag – Theme panel where you can customize the theme. Which I find really strange, I don’t get how the two are connected. I’ve used other themes and they are two separate things. My reason for wanted to deactivate tagDiv is because first I already have Thrive Architect, and second, upon testing my page score I had a 13 second load time. After de-activating tagDiv the score dropped to 6 seconds. It’s a really heavy plugin that’s having a massive impact on page page by more than doubling the loading time.

By default our theme will generate thumbs for modules inside the blocks and grids, in this way the image will adapt and look well on all elements and viewporst you are using.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

This is a strange case, I just update the theme from v10.3.3 to v10.3.5 using FTP and for me is displaying like this -> https://i.imgur.com/8c3ilWG.png we’ll make some more investigations to see from where is this problem.

I have upgraded (as always via FTP) to the new version 10.3.5 After the update everything seems to work, but the WordPress system always tells me to upgrade to 10.3.5 (“You have installed version 10.3.5. Upgrade to version 10.3.5.”) although Newspaper Updates tells me “You’re up to date”! I deleted Cache, before and after it and installed it several times. I don’t want to do it via Newspaper Time Machine, because it ruined everything last time. Hints, tips? Thank you very much!

This is quite strange thing, the comment element is available only on single post templates from tagDiv cloud library.
Usually these elements can be removed be editing the page/template with tagDiv Composer and using the right click.
I’m curious how you set the comment on the page.

Usually this problem is from some plugins that like in your case will set 1px for image width and height -> https://i.imgur.com/ve1WXlm.png you need to find that plugin and let it disable.

I just installed Newspaper and I’m encountering strange technical issues:
1. When I open an article and scroll down, scrolling back up results in a whole bunch of text (from further below) appearing on top of the article.
2. On category pages, the sidebar does not appear as a sidebar. Instead, it appears under the content section of the site.
3. The category pages I created are not showing the proper number of posts (either two or zero – randomly it seems).
Is there a place I can send a support request with the login info?

I upgraded my site to NP 10 after being on NP 8 for the last couple of years. Transitioned to the Pulses Pro demo.
Things are looking nice but I’ve noticed that on Safari (MacOS 10.15.4), the columns overlap when scrolling. Here’s some pages where it happens:
Home Page

The column “Latest Living” moves on top of the left-side column when you scroll to it.
Article Page

The column with the pennies image moves on top of the left-side column. This happens on all article pages.
I really didn’t do much customization to the template yet, just removed some things from the demo home page. Strangely it does not happen in Chrome or Firefox. I can share screenshots if that helps.

I’m having a problem with the footer of my site on the mobile version, it looks normal when i enable it but when i try to go to my different footer pages such as the contact page or cookie policy page, absolutely nothing show up except the title of the page … how could i fix that ?
Another problem i have on the mobile version is that when i defer parsing of javascript with async javascript plugin, the menu to access my categories and the search sometime don’t show when i click on the buttons, i don’t wanna disable the plugin just for that as it greatly improve the speed of my site and except this problem it seem to work perfectly, is there any script i can add in exception to avoid the mobile version to bug ?
Also i tried to disable the tagdiv and wp mobile plugins to test with the normal site and here i noticed that the images on my blocks don’t load at all … this is pretty strange because it works perfectly on desktop
Last thing, i read on this post that we can gain more speed by deactivating the standard pack plugin but it seem to be needed for the homepage which break each time i desactivate this plugin, could you please help me ?

There is a very big difference from v8 to v10, I can say that is like a new theme.
1. If you are using standard post styles, then you need to know that these files were moved in tagDiv Standard Pack -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single also you need to use the child theme from the package v10 and make sure that you set the files as in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
2. In most cases this problem can be solved by regenerating the thumbs, this can be done using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
3. The header file need to be set in the child theme from package v10 and make sure that is set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

We are sorry for the bad experience that you have with our theme.
1. Usually this problem is made by untested plugins or custom code inserted in theme, for me and many other users the search is working normal.
2. I’ll not say that our theme update do not have some bugs , but I thing that this problem is not only with our theme, this problem is general with all themes, there are many cases specific for each users and we can not recreate all of them, but we try our best every time.
3. Indeed this problem is when there are still some elements that are not using https on your website, you need to find these elements and replace them.
4. This is a quite strange problem and is on our list for investigation but for the moment we do not discovers something that can provide the problem, also for the moment this was discover to be use only if you have pagination on your website and google index it, but we’ll make some more investigation to find from where is coming this problem.
If there is still a problem and you want us to take a look to it to try to fix it, please make a full backup to your website and send us a email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

There are so many problems with every update.
1. Our search box is not working. Tried creating the new header, deleting cache plugins.
2. Every update comes with different bugs. We have to put our time fixing it instead of creating content.
3. Mixed content Problem! This is more f up. We are getting mixed content warnings due to HTTP urls. Even though we use SSL and set everything to HTTPS, something from theme, may be, using HTTP which is giving this mixed content warning.
4. Strange pagination. I saw similar comments one themeforest page and now I guarantee its something related to Theme. The google search shows site links with strange pages like “2”, “10” search result. This “10” is domain.com/PAGE2 on site. It is neither created by us nor it should be there. Its like BLANK homepage. You have to fix it asap.
Please Give us some peace of mind. because with every theme update, there is new task for us to fix something.

We have discover some strange case when the host has a cache plugin enable, them the update appear only after a while, but this is not a general situation.
Using Newspaper v10.3.5 the theme should be a little faster when you try to edit something.
