Hi,

If you deactivated all you plugins it should work. The chances are that a plugin is causing the issue. Maybe you made some modification to WordPress or the theme just before this happened. Check any custom code entered in theme panel, or added to the files.
Also check the system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary

Thanks

Hello,

We are unable to save our Newspaper Theme Panel now, it seems to have been since the latest WordPress update (4.8).

We have followed all the instructions at https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and the ‘System Status’ section is not flagging anything.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,

Max

Hello DSLRMZ,

First of all, ensure that your system status is setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Hello Zakkery,

First of all, please check your system status to be increased to the high value. If is not, please try to increase it using our guide in this case, here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If you have issues with php.ini, please contact your hosting provider and let them know what you are trying to do so they can point you to the correct file. Also, please do not use symbols (!@#$%^&*) for the title of the widgets because it seems that affect the functionality of the sidebar.
For more information about sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have some additional customizations (full-width layout) through it and it is possible these changes to affect your layout.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

Hi,

1. The latest theme update featured the introductions of the new front-end page editor, the tagDiv composer. This editor is activated by default at the moment you update the theme. If you are using Visual composer, please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Then check the functionality of the image box again.
More information about the new editor here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

2. If the plugin is not displayed in the plugins section, the it is added differently. Maybe you inserted code or shortcode in the theme files, or the theme panel custom code sections.

3. If you want to display an image in the ads section you can do it like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/NNzw0ldFz
If you have tried this and the image is not displayed, it could be a caching problem. Try clearing any caching installed then check again.

4. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the mentioned parameters in this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This could be the reason for slow loading and other issues, like settings not saving properly.
The theme is tested and works properly with the Visual composer editor provided in the theme package. This does not require any activation, I could not help you with the activation of a purchased Visual composer issue.

Thanks

Hello,

This could be a memory allocation issue. Please try to increase the system status parameters according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Plugins can also affect the proper functionality of the builder so please try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and clear all caching.

Thanks

Hello percezioni,

Notice that the speed booster is an optional plugin which can be activated in the same way as you install a new plugin.
The Speed Booster works only with the tested plugins. If you use other plugins, it will be automatically disabled, and I suggest to check this first in System Status. However there is a workaround to make it also work with other plugins, you can read more here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-not-compatible-with-vaultpress/
Unfortunately, the time doesn’t allow us tot provide any custom and optimization services. We provide support only for the theme related issues based on Envato support policy – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy I suggest to get someone to help you if you want to optimize your site.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello yalcinc,

First of all, ensure that you are using the latest theme version, check the system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Check your PHP memory to be correctly setup and also, check the permissions to your dedicated server to be active. Hello,

Please do not use both page builders at the same time. Choose one or the other. We recommend switching to the tagdiv composer as we will develop our theme in the future based on our own page builder, not visual composer. You will still be able to use visual composer in the future but it will remain with the options available for it now. We will not add any new elements to visual composer. We will add lots of new and cool stuff to the tagdiv composer though.

As for the loading screen on the page builder, please increase your memory allocation by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thank you!

Hello,

Please understand that the issues you are facing will be faced on other themes as well. There is optimization that needs to be made on your wordpress install that themes cannot do for you. Please use this guide and ask the host if you cannot do it yourself, as the theme requires this memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

It is a hosting memory issue, not a theme issue. We are here to help and we will do so as best we can. Sorry you feel disappointed but this is the hassle when starting out with WordPress. Once you get into it more, it becomes tons easier.

Best of luck from us at tagDiv!

Hello,

This is usually due to the system status parameters not being set properly. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
It could also be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thanks.

Hello Marto,

Please keep in mind that very important is to make these changes in your system status. Not depends on when you will make this, before or after theme installing.

Hi,

I did not update with FTP. Just using the import from WP it selfs. What is the difference? The theme is working like a charm. The TD composer also, but I cannot save because of the layer, see my snap. I am not using VC. So why the link to switch over form TB to VC? I need no transition document.

System status is check, all green. Beside of max_input_vars. I asked my provider if it can be increment.

Regards,

Bert

Hello bert.deelman,

First of all, ensure that you have right installed the theme via FTP way and then check your system status to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ For more information about TD Composer and the transitions between our builder and Visual Composer, please check the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
