Hello grochu,

Unfortunately, we know about this problem and we will consider t fix it in near future updates. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

.td-stretch-height {
height: 100%;
width: 100.03%;
margin: 0;
position: relative;
}

Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks again, but again did not work.

I get this message again:
“Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.”

And I can edit with front end home page.

Hi,

At the moment these are the available options for the post sharing
https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
Additional sharing possibilities could be added in future theme updates, but I could not say for sure when this will happen. You could consider using a sharing plugin that has more capabilities in this regard.
For the other social networks, in the top menu and footer for example, you can add your account information in the Theme panel->Social networks – https://www.screencast.com/t/6RMLk9u2q

Thanks

Hi,

You can simply de-register your theme from the current domain, from the system status using this option
https://www.screencast.com/t/uChS68YT52
And then you can activate it on the new domain using the same key.
Visual composer is provided pre-activated, so it should not be an issue in this matter
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks

Hi,

You could set the respective block sort order to Popular (last 7 days) and then modify this file to a different time span – https://www.screencast.com/t/TnctnSaLqlp
But please note that additional modifications could be needed to achieve something like this, and would require coding skills. If you ca not manage this I suggest you consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we can not provide custom work at the moment unfortunately.
More options and settings regarding sorting may be added in future theme updates, but I could not say for sure if or when this will happen.

Thank you for understanding!

Hey there,

As with the problem stated above, I have activated my license key for Visual Composer. There are updates to both the Theme and Visual Composer.

NOTE: I would want to check if updating the Theme would cause any sort of data loss? Such as css codings or data loss.

Or is it suggested just to update Visual Composer via uploading plugin to prevent any sort of content / data loss.

As below in the image below, automatic update to the plugin is unavailable.

Hi Bogdan

Thank you for your reply. Can you please clarify for me what sort of modifications you need to keep track of and fix after you make an update. For example are changes you make from the default settings using the tools, buttons, checkboxes, dropdowns, etcetera, that are provided by the theme, modifications that you would need to keep track of when you do updates or are the changes you make through coding to files like the php.functions file and stuff like that, the modifications you need to keep track of or do you need to keep track of all or any changes you make. I hope I have explained this well enough so that you can understand what I mean.

Regards
Lachie

I just updeated my Newsmag template to ver 3.4. After update post with style 6 makes front picture very big. They looks like zoomed in some posts and “slided” in other posts (there is ugly white blank space in right side).

problem

I uploaded 3.3.1 template and it works good right now.

Hi,

As far as I know Woocommerce decided in update 3.0 to remove the default option to display the lightbox feature
https://www.screencast.com/t/wqpVLHYodvfj
Here you can find all the changes that this update of Woocommerce provided
https://woocommerce.com/2017/04/woocommerce-3-0-release/
This option was previously available for the products. I believe this was decided by the plugin developers. You can try the method provided in this topic by the developers to add support for the lightbox
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/lightbox-not-working-after-upgrade-to-3-0/
Try adding the code mentioned in the link provided, the one for the lightbox or for the other features, in the theme functions.php file like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/w3zC89TUFlhb
With this result
https://www.screencast.com/t/hWlYT1s2
Please note that the theme does not influence or interfere with the plugin in this matter, it all depends on it’s settings and options, and what the developers choose to remove or add as features.

Thanks

Since I updated the latest version of the panel 3.4, many options have stopped working. Nor does the option to create sidebars work. When I click on the sidebar create button, nothing happens.
Thank you very much.

Hi,

The Visual composer editor provided in the theme package comes pre-activated with a license. You do not have to activate it anywhere, and you can use all the features available. More information here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not have to worry about the activation messages. Updates for the Visual composer plugin will be provided along with the theme updates.

Thanks

Hello,

The visual composer plugin is not a trial version. The front-end editor was disabled on our theme because it created conflicts with our theme blocks and grids. Only the back-end editor can be used. As for the activation code, the message can be ignored as you cannot activate the plugin in the bundled version. This is mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thank you!

Hello soklevskis,

The child theme will not be overwritten by new theme updates until the core files of the theme will be overwritten to each theme update. The child theme is good if you plan to make some changes to your theme. Notice that exists some restrictions with this and if you want to know which exactly files might be overwritten by child theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ Also, for more references and details about child theme, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/setting-up-child-theme/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Maybe in a future update some options regarding these elements in the footer will be available, but I could not say for sure when this will happen. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for understanding!

Hello ffarci,

If you have some changes to the code and if these are not made in the child theme, the new theme update will overwrite all of these and your changes will be lost. To be safe, you should make a full backup to your database and for your old theme and after the update, you should make them again but please notice that for each update this case will happen, sorry! If the theme allowed to make these changes in the child theme, you should follow this method to ease your work. For more information about child theme support, please consult our useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Try and re-add a video to the post featured video field, select the video format and one of the recommended post templates and update the post. It should generate the featured image from that video. You could also try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and then try again, just to see if a plugin is the cause for this to happen. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

BTW, here’s an updated snippet for wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php …

<div class="td-login-wrap">

<div class="td-login-panel-descr">' . __td('Welcome! Log into your account', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</div>

<div style="position:relative;top:6px">' . do_shortcode('[apsl-login-lite]') . '</div><div style="position:relative;bottom:27px">' . $users_can_register_link . '</div>
</div>

' . $users_can_register_form . '

<div id="td-forgot-pass-div" class="td-login-form-div td-display-none">
<div class="td-login-panel-title">' . __td('Password recovery', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</div>
<div class="td-login-panel-descr">' . __td('Recover your password', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</div>
<div class="td_display_err"></div>
<div class="td-login-inputs"><input class="td-login-input" type="text" name="forgot_email" id="forgot_email" value="" required><label>' . __td('your email', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</label></div>

Please let me know where the files are for the mobile version so I can start fiddling with it.

There was bug in WordPress tinyMCE editor — not related to theme in any way — that was fixed by this week’s update to WordPress; so make sure WP has been updated, then have client fully clear all caching/history in his browser(s) on tablet.

Also, make sure he is using ‘visual’ editor in WP as the text edit doesn’t insert live links when doing copy-paste from HTML. Basic WP usage worth a refresher with clients, I often find 😉
