It’s included in theme. However, it’s a ‘bundle’ version, so you cannot ‘activate support’ from WP-Bakery, or get updates from them. It gets updated when theme updated, only. You can ignore the register/activate nag notice.
Hello guys. I want to upgrade from the Newspaper 4 I have now installed on my website to the latest update of your theme.
When I tried the normal procedure(select another theme as default, erase the old folder, paste the new one and reselect Newspaper as default theme) it loses almost everything. Styles, menus, sidebar etc. I have also imported the settings from the old theme to the new one but nothing happens. Could you give me any suggestion how to proceed?
Could I send you the project and see if any customization exists in theme files? This project was from another programmer but I want now to upgrade it for my client but to not create a new website!

I’ve just updated my newspaper theme sent by themeforest. Before that, I was using v7.7.1. I did have Background color set to Grey. After updating to v7.8, my blocks on homepage are become on edges which are clearly visible that there is no padding between the Grey background color and block’s title, content and thumb images.
It seems too ugly now. Please help me how to correct it/add padding or something wrong I’ve done?
I am also using Child theme, where there are lot of customization I already have.

I have this issue every time WordPress runs an update. As soon as the new update goes out, my theme settings and widgets are lost. This is crucial to me as we have a reputation as well as analytics code to rely on within the theme settings. I need to know of a permanent fix. I am using Newsmag v 3.3.1 and wordpress 4.7.3.

It has already passed a month, but you still have not done upgrade in order to use the new version of Visual Composer.
I want to know the schedule in days.
This is a common error when changing themes, where Google can “see” the dev folder during changeovers.
Only way to avoid this in future, it’s only going to happen when updating theme, so you can ignore it — is to use a “maintenance mode” plugin; turn off Yoast or other sitemap app; then update any theme such as this one; then when done, turn the maintenance mode OFF.
This happens with all themes, and is nothing to worry about — just mark ‘fixed’ in your search console and move on.
Ideally, if there were a “top 25 FAQs” page here, that would be one of them 😉
Correct. I don’t work here, however it’s worth noting that TagDiv — and others here who help out from time to time as long time users — often need more info than “a plugin doesn’t work” hence my asking “which” one. There are thousands of third party plugins and NOT all of them work with current version of WordPress introduced in 2017. The plugin you mention hasn’t been updated in 8 months or more, and has numerous support forum problems on WordPress.org noted.
That plugin is not made by TagDiv so “demanding” support from anybody here and then complaining about not getting support, seems a bit unfair and childish.

It sure would be nice to be able to override the mobile theme templates in a child theme f.x. or to have the option to do so in the accompanying plugin. I really like the mobile theme but small changes I need in the single post template (members only articles) are really complicating working with it, I have already made the changes in the main mobile theme files but now an update would break/revert my changes.

I mean many settings, css works also removed??
Since i installed the latest update, this is happening to my header. I have to go back to the old version to have it shown correctly.

I have updated the theme and then deactivated all plugins. For a minute, it was fixed but then again I tried changing with other grid and it again vanished. It has wasted my 1 hour of time which is actually insane. I tried activating few plugins. I deactivated w3 total cache as well when I was updating the homepage, Should I install the composer file again?
I think it’s because of a plugin. But I just have the basic plugins.

If you do not have access to make these modifications, you could wait for the plugin to receive an update that would hopefully fix this issue. Or you can just choose not to use the mobile plugin for the moment if it does not work properly in this situation, because the design of the theme is fully responsive and adapts to every device screen size accordingly.

No you are not missing it, it is a simple mistake by envato. If we update our presentation page, envato sends the message as if there was a new update. There is no update for the moment, we simply changed something on the theme page and envato considered we uploaded a theme package.

That is a faulty email from envato as it will notify an update is available even if we simply access the theme presentation page and hit the save button. Even though there is no theme update available. It is an envato error nothing more.

You don’t have to activate the Visual Composer plugin, it’s already activated. Latest version of the Visual Composer is 5.1 and it is included in the latest theme update 7.8.

Maybe additional options to place ads in these pages could be made available in a future update, but I can not say for sure if or when this will happen. Yesterday (3rd April 2017) ThemeForest notify me an Update available for ‘Newspaper’
but it seems that nothing changed (i see version 7.8)
than the previous update on March 21st, 2017 (version 7.8)
Is there a mistake on themeforest notification?

Unfortunately there is no update. Envato will send that email even if we simply change the presentation page on Envato. It notifies a change but it cannot know if we updated our presentation page or if we released a new update. It is a flaw in the system. Sorry for the inconvenience.
