i assume that ADS PRO is a plugin that you’re using to manage ads. We didn’t tested this plugin and we’re not aware of its functionality in order to provide an answer. Also it’s not recommended to deed parts of theme’s code, it’s better to overwrite that code. The custom css can be added in theme panel > custom code> custom css and won’t be lost when the theme is updated.

The social counter styles are only available in newspaper 7 and the latest version of the social counter (4.1)
Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version install the social counter that is bundled with newspaper 7 in the main theme archive.

This happens because you use newspaper 7 but you did not update your social counter plugin. The old social counter will not work with newspaper 7. Please deactivate and delete files for the social counter from the wp plugins section and install the plugin again from here: http://screencast.com/t/GYD790MwTJEA

If visual composer still is not working, please update your plugin to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You can find the latest version of the plugin in the main theme package under the plugins folder. It’s named ‘jscomposer’.

There seems something went wrong in the installation process. Please update your theme via ftp by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and make sure you update the plugins as well in newspaper 7
IF you still get this error, please also try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear all caches.

I’ve checked your site and it seems that you’re using V 2.33 of Newsmag: http://screencast.com/t/ENldtIXR4n Please try to update the theme again https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ also try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.

I also have a Samsung s3 and is showing a blue screen after homepage is loading, in explorer default browser.

I’ve checked tabs in posts and they works fine on my end. I am not sure why this happens on your site but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Com poser, clear all caches then test again. Also make sure that you’re using V 3.0 of Newsmag and also check if Visual Composer is update at V 4.11.2. If you still can’t manage to solve this please provide a link where we can inspect this and we will get back to you in shortest time.

Note that Chrome browser “caches” web pages on their CDN to load faster for web users, and depending on the time to live on your cache on your website you need to clear history in Chrome to see most updated page, especially if using mobile version on iPad, Windows desktop, etc. You can also use the developer mode in Chrome to force reload page.
Some CDN settings can be set too long for indexes which are updated daily/hourly, vs posts/pages updated weekly. This is unrelated to theme and impacts all sites regardless of theme or technology. Tricky!
Ok, updated to Newsmag 3, updated VC to the one included with Newsmag 3, updated to WP 4.5.3…. now all is well and working 🙂

As you can see, this other site, has a block of 3 posts after which all their widgets from the desktop version appear one after the other on mobile.
I want to achieve the same.

Nevermind. Deleted the theme and reinstalled it. Fixed the problem.
Now the problem is that my Facebook fans counter on the plugin stays 0, while Twitter and YouTube subs are up to date.

So I recently updated to version 7. The thing is, I had modified the td_config.php file and had set the thumbnail resolution from 696 x 0 to 696 x 392. Now, I downloaded version 7 on my PC, modified the td_config.php file again and uploaded it to my site. However, then, when I wanted to delete various plugins or do other stuff, I receive the following warning:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/meuser/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php:1) in /home1/meuser/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1167
I have already reversed the code from 696 x 392 to 696 x 0 (so it is like the original file) but the problem still appears. Any ideas?

I was updating plugins a while back… I may have accidentally updated VC outside of NewsMag…
It is just the home page with VC that I am having this trouble with. All other edit pages load normally with th edit box.

The shortcodes you see are there because you do not have the visual composer plugin activated at the moment. Please activate the plugin so the shortcodes can get rendered. Also you need version 4.11.2 of visual composwer if you use version 4.5 of wordpress. There was a conflict between wordpress and visual composer under version 4.9

Hi,
I tried to do the update for Newspaper 7 this morning on one of my websites. After doing so visual composer stopped working. I updated it to the version that came in the download package but still not luck. I have reverted back to the older version of the theme but the problem is still persisting. Do you know why this might be?
