It looks like, You have updated possibility, to only use “real” authors in Author box, and not just registered users. Cant see however, how it should work though..:-)

I was going to open a new topic about this logo behaviour on smartphones because I thought it was a problem like manojkhatri did, but now I see it’s how this style 9 works… I would like the logo was inside in the menu and search bar because with this 9style logo looks a little big. The perfect size in the PC is not perfect for smartphones. And if you turn the smartphone to read on horizontal mode is worse.
I think it would be a very nice update if you can change that. But if it is not possible I won’t be worry so much, the theme is practically a 10 for me 🙂
I have updated theme and visual composer, but not sure that problem is solved.
For some reason load time of site has increased as well.
Header images (previews of featured posts) almost never load.
Tried different browsers – same thing with everywhere, it’s just gives a grey screen.

This visual composer seems to be an issue everywhere. I get this message in my admin..
Please activate your copy of the Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer to get update notifications, access to support features & other resources! And another that requires input of my Licence key, which I did, but gets error message.. I wanted to find help here, I found forum post on how to update visual composer.

Hi – I am having the same problem. We updated to the latest WP 4.5.1 and all of our feature images disappeared at http://www.inspirelle.com. We recently updated the Newsmag theme already. Our developer who usually helps is on holiday, and I need help urgently. Can you please help? I saw that durgatripathy resolved this problem by downgrading WP. But I have no idea how to do this.
really it seems that the wrong categories in urls link related there are also before the update … strangely in some article and in others not …
I tried upgrading from Newspaper 4.4.4 yesterday but everything looked messed up so I had to go back to a backup version of my site. (The good news was the updater script worked so my sidebars were preserved)
I have a Woocommerce plugin which requires no woocommerce.php which is what I see we have in Newspaper 4. I am trying to work out if it is worth persevering with upgrading to 6 but I won’t if it is also has a woocommerce.php file.

Thanks for your time, just one question to be sure. Right now I have some custom code in template and it is set up like in demo, so do I lose all of that custom code (analytics, share, adsense…) after update of the theme and do I need to “remake” this visual look as it looks now?

Months ago, when i uploaded and used the galleries on my posts, it showed the image title once you clicked on the image of the gallery. Now it’s not showing it anymore (i guess due to some update). How can i make the title show in the galleries? I can’t add a caption/description for each image since i’m talking about 600+ images here.
After update to wordpress 4.5.1 now the next and previous (< & >) button of the mega menu doesn’t scroll other news. It add a # to the url but doesn’t load anything.

You can find the plugin in theme’s path. Make sure you download the last theme version available on themeforet then update Visual Composer plugin fro /plugins folder as it’s indicated in our documentation.

the update order does not make any difference. the latest version of wp is compatible with our latest version of the theme and the latest version of visual composer. So you can update WP, then the theme and then visual composer, but this order does not matter as long as you update all of the se items. Also make sure you update the social counter as well. We released a new update for it as facebook changed their code again and we had to adapt our social counter to the new one.

Please restore your back-up if you created one and use this method to update properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (look for the update from version 4 section)
Please also try it without any plugins as these are 2 very different version of our theme so plugin conflicts may be an issue as some of your plugins will have to be replaced if they conflict with the theme.
