I tried to add this code on single template 2 but this thing add extra line that shows last updated time and also published date. I don’t able to remove originally published date.
And For module 14, I also want to show ‘last updated’
This is bug introduced by WP 4.4 – the new theme update this week fixes the problem introduced by WordPress.
I have read the documentation 100 times and have made all the updates but for some reason I cant get the social counter to work for my youtube channel. All the other SM accounts work fine. I see the link is trying to link to youtube.com/user
If I add my youtube user ID – qWOS0H-tVHhRUx3j41K6Ug Its does not work.
If I add my channel ID – UCqWOS0H-tVHhRUx3j41K6Ug
If then mixes them in the URL – user/UCqWOS0H-tVHhRUx3j41K6Ug
This driving me crazy. Can anyone help me connect this.

I do not know since when and why (recently there was updates from theme, wordpress, and some plug-ins), but I get this problem.
I have many 404 errors, all because of concerned URL have /sweetdaddylyon at the end ; and the good ones do not have it.
Example : http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=523815Frog.jpg
I do not even understand from where it comes, and when I go on the concerned URL there is no link to the URL in error (I do not find it at least ^^’).
Any help would be much appreciated !
Well, the update script, if you ask for it, migrates many of the existing settings from old theme to new one. You can then tweak a few of the home page modules for the new system. Not terribly painful. it’s a whole new theme, but the updater scriptlet helps with that quite a bit. You might also need to reset a couple of modules in sidebar(s). But a lot of the normal settings are saved through the WP transients just like any “same theme” update, vs upgrade. it’s only the things that totally changed which require some tweaks.
Of course, always keep backups via FTP, and your mysql dbase so you can “go back” if you mess things up too badly.
Double checked .. WP admin panel correct, frontend wrong .. i might ask my hosting what is going on .. there were some updates on server yesterday (Apache 2.2, SSD …) but no matter what, it is strange 🙂

We own a copy of Newspaper 6 and we are currently beginning setup and development. We run in a multi-site environment and will eventually be purchasing additional licenses for each site. Unfortunately I think I’ve run into a bug.
When I go to one of the sub sites I can no longer edit the menus. The menu name option is missing and all of the options on the left are greyed out.
If I go to the main site I can edit the menus fine. I can also edit the menus correctly in the sub-sites if I change themes.
It will be very important for us to have different menus on each site and for the individual admins to update them. Is this something that you could take a look at?

At this point all theme issues with 4.4 wp update have been fixed in both themes latest updates so there is no need for that 🙂

The latest theme version available on themeforest, V 6.2.2 it’s tested and works fine with WordPress V 4.4 and Visual Composer V 4.8.1. Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using and test again.
If the problem persist please provide your site url so we can inspect it closer.

Please make sure you clean your cache as the counter is not live and it is cached. You can try to remove the app id and save settings, clear cache again and then add the app id again. If it still does not show check your settings again and if they are correct you can wait a little bit for it to update.

The update script can be run after you update to the new theme version as it’s function is to convert the shortcodes used by the old theme. Unfortunately there is a hick-up in this process. The update script was removed in the 6.6 version so our advice is to send an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can provide the previous version of the theme which contains the update script. After you run the script you can update to the latest version.

I do not know what theme version you are using, but since newspaper 6 we added this menu: http://screencast.com/t/kaW2Tl0r92M where you can select the thumbs you want to use and avoid creating too many image sizes. Just keep in mind that already created images will not be removed by the theme. For this you will need the force regenerate plugin.

This kind of file, td_config.php, is an important file for our theme and for every update, this will be changed. You can make a custom modification in your td_config, but on every update will be overwritten. You should do a backup file of customizations and at each update it must implement. This might be the only solution.

These errors were not there a few weeks ago. It is only recent that these errors began to show up. Google seems to have changed a few things with their developers tools. We are looking into these errors and in a future update we will implement a fix for them.

First, thank you for creating such a cool product. I have used it for ca. two months and everything works perfect!
However, issues come after I have upgraded to WP 4.4 and Newsmag 2.3.3 (for your reference, my website is http://www.insight007.com)
1. Some articles can not be accessed any more
some articles can still be accessed (e.g. the big picture of the block on the top of the website)
some can not be accessed (e.g. the four small pictures on the right side of the block on the top of the website)
At first, when I click those articles, the note is something about “php file, exceed max length (260) …” (sorry, can not remember the exact note)
Then, I have updated my newsmag from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3. The issue has not been solved and now I get “500 – Internal server error”
I have already called my host, they have checked all the links and told me that the issue comes from the theme …
2. Block looks different from before
after updating to 2.3.3, I have found that the two “Block 1” in the page do not look as they should be anymore … (you can check it from the website)

You will need to update visual composer as well: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and also the social counter for it to work properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
(remove the current one you have active and delete files, and then install it from the theme panel->plugins section: http://screencast.com/t/ASNQo7Vw28)
As for your customization, it depends if customization was made to the theme files or the settings. The theme settings, colors, menus posts and pages are made in the database. The update will not affect this type of customization. If you altered the theme files and have made changes to the php code, then it will get replaced with the update. That is why a back-up is recommended.
