The theme doesn’t have an option to add a widget in top bar area, you will need custom modification to achieve that. The file that need to be edited in this regard is top-menu.php: http://screencast.com/t/eMWOYHrZl Unfortunately we cannot offer custom services at this moment as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support but you can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

I have tried to do the setup on the child-theme but did not work. I then just added it to the parent theme folder I must just remember to update it when I update the theme but if you can include in the next update will be awesome.

Please make sure to update your theme to the latest version (6.5.1) and also update visual composer to the latest version (it comes with the latest version of the theme).
If the problem is still there after the update, please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the playlist again.
I have tested this on my end and it works fine, even adding the playlist shortcode in a textblock.
If the problem is still there after disabling plugins please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your login info so we can take a closer look at the problem and come up with a solution

Please make sure you use the latest theme version 6.5.1 and you update the theme plugins first, then check it only with Visual Composer active(disable all other plugins) and if the issue persist we will take a look.

Hi guys, let me make long story short – I’ve used pirated verison of theme for a while, set it up (version 4), loved it, and decided to buy updated version 6. So here I am.
website in question is – https://www.coma.lv/
1) fonts. I’ve change any possible setting in theme, however I could not get my headings and titles to change to anything but Roboto.
2) boxes with golden border here – https://www.coma.lv/photo/wedding/ before the update boxes with golden border were positioned nicely on the right hand side of each block. Now they shifted below other blocks. As soon as I remove border, they move back to the right.
3) section “Типы сайтов и цены на разработку” here – https://www.coma.lv/wordpress-website-development/, middle block is lower than others. When I change from H3 to Paragraph – everything is ok.

I just wanted to thank Thalisson for starting this thread and all of your individual contributions. I have been ruminating over this since roughly August 8th (in what I thought was my own private hell, lol) and this thread is an absolute lifesaver.
Lucian, I updated TD_Social_Icons.php with the code you provided via FTP. Is that all I need to do? Is there any way to confirm it is corrected other than publishing a new URL via the site and seeing if it gets a crawl error? It was adding my Instagram name onto the end of every url (For example, http://www.example.com/instagram_name), 500+ of them.
Also, I saw in your above post regarding 404 errors not having a huge impact on Google, but how can I fix all these broken links rather than going into EACH ONE ad redirecting? I don’t want to leave them broken.

Great fan of your work 🙂 I have bought both Newsmag and Newspaper themes to use on my websites. But few things/options which I really miss and am sure many publishers like me want them as well. So, here is a small list of features suggestion, which you guys can bring in future version of themes…
1. Many publishers like me have smartphone apps of their publication/website. So, please introduce a widget kind of thing for sidebar just like social counter widget which displays the logos of Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Windows App Store.. through which we can notify and redirect our readers to respective app stores to download our mobile apps.
2. Please introduce auto load of previous or same category post on single post page. You can check Flex Mag theme to know what am talking about. They have given an option of auto loading posts below the single post using ajaxing, i guess. The auto load of posts increases the page views per visitor, brings down the bounce rate, increase average time spent on site.. and good in various ways. You can also check Digit.in website to check the auto loading of posts. Please introduce this option and we publishers will be very thankful to you guys.
3. Auto YouTube playlist fetching or Latest videos fetching from a specific YouTube Channel. Many publishers like me also have YouTube channel, which they updates on regular basis. So, if you can introduce a widget and Block/Module to display YouTube playlist or Channel’s latest videos list automatically just by adding the playlist ID or Channel ID… it will be awesome! In current block, we have to manually enter the IDs of videos which we want to display which is very painful thing to do again and again.
4. Please introduce native functionality of adding contact forms, no more depending on 3rd party plugins.
5. Introduce Quora profile option in Social Counter Plugin.
That’s it for now. I hope to get a positive reply on introduction of these features soon in the themes. 🙂

Here’s a useful suggestion. Occasionally sell “publiposts”, which is necessary to remove the distractions, especially article inline ad. However, this is not possible at this time.
Could bring in an update that you can remove the ads on certain articles?

To achieve that you will need a script which defect if the visitor have an adbloker enabled and applies a css rule which remove the blank space. I’m using Newsmag from last 3 to 5 month but from last 1 week my site is facing an issue that is of Admin-Ajax it is taking a lot of server load time and making site run really slow.
I feel like after the recent update of Visual Composer and Theme update I’m facing this issue.

@elvinf if you decide to use the child theme your customization won’t be lost when you update the theme to a newer version but this doesn’t mean that all changes will work fine with the new update. You have to check if the customizations from child theme are compatible with the theme update and eventually adjust them properly. Checking the change log is the easiest way to see if the files you modified are on the updated list, so this way you will know which files you need to verify.

Unfortunately it is hard to say which option gets implemented in the next update because we have hundreds of suggestions and requests and the developer has the final word on what makes it in the next update. We cannot say if this option will be present or not in our future updates but i will add it to our suggestion list.
As for the plugin, we have not tested it and do not know if it will work properly with our theme or not. You can maybe find a free one to test out and see how it goes.(something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/business-directory-plugin/)

You can alternatively use another sorting method if you want to show latest posts or popular 7 days.
Maybe in a future update this option will be implemented as well. I will ad your suggestion to our list.

@azzronulation glad you could manage to solve the issue, but is important to note a few mentions about this. Moving the td_module_single_base.php it’s not incorrect because it’s supported by the theme, you can check the files that can be moved in child theme in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ However when the theme is updated, many of its files are modified and there is a chance to appear some conflicts with customizations from child theme. That’s why you need to check at every theme update if your customization are compatible with the new theme version, and eventually adjust them properly.

2) I notice that the website is a bit slow after the update. I used the plugin P3 PLugin Profiler and I notice the problem here ( http://i.imgur.com/P3BiSkU.jpg ) . The MySQL Queries are more than Double after the update!!!!
– I didnt add any new plugins , actually I delete some I had
– I deactivate my most heavy plugin and still I had the same MySQL Queries.
I want to ask if there are more users like me who faced the same problem or its just me. i really would like to listen ur advice!!!
