I had a similar issue. Turned out there was a plugin that was incompatible with php 8.1 (schema and structured data). Deactivated it and the site was back to normal. They put out an update for the plugin immediately aftewards. Check if one of your plugins is throwing an error in your server’s error log (I use apache). The theme should not be the culprit.
Hello @f5guru !
That is a block from the homepage, I guess.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Unfortunately, you cannot customize the elements with the TagDiv Composer if you use the Mobile theme plugin. Maybe with a custom CSS: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
If you want to use the responsive version or a mobile page as described above at points 1 and 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
The problem is that with each update, I’m having to do this, and it’s a problem with all users.
Hi TagDiv team. Nearly all publications are now publishing their content through Google Publisher Center / Google News. We actually have followers now on Google News.
We’d like to add Google News to the social media icons at the top of our website … just the Google icon and a URL would be great. But that option is not available in the Social Icons block in the TagDiv editor.
Here’s the link to our site: https://myneworleans.com/
And here’s the link to our property on Google News: https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMPW5tgswgtXNAw?ceid=US:en&oc=3
This is an important addition that nearly all publishers would want and need. And you can see that it functions like a social media property in that we actually have followers. 🙂
Thanks in advance for any ideas … and I’m hoping you can include this in an upcoming update to the Newspaper theme / TagDiv editor.
Cheers!
–Eric Shanfelt
Also, and I’m not sure if this is related, but even though I’m using the latest version of WordPress I’m still seeing this issue in Jquery Migrate Helper.
jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered
This page generated the following warnings:
https://www.pbctoday.co.uk/news/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated
Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If that is the case, then you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in your warnings to update it.
Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!

Hello,
To have the automatic updates option, you had to have version 10.3.1 and from version 10.3.2 you could use this option -> https://tagdiv.com/introduction-to-newspaper-theme-automatic-updates/
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Any update on this?

Hello,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/update-required-newspaper-12-1-1-brings-extra-security/
Disable the lazy load animation from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello, Anamaria, may I know whether u are helping me with this case .^^ I really need your Help.
I think this issue is related to theme updated and it crash with tagDiv Composer Plugins.
While i update theme and activite tagDiv plugins, my website said ” There has been a critical error on this website” i have already contacted Bluehost, they have looked into this situation and said that my theme provider can help me solve this.
Million thanks for your help^^
We updated to the newest version of the newspaper theme and the post option on the top of the post page to select a single cloud template is no longer there thus allowing us not to have that particular post to that cloud template.
Help!!!
Hello
We have several websites with spam issues.
They all have your plugin and as soon as we desactivate and delete it disappear.
See this website with the plugin still on : https://www.gite-de-la-ferme-du-chaineau.com/
This website on which we desactivated it : https://www.primopub.fr/
Can you help us with this issue ?
The theme is NewsMag on both and we did their last update.
Thanks a lot,
—
Clotilde Lucaroni
In the next theme update there will be a theme option to use that code or not.
Please show me where to find the ‘option to use that code or not’ so i can turn it off
I found a solution, which the image shows. For others that might have the same issue – the featured video thumbnail requires you to use a prebuilt template for the content area of posts. This is explained in the documentation. However, after adding a template, my post thumbnail still was not working. I removed the featured video, updated the page, added back the featured video, updated again, and it worked. Seems the featured video won’t pull a thumbnail unless you add it after applying a template.
Hello @satyajit3097 !
This is not possible in mobile theme + amp, only if you’ll use the responsive version.
Basically, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

Make sure you do not use Mobile theme plugin, if you use the mobile option 1 or 2.
