Hello,
Normally a theme update should not affect the theme configurations, but just in case before any theme update be sure that you have a full backup for the website.
Thank you!
Hi,
What you can try is to disable all plugins and keep only the theme plugins. If the problem with the is still persisting, then it can also be from some settings on the host/server. In this case will be easier to update the theme plugins manually. Go to your themeforest account, download the theme package, unzip it and install the theme plugins from there.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m glad that the cache problem was resolve.
I hope that the developers from Yoast plugin to find a solution for the coming plugin update.
Thank you!
Hi,
What you can do for the mobile is to use the mobile theme plugin or the mobile page template and create mobile pages and mobile cloud templates.
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Thanks for that Anamaria,
Could you please send me the full code to replace the old one. I tried target="_blank" and it did not work.
Would it be possible to make all Via and Source links open target="_blank" in your next update? Most sites work that way.
Thanks again
Sam
Hi, if I update the theme, will my existing theme configurations persist?
As for cloud templates, I’m using them in header, footer, homepage, 404, single, category, author, date, search and tag. If I remove any of them, the design consistency will be lost.
Hello,
We’re trying to update one of our client’s website but when we proceed to the update of the Newspaper theme (so including the tagDiv plugins), we got an ajax error on all tagDiv plugins.
The error message doesn’t give any further information about the issue.
The theme is registered correctly.
Would you be able to help us on that please ?
Here’s the website URL : https://tribumedias.be/
And the WordPress status following.
Note that we restored a recent backup because trying to update breaks the site design etc.
Thanks and have a great day.

Yes last theme version update. E-mail sending.
Hi chico-2, if you update the theme to 11.5.1 the number of duplicate queries is the same?
Also, this https://imgur.com/a/40NCbse is related to the cloud templates, do you have many cloud templates? You should keep only those that you are using.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m glad you resolve it.
In the next update, more options will be introduced.
Have a great day!
Hi,
Unfortunately for the mobile page category template there is a problem that it is way in 11.5 and 11.5.1 is not working.
If you want you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and we can set the fix in the theme until to the coming theme update that will fix the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m glad that you obtain good results.
Also, thank you for your suggestion, I will ask my colleagues to update the documentation with the plugin that you mentioned.
Thank you!
Hello,
This option will be added in the next update.
I appreciate your understanding!
Hello,
An option to lock a page will be added in the next update.
Thank you!
Every theme i’ve used, includes an update to the Slider Panel each time a Post is updated in WP Admin. The LATEST Post populates to the Front of the Slider Panel. Can someone alert me to where this feature is located in TagDiv Newspaper Theme? Thanks!
I’ve been getting this error for about 3 hours. My updates were not fully edited.
I update in last days apache for 7.4 to 8.1, and now have warnings in error_log.
[17-Sep-2022 11:00:02 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key “SCRIPT_FILENAME” in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_main.php on line 140

Thanks,
No need to reply, thank you! I saw in an older post that you are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in the next update.
Regards!
I have read the instructions you sent. So if I want to update Cache AMP I just use the Cache URL request:https://phongduy-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/phongduy.com/exampleUrl/?amp
Example: https://phongduy-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/phongduy.com/binance-coin-bnb-la-gi/?amp
Is that right?
Thanks for your support Calin.
Hi, done. Unfortunately no luck. When trying to edit one of the pages with tagdiv composer, I get the same error before the update. “Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
In documentation, unless it has updated, I see in the theme panel I should be able to see Featured Image section in the Post section.
I don’t see anything though.
In theme panel under Post settings there is nothing about featured image. Has this changed or moved somewhere?
Thank you
Hi,
This is most likely due to the fact that only the theme was not updated, the WordPress was.
Because you had a very old version, you must also install tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Standard pack, this should bring back the layout of the site.
Also check the php version, for example php v7.4 would be ok.
In case that you have a child theme, please disable it and set the main theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
We are using on our website an old newspaper theme (v9.1) that suddenly stopped working.
website is https://www.calibar.ro/
We tried to update to the latest newspaper theme, update all plugins, but everything is still broken. The pages were built in 2018, wordpress got updated, php version also probably.
Not sure how we can restore our content built with newspaper theme’s old plugin, and would really appreciate some help.
Thank you.
@bettina Thanks, understood how to edit those archive pages.
Now please check how the title is missing from those stories, a quick fix from the Newspaper theme could solve that issue in the next update.
I received this form the host:
It’s possible that the theme itself is clean but one of its files has been infected within just this package. There are several reasons a website can become infected, with the most common being outdated or insecure plugins and themes.
I’ve run a scan and this is coming back as clean. Checking the latest scan showing as infected, it looks like the file in question is at:
/home/sites/14a/8/8d3f08f670/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/wp-admin/external/wpalchemy/MetaBox.php
I’ve checked this over for you and it doesn’t appear to be currently infected, so it’s possible that this was a false-positive or that the infection has been overwritten during an update. You may wish to send the contents of this file to the theme developers.
If you see further infection warnings, please let us know and we can have our malware specialist manually check this over to confirm if the warning is legitimate for you.
I hope that makes sense. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
