Does that setting get lost often on updates?
I haven’t posted to my website (www.securitiesoperations.com) in a few months. When I went to post today, the media library was empty (I had over a hundred jpg images there) and when I try to upload images to the library, the library still remains empty. I have already updated the theme to the latest Newspaper version, 10.3.9.1.
Any suggestions?

First of all, please make sure you have a backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.

Also, try to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please also check the page for special characters and remove them if they exists.

Currently using 10.3.9.1 of the theme with all necessary plugins activated and updated. It seems like the issue is with the td composer plugin. When its deactivated you can see the files in the media library, but of course it breaks the website.
Can the plugin be updated somehow? Or does there need to be a completely new install?

I just purchased the Newspaper theme and tried installing it on a fully updated WP (looking to replace Divi/Extra), but the installation failed with the error message “The pack could not be installed. The theme is missing the style sheet style.css” (roughly translated from the error message in Norwegian).
What do I need to do?

That was a design mistake. Isn’t php memory limit is wp_memory_limit and usually this option is set in wp-config.php
This design issue will be fixed in the next theme update.

May not appear if you have an older version of the theme. Please check if you use the last version WordPress 5.6 with a last theme version Newspaper 10.3.9.1
If you need to make an update, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then try to see if it appears.

I just tested, and that problem doesn’t appear.
Please deactivate and delete the tagDiv Composer and re-install it from Newspaper plugins.
Also, make sure you have updated according to our guide => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and that the files have been replaced correctly, not overwritten.

Wheter Twitter and You tube is ok.
On the page=td_theme_welcome is says:
PHP Version 7.4.14 (set by host system)
PHP Memory Limit 256 MB (set in wp-config.php by me)
PHP Execution Time 49000 (set in .user.ini by me)
PHP Max Input Vars 4900 (set in .user.ini by me)
However, if I check phpinfo() from a PHP file it says:
memory_limit 128M
I do have a setting in wp-config.php:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’,’256M’);
So this seems to be a bug in the Newspaper theme.
It appears that I have to create a .user.ini file and put it in the root folder of the server. In this file I have the statement:
memory_limit = 256M
so now I think both PHP _and_ WordPress really have a 256MB limit.
Maybe the td_theme_welcome page should be updated to reflect the lowest of the two? Anyway, to claim that the PHP memory limit is 256MB when it is 128MB seems incorrect.

Hello, I updated to the new newspaper theme (10.3.9.1), so that I could edit my contact address in the footer and remove something on the home page, actually, I paid someone to do this and he updated and updated the plugins. The site is fine, however, my previous mobile view/menu is now broken. I want it corrected to the previous mobile view layout. Anyone out there that can help me with this? Lost. I use WordPress. We are working to change the theme on a site with over 8,500 posts where the last update of the current theme was made 4 years ago. For this reason we wanted to do a detailed test of the theme change. We cloned the site on a local environment and made the necessary adjustments. After that we set up a staging environment in which the client can see the changes before making the change on the live site.
Everything is fine except for a style difference for the title and category on the home page in TagDiv Composer. All settings are the same, but the difference persists and we can’t find the cause. Can you help us, please?

Normally, Facebook and Youtube will work if you reinstall the social counter plugin and your theme update is done. Make sure it is reinstalled properly from Newspaper plugins and that all the ID’s are inserted correctly.

Also, if the problem persists and you use a plugin cache, then clear all cache and check the results.
