If you want to use the mobile page for mobile version, please disable the mobile theme plugin (and this layout https://prnt.sc/vubv5k will be change with the one that you set).
The Mobile Theme this plugin is making the theme faster, but the layout and content will be different for pages.

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

I installed the Newspaper theme recently and have noticed that I cannot add or edit pages using the tagdiv composer. The plugin shows as installed/active in my plugins but my Theme Panel says that it is outdated and the update fails every time. Other plugins such as Cloud Library, Social encounter and Standard Pack.

When I try to copy Sidebar widgets from the homepage (https://i.imgur.com/hhfkqfm.png) to a sidebar in a template (https://i.imgur.com/tKHVU5y.png), menu icons disappear.
How can I solve this problem?
After update child theme, functions.php from “td-standard-pack” is making problems.
Thanks for the reply. I never got a 403 or 404 error. The thing would just keep spinning while I went and made a meal or took a shower or did something else. I did put WordFence into learning mode which changed nothing.
I did update with a new server and added a firewall a few weeks ago which is when the problem started. I just got off the phone with GoDaddy. Evidently there is a problem with the new firewall because the tech person on the phone was not able to disable the firewall. I had the same problem. When I click disable in my hosting firewall menu it still shows the firewall active.
So I initiated a ticket at GoDaddy which can take about 72 hours to address the firewall problem and the admin-ajax.php request. I will let you know the outcome.
Hi all,
I have Newspaper updated to the last version. When I go to the theme panel no matter what I update but when I hit “Save settings” the loader appears, then the check mark but when I refresh the page the settings are back to the previous state.
The request ends with a 200 OK code and a response of 0. I also tried deleting the browser cache, the hosting cache and the plugins cache and none of that worked 🙁
Any suggestions?

Currently, I am using Newspaper 10.3 Theme. Can I just buy a new license to update it to 10.3.2 ?
Or if I install the new theme, will I have to completely rebuild the website? In otherwords,
I would like to update from 10.3 to 10.3.2 without having to do anything to the design of the website.
Is this a “turn-key” update so to speak, or will this update disrupt the current build of the website?
ALSO: Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the new WordPress 5.6 update?

So, I am just getting around to the new update on my page that was done automatically. Well, the whole website is completely messed up now. The heading is gone, the blog page is a complete disaster, a lot of my homepage elements are gone. So how do I get it all back?
I already regenerated my thumbnails but there were apparently errors in that process.
I activated all the newspaper plugins required.
I did everything I was supposed to do and my website is ruined.

Hi Benedict Paramanand, for the moment we recommend to not update the php to v8, after the WordPress will be update we’ll make a theme update and then is possible that the theme to be compatible but I can not say for sure until then.
I’m sure that our developers will test the WP and php version with our theme and provide theme updated for compatibility, unfortunately I can not estimate a date for this.

Hi Lacasito70, this problem seems to be quite strange, because when you reinstall the theme, the posts and pages are saved in database and are not affected, also when you change the content for pages, you keep the old page and you change only the content, as results you’ll update the page, you do not publish a new one. Also this became more strange when you said that only few pages are now indexed.
Now I see that your page is displaying in google results -> https://prnt.sc/vu80eo and the page is indexed -> https://prnt.sc/vu80yq also on homepage I can not find now any noindex element -> https://prnt.sc/vu82ay. As long this option is disable https://prnt.sc/vu82xl and you do not have set individual option for noindex -> https://prnt.sc/vu868t then should be no problems. Unfortunately I can not say what happen there, I also asked a developer from our team to see what can be the problem, now I waiting for his answer.

Hi Arkadiusz, if you are using the newest WordPress please make sure that you are using the newest Newspaper theme too, now the last version is 10.3.8, using this version you should not have those problems.
If you need to make a theme update, please make first a full backup to database and website.

Did you not made a theme backup before theme update? Also to have the same design you need to make sure that the theme plugins are updated and activate (I think that this is the problem you are facing).
Make sure that there is no plugin or security module that is interfering with the theme plugins when you try to updated them an make sure that the theme requirements are set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
