all plugins are up to date – and updated theme to the latest version 12.7 – No Change
Hello, an error message saying “Your license of Newspaper Theme is not assigned on this website!” has been showing to users with non-administrator rights after the theme was updated to 12.7
No such error shows for the administrator and in license panel too, the concerned domain shows ‘active’.
Could this be a harmless bug or some misconfiguration?
Do we have to update the entire theme to update this? I don’t see an update available in the plugins.
Thanks for your video – it helped me find where to change the global font setting itself —
then as you place each element – you just select global font 1,2, or 3 – and that global font will change later – if you update the main global font setting.
Otherwise – as to why there are many places – – it appears that it is for the custom option of using different fonts where you want to use them – if not a global font.

1. Yes. We didn’t test any other free plugin. But I hope we will update it very soon.
2. From there, you can assign the key to your current domain by clicking assign.

4. You can use a license key for one single product(website). For the other domains/sub-domains, please consider buying another license key. There are two places for a license: one for staging and the other for the live version of your product/sub-domain/website. If you want to move the theme to another website or change domain/migrate, you’ll need to reset the license key from that website: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zt12bpyX and remove the theme (delete); in this way, the license will be available for the new website, and you can use the theme without any problems.

1) The plugin mentioned in the forum link has been closed more than a year back. Searched many but all are paid. Few have free option but not sure how much they will work. If you come across any, please update.
2) There is a option in Newspaper theme as “My License”. There it shows option to Assign/UnAssign. What exactly is it?
3) We have installed them on the primary domain and then on sub-domain. Does is makes any difference where we install first?
4) On how many sub-domains can we install the Newspaper theme? We have installed on primary domain and 1 sub-domain. Is there any limit?

I’m reaching out to you after installing update 12.7, which I found to be absolutely nonsensical. We previously used the Single Background Image tool on our website to place the images we needed. Without any prior notice or information about an alternative or what was new in this update, you have removed this option altogether.
I kindly ask you to restore it as it was, because having access to this tool is absolutely ESSENTIAL for our work.
If restoring it is not possible, please tell us how images are supposed to be placed now, because when using the Image Box option — with the same dimensions and resolution we used before — the new images appear completely pixelated, which is extremely frustrating.
Please help us find a solution to this very serious issue.

Disabled Elementor. The only way this is working with my current content and TagDiv composer is if I add a row to the header with page_title short code.
The pages missing Titles now do show them using the Header. The only draw back is articles double up on the Page titles
So after messing around with TagDiv composer for hours, it looks like I will have to edit thousands of pages and add the title short code to each page to display its title. This is just not feasible.
I don’t understand why other themes like WordPress default themes, Fuel Themes, Elementor Themes just work and show the page titles as intended without adding any short code to pages.
Anyways if you want to look at the example link above feel free, the page title is shown twice.
But on the pages missing titles previously it now displays but only in the header.
Hopefully you have a fix as I am at the end of my rope.

While I await an update on this, I have now read all the relevant documentation on the tabbed content and favourites, and I have not been able to get clarity on this, so I look forward to hearing back. In the meantime, I have a further question relating to newsletter sign up forms and also embedding other subscription forms. Can this be done? From looking around the theme template and the editing composer, it doesn’t seem possible to embed anything else if you are not using Mailchimp. I am using Leadpages and Active Campaign, so any advice relating to these would be great. Like is it possible to have a button click direct the reader to an external URL?

Go to Settings → General.
Change the Site Title and Tagline.
Click Save Changes.
Also, you can use a plugin like Yoast Seo and follow the steps
Go to WordPress Dashboard → SEO → Search Appearance.
Under the General tab, update the Title Separator and check how the title is structured.
Go to the Content Types tab and modify the Title Template for pages, posts, etc.
If you want to change it for the homepage, go to SEO → Search Appearance → General → Homepage & Frontpage Title and update it.

Unfortunately, the live search is not working at the moment. We will fix it in the next update. Unfortunately, I have no ETA right now.
Please edit the search page with the tagdiv Composer, click on that block, and check the settings, or use a flex block instead with no offset value or add a Flex Block with the filter Search: Current Search and check if it works.

I’m currently experiencing a persistent warning on my WordPress site related to the Newspaper theme and its associated plugins. The issue is as follows:
Warning: Undefined variable $counter in /wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_config.php on line 63662
This warning is displayed repeatedly on the screen, especially when using the tagDiv Composer, making it difficult to manage content.
Here are some details:
• WordPress, Newspaper theme, and all plugins are fully up to date.
• I have already set WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY to false in my wp-config.php, but the warning still appears.
• I suspect that $counter is used without being initialized in the tdb_config.php file.
Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue, or provide a fixed update for the plugin?
