You need to make first a full backup to the theme and database, after that you can make the update, if something is going wrong, you can restore the backup to for database and theme.

You can try v10.3.4 but first:
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
If there is still a problem, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme, cache plugin or CDN, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
The update option was added in our theme from v10.3.1 that is way that is the last version available.

Hi Guys,Recently i am facing this issue that when we switch the theme from newspaper to someother feeds are properly getting updated but when we revert it back to the newspaper theme feeds are properly not getting update, Please go through my site https://www.toptamilnews.com/category/thamizhagam/ this is my category page while we compare this to with feeds https://www.toptamilnews.com/category/thamizhagam/feed/ feeds are updating 50 to 60 minutes and other category are not at all feeds are updating it stuck with old post feed, kindly do the needfull as soon as possible.

As mentioned above. We are aware of this issue. But until this moment this does not seem to behave the same way on all the users. If you want we can investigate on your website to find a quick fix before an update with a fix is released. If now you can follow our update changelog to see when this will be fixed.

The website procedure should have no effect over your changes. But please note that there can appear plugin conflicts / file incompatibility ( not necesary from the theme ). For this we recommend you to create a full backup first. And then start updating the theme. I don’t think that you will encounter any issues if you follow our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

I am trying to update the theme, My theme was active when I go to update theme there is written please active your theme one I click on activation button I got the following error.

I’ve tried clearing the cache before without any luck. I tried doing that on both Firefox and Chrome.
Within the Newspaper settings-> Post settings-> General post settings, I’ve tried disabling and then re-enabling the (General modal image) element, to see if that might “correct” the DB. No luck with that.
For Newspaper, I am now running 10.3.4. All plugins have been updated.
The DB must be getting updated properly because when I enable the (General modal image) element, it stays enabled when I load the page again.
Any ideas for me on how I can debug this issue?
I just updated and still getting the notification to update the theme via WP-admin/update-core.
I’m using the latest version, how to remove the notification?
I tried clearing the cache.
I was running Newspaper 10.3.1 and everything was working great.
I then tried to upgrade to 10.3.2 but noticed that the hamburger menu here:

Would not work. Tried from Mobile and also from Android TV.
So I downgraded to 10.3.1 and everything worked again.
I saw a new update today to 10.3.4 so I thought I would try that and see if the hamburger menu issue was fixed. However, after the upgrade, the issue remains.
I can’t seem to downgrade to 10.3.1 any more?
