Unfortunately there is a problem with the new option add in theme panel for disable the schema article, this interfere with preview draft, in order to fix this problem you’ll need to make some changes in theme file or deactivate the schema articles from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0E3IucACC You will have to check that in order to deactivate the schema, this issue will be fixed in the next update.

How can i customize settings in the newspaper theme to display the last updated date instead of published date in Google Search?

Hi everyone,
I am having a problem viewing an update I did to the header.php file. I viewed the file on the server via an FTP program and the update is there, but I’m not seeing it live on the website, so not sure where WordPress is grabbing the files from. I tried a cache plugin, and another cache plugin, but both are not allowing the updated header.php file to show. I am hosting on GoDaddy if that helps. Please let me know if you have run in to this issue or know how to fix it, it’s severally delaying the build of my website. Thank you!

While modifying the different templates in the tagDiv Cloud Library, I’ve found out that the text configurator of Smart List Template 5 does not fully work. Apparently I can only adjust the Title text and Description text columns.

Since all other templates were fully customizable, this seems to be a bug. Do you have a solution for this problem?
I’ve already downloaded the template again (and have been updated to the latest version of Newspaper) but unfortunately the issue remains.

I am unable to install the update for Newspaper 9. Via WordPress I get an error that the CSS file is missing and via Envato Plugin I am told: The item cannot be downloaded.
Is there a workaround?
I just realised that I was using a non licenced version of newsmag theme and I have now purchased a licence from themeforest.
Is there a way I can update my current theme (non-licenced) to the new one without disturbing the site and its contents?
Update: The issue with cpu and ram fixed.
The problem is with main language AMP format. It perferctly applies for secondary language but not the main language..Please see the console comparison. Left side is ok! But not the right side

Now I found, the loop-single.php from tagdiv composer is the only source.
The file in the theme and the child theme are not working event the one in tagdiv composer is lost.
I suggest highlight this behavior in somewhere your document, and, update your theme and plugin to follow the child theme working rule.

I used to get an email from the support or when there was an update for the theme. Even when I check the box to be notified via email, I don’t receive anything.

You are using a quite old theme version, I think that the best solution will be to make a copy of your website on subdomain and make there the update, also if you are using child theme, please deactivate it, also make sure that you are using the latest version of theme, Newspaper 10.2 with the latest version of WordPress and you sett all the theme requirements as in our guide.

Also Now we recommend to use tagDiv Composer, this is the theme builder also you can choose new templates from tagDiv Cloud Library.
The Visual Composer is still include in our theme ( it’s named now WPBakery ) this can be found inside the package get from themeforest, unzip it and look in plugins folder -> https://i.imgur.com/aVpLe6i.png unfortunately in Newspaper X there are some issues between theme builder and WPBakery, therefore we recommend to use the tagDiv Composer.

I use newspaper 7 with a child theme. I tried updating to the latest theme and site would not load up. I restored it to an older version.
Issues : I can not see the elements grid from Visual Composer on first page. I tried to add more elements with visual composer ( ad 4) and nothing changes. I can not update the visual composer as it does not come with the theme anymore?
What do you suggest I do to make it functional and be able to add elements visually? which visual editor should i use? also the php needs to be updated it seems like and not sure how to do it.

Maybe I’m not right but I do not think that there is a premium theme that have a grate score/speed only installing it on your website without making some optimizations on the website. Indeed there can be some difference that can depend on the theme loading if the theme need to load more css.
