We have been developing our site on local however after updating to 9.7.3 with all requsted plugins, we can no longer import templates. We can still edit pages with TD composer but can’t import from the cloud library.

Since the last update there have been reports of a conflict between WP Bakery and tagDiv Composer, so in order to have a fully functional page you will have to disable the WP Bakery plugin.
If it is a MUST for you to have WP Bakery plugin please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access and cPanel login if possible so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Hi, we encountered errors every time we install the plugins associated with the Newspaper theme. I talked with the hosting support and this is what he told me.
“It appears that the WordPress plugin ‘td-composer’ was causing issues with the website and was preventing it to load.
I’d advise you to try and update the plugin or find an alternative plugin for it.”
So now they’ve deactivated the plugins just so I can go inside WordPress.
How do I address this issue?

I’ve just updated from Newspaper Version: 9.7.2 to 9.7.3 and everything is wiped out and I’m left with this:
I’ve reverted back now but am dreading updating again.
This is not the first time, it seems to be every time.
When it this going to be stable?

I have updated the wordpress, and after updation wpbakery visual composer not working. I have installed classic editor and disable gutenburg, but still wpbakery is not showing element on wordpress pages.
It’s been two weeks now, since 9.7.3 has been released with the severe error, that single templates can’t be used with child themes. A fix was announced “as soon as possible”, but there is still no update or fix for that really bad bug. Any news here? It’s extremely urgent to be able to use templates again!

Apparently i’m being told that the WP Bakery/Visual Composer plugin isn’t working because an update to the your theme template (tagdiv newsmag). Here is what they said…
“The theme at your end seems to be using some customisation code to modify the page builder.”
Can you please assist – this is kinda urgent. The site was due to go live a couple of days ago.

Hi. I updated to version 9.7.3, but I can not add widgets areas from tagdiv. Even disappear if I make some adjustment to the look and feel of the home of the site, and I had to restore a previous copy. My attachment one shows how the widget is now displayed with the update, the second attachment indicates that I see that strange black icon that I had not seen before. In addition, the block to add widgets is not listed in tagdiv elements. Could you please help me? Thank you.

What theme version was the website using before you updated? I would suggest as a first step to reinstall the theme by FTP – https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Remove the current theme and upload it again. There were changes in the theme file structure, it is better to update by FTP in this case.
Also if you use an older PHP version, try to update to version 7, 7.1 or 7.2 for example. Check the wp-memory as well, set it to 256M if possible – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/

The loop single files are now in the composer plugin (after the recent updates)

Before update 9.7 the single files were in the theme, which made it possible to modify them in a child theme. But now they are in the composer plugin, so that will not work anymore.
What exactly would you like to modify, and to what result? maybe there is a different way of doing it. Let me know.

Update: I meant to write “Edit with TD Composer” doesn’t work. It works when I install a demo website WITH content. When I install a demo website WITHOUT content I don’t see “Edit with TD Composer” anywhere on the top bar.
