Unfortunately we can not tests all plugins that exist, each user use different plugins, some of theme are working properly with our theme some of theme create bugs.conflicts, unfortunately, we do not have a testers team to tests more plugins and provide a fix for each of them, sorry!
For each update that we make, our theme developer tests the plugins from our tested list to check the compatibility with our theme, unfortunately the can not test each plugins that our customer are using, sorry!
What I can do is to note the Memberpress plugin on our suggestions list for testing.

I’ve downloaded Newspaper version 9.77 and want to update, as I’m currently running version 9.2.2. The update option is not showing from within my WordPress dashboard. I received the notification via email but don’t see it in my WordPress dashboard, and don’t know how to update manually. Please advise. Thanks
i updated to 9.7 then 9.7.1 and 9.7.2
From 9.7 i cannot update plugins from theme panel.
So i have to update them manually everytime which is time consuming.
My site is hosted on wordpress.com.
What is wrong.
Tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing new. i get

@wspeed Best to try by shortcode. Since theme update 9.7 the single template files have been moved in the tagDiv composer plugin – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So the post template files could be modified there directly – http://prntscr.com/ngorqf but not in a child theme anymore, because this means they will have to be remade after each update.
By shortcode you could create/import a cloud post template, place a column text in it (in the location where you want the rating to appear) and enter the plugin shortcode in it

You can also modify them after you import them, or create your own from blank

There is a quick fix you can try before this is fixed by us in a theme update, it is mentioned in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-backend-issue-cannot-modify-header-information-headers-already-sent/ Please update the theme again via FTP way and check the results.

There has been a theme update released today, please try and update the theme. Do it by FTP for example, delete the old theme and upload the new one

Then update all the theme plugins, there should be no problem if you follow these steps. The theme plugins can be updated in Appearance->plugins in bulk

We have fixed this issue on the live package, so please download the theme again from your themeforest account and reinstall it. Please make a full backup before any update like it is recommended.
We are very sorry for inconvenience! We have tried to improve the security on blocks, but it seems that an issue appears with their registration in cache and it was not caught in our tests.

I’m losing my users because of this update

I am unable to download the latest Newspaper update on Envato. I get an error message that the site cannot be reached.
Any help on resolving this issue would be appreciated.
@AntonioGM, you’ll get used to it as with any theme updates with other developers you’ll eventually experience this. Please do your due diligence as a webmaster to backup and test it on your staging environment before pushing it to live. For now, you can roll back any changes you’ve made and if you have the previous theme files.
Hello, I made the update to 9.7.2 and only the home page broke down. What should I do? Please, visit Sidebar at https://www.hardware.info.pl/news – I would like the floating sidebar to have the color eg #cccccc, but as I wrote after going down, the sidebar color disappears.
Same problem, white screen no content and only header showing. Really bummed with these subsequent small updates. You guys should have tested updates intensively before releasing them.
Please do Add new feature i.e Meta tags options like ‘Per page add to head’ WP Plugin provides.
Since that plugin is for free I am fearful for its further existence. BUT if you provide such features to add custom ‘metadata’ for each post and pages of our own wish, Then it would be most fascinating features.
As this is a premium plugin there is no fear of its disappearance. So If possible make that feature available.
Most importantly, if added such features, Make sure previously added metadata should remain in its own position after ‘Theme is updated’. I don’t want to hurt my SEO.
This will also assist you in attracting more buyers to your theme.

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
