1. No, a theme update will not remove the cloud templates you have imported or created. After a theme update, update the cloud library plugin and the templates will be same as before.
2. Why exactly do you believe you will lose everything regarding the homepage? That isn’t supposed to happen. Pages, posts, theme panel settings and others are saved in the website database. Only if something happens with the database there will be a problem.
To be safe it is recommended to make full backups regularly, either with plugins or manually or maybe the hosting has such an option available. There are plenty of tutorials online you can follow and make backups.

Thank you for your effort, however there is something to change and also soon.
Until version 9.5, apart from not displaying the menu in AMP, everything worked fine.
Now to have the AMP pages I am forced to use the classic version that offers the new AMP plugin.
I wonder: what sense does it have to have a nice theme and then show it horribly in Automattic’s AMP? (among other things, it does not even display advertisements)
Some time ago I used another plugin for AMP pages and it was perfectly compatible with our theme, I had tested it up to 9.5 and it worked well (AMP for WP PRO version).
I used it as an alternative to the one provided to the theme because the theme did not show the menu.
I disabled the AMP plugin of the theme and tried to run AMP for WP, but with version 9.6 the administration panel of the site disappears and from error 500, although I have 2 gig of ram dedicated to the php.
So with the upgrade to version 9.6 something now interferes with AMP for WP and creates problems.
From what I read here in the forum I see that many have had and are having problems after the update.
I thank all of you for the kindness and diligence with which you dedicate yourself to solve the problems, but at this point, since for my case I see it unsolvable, can you please tell me how to get back to version 9.5?
I could do it by restoring the backup to 5/6 of March, but this would result in the loss of about 50 new articles published in the meantime.

I was very happy with your theme for years.
But the last update is not a cool things.
New AMP features break all. Nothing shows correctlu as previously.
We deactivated it.
Fact that the plugin extension show nothing on page is a big mistake.
We have to duplicate so many info in all pages, is insane!
You must put a automatic duplicate content when it is activate.
And after could change the mobile content if there awant or not.
+ homepage only showw last articles and when I paste the VC code… it show in front the code!
+ we use for years the plugin UserPro to manage access memberq and there access to some content pages.
Now the profil page don’t show anything in mobile.
So we have to deactivate mobile plugin plugin too!
Really not happy with all the major problems!
Hope you will fix this quickly and properly meaning:
AMP page showing nicely as previously
mobile theme duplicate automaticaly code already existing
possibility to create a specific homepage
possibility to duplicate existing menus for change some few change for the mobile versions
After deactivating the “Yoast SEO” plugin, the RSS Feed updated properly. Not sure if there’s some kind of conflict here, but it could also be unrelated to the Newspaper theme.

Even though it was a tagDiv plugin, it still required the API of the official plugin. The changes came from the official plugin as they limited the theme support in the version we used and instead of updating it, they launched a new version with another, better implementation. They also announced the initial release will shortly become deprecated. This is why we decided to abandon our initial AMP plugin and use the new AMP implementation through the mobile theme. The new version required a specific theme for it as it would not have worked through the standard theme. There was no decision to take, unfortunately. If we have not made this step, soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.

Recently, with Newspaper, the RSS Feed for my website has trouble updating. I have not had trouble accessing the page: https://personacentral.com/feed/
But when it comes to RSS readers subscribed to it, they do not update with new posts properly anymore. When I updated Newspaper to version 9.6 yesterday, the RSS reader suddenly got updated with 3 new posts which had previously been posted, but since then it’s started to not work again.

Please remove all of these, clear all the caches, purge CDN file and also, update the theme via FTP way to the latest version of it which is 4.7. Everything was going good, the previous TagDiv amp plugin was working as expected.
Now with 9.6 release it’s disabled & to use AMP official – Mobile theme is mandatory to be well optimized.
But problem is we’re unable to customize homepage layout, beside some of the features are not working in Mobile Theme
Ex: I’m using WPForms contact form on my website’s various contact pages.
Now all have become invisible in mobile view.
Help to sort out this problem please đ

Since the introduction of the cloud library plugin a few updates ago it is possible. You can import templates designed by us (and modify them if needed) or create your own entirely (with a blank template)
