Hi,
Maybe this guide will help you
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-install-facebook-remarketingretargeting-pixel-in-wordpress/
It mentions that you have to add a code between the head tags, those are located here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/o6bw49TSRO
You could enter the code manually instead of using a plugin. Or use the header script location in the theme panel, this will output the code in the same location
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3Z21r3Pb
The later would be more a proper way, the code will not be remove after a theme update if entered in the theme panel.
Thanks
Hello blmg1,
Notice that we do not recommend the automatic theme update, because the Envato Toolkit it seems to be problematic and might appears some problems. Try to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of WPBakery Page Builder.
Hi there, I purchased the theme last week and it came with this plugin but it is showing above message. what to do now?
Thank you Simon.
After disable almost plugins and enable it one by one, and also update it too.
Finally, TagDiv Composer is working right now.
Hi,
Thank you. Yes, you are right. I did what you said and update envato market plugin, theme, theme’s plugins. But as you can see that we have some problems with the website. You can browse to see what am i talking about. And we can’t access to the theme panel: …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_panel . Customize and edit with tdcomposer buttons are not working also. What should we do to fix those?
Thanks in advance.
I’ve run into an issue while using the TD Composer and adding a Single Image element. The issue I am having is that when I try to add an image using the “Insert by URL” the image fails to load.
So what happens, is that I add the element just fine. When I go to add the actual image is where I run into a problem. If I add the image from the Media Library it’s fine. But, if I try to add the image by Inserting by URL the image loads in the sidebar preview box fine but when you click off to look at the update of the page the element says image failed to load. When you click back on the element again the preview of the image isn’t there and it was just as if I had never put anything there.
Are you not allowed to use the Insert by URL? Does it only work with images from the Media Library?
I had my site administrator look at it and he didn’t find any errors in the logs or anything. So, it’s got us stumped.
I used to use WP Super Cache on my sites, however has too many issues.
Performance on WP Rocket is far better too in my experience.
Anyways back to the issue, it seems odd that grids and blocks on the homepage update but not on other pages on the site.
Hi,
I am having security problems on my website, and Sucuri says it’s because Found outdated tagDiv Theme Newsmag inside: ./wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/td_config.php – Version: 2.3.6 – Please update asap.
My theme has been automatically updated in wordpress, as far as I can tell.
Please advise asap, as my site isn’t functioning.
Thanks.
Hello WakeUpCallProject,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it because I saw that you are not using the latest version of it. Do it via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Some untested plugins used by you might interact with the theme core files and js files which causes a lot of unknown issues. Remove them and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@Edward That is already taken care of, the next update will fix that problem. Thank you however for mentioning it.
Thanks
Hi,
That could happen because of the speed booster plugin, try to deactivate the plugin and check again. The speed booster will move the loading of the plugin resources in the footer, thus this issue may happen.
If you want to keep using the booster and remove this effect, try to remove this line of code from the footer and check the results
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cQNnF9lT2
Sorry for the inconvenience, we will try to make modifications so this does not happen, in a future update.
Thanks
Hello Rok111,
Try to install again the latest version of the theme via FTP way, update all the plugins, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi and thanks for your hint! You’re right the problem was some code in child theme. I’ve updated it, content loads fine now!
Thanks again!
Hi,
Yes, you can. The same update methods will apply, the most recommended is by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
After you update, if you have been using the tagDiv composer and social counter plugin, check if they were updated automatically. If the process failed, update them manually along with other theme plugins you use.
The theme panel settings, pages, posts, code entered in the theme panel custom code sections, these will not be lost (saved in the database). Only modifications or additions made directly in the theme files will be lost (the old theme files will be replaced).
As always please make a backup, just to be safe, and also check the changelog

Hi!
I’m using last theme update and WPBakery Page Builder on a page.
Problem:
If I insert a Single Image with WPBakery Page Builder, this image on the page is displayed stretched.
It is some incompatibility with tagDiv Composer, if I disabled it, no problem.
Can you try to simulate the problem and tell me a solution?
Thanks!
Hi,
That is more like a page which it actually is, not a post. However as of version 8.8 you can now use the tagDiv composer to build/import predefined post templates and other templates
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-8-update-what-s-new/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you could design a post template with parallax images and all the elements that are available in the tagDiv composer at the moment.
Thanks
Hi,
Those are a lot of errors, I see the some of them point to the child theme so make sure you disable that. I believe you made modifications to loop single files, in the child theme, those may not work with the latest theme version. Disable it and update again by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Update all theme plugins if needed (tagDiv composer and social counter should update automatically but sometimes it fails)
After you update don’t make any modifications to theme files, check if the problem is solved.
Also please review the updated theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your suggestions. They are noted and we will keep track and see where can we improve as you already know, we try to improve on every update and we will continue to do so from now on.
*The amp template was implemented according to the current standards. It is the exact same implementation made by Yoast for example: https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/amp/
As you can see there is no menu on their website as well. But we will consider implementing this into our themes as this request becomes more and more popular.
*We will also look into the metas issue and figure out why this happens and if we find an implementation that needs changing, we will do so in future releases. I have added this to our list and passed this information to our development team for investigating.
Thank you!
Hi!
I’m trying to updated an existing site from version 8.1 to 8.8.1 without success. Everything loads fine in v8.1. As soon as I use the new theme none of the posts have any content (td-post-content ist empty).
– I tried to reset everything via theme panel
– I disabled all plugins
– only disabled td-composer
– installed Demo content
Nothing helped.
Last thing I did was enabling wp debug which displays the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_featured_image_copyright() in /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/includes/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php:166 Stack trace: #0 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/loop-single.php(47): td_module_single_base->get_image('td_696x0') #1 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-includes/template.php(688): require_once('/usr/www/users/...') #2 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-includes/template.php(647): load_template('/usr/www/users/...', true) #3 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/single.php(28): locate_template('loop-single.php', true) #4 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-includes/template-loader.php(74): include('/usr/www/users/...') #5 /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once('/usr/www/users/...') #6 /usr/www/users/testsd/index.php(17): require('/usr/www/users/...') #7 {main} thrown in /usr/www/users/testsd/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/includes/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php on line 166
Do you have any clue why this happens?
Hello!
First of all, I want to clarify that I am very happy with this theme and its technical support. There’s always help, new features, updates , etc – it’s just great.
But some things can be better (in my opinion). This is a constructive criticism, just to provide some interesting ideas. Please do not take this post as an attack, but rather, personal suggestions.
AMP: AMP currently accounts for a large percentage of traffic on my website. I’ve consulted with fellow webmasters, and everyone thinks AMP is a big part of the future. Everyone, absolutely everyone who uses it, receives a lot of traffic through AMP.The tagdiv AMP plugin is correct, does not cause errors, supports adsense, analytics…. in short, is functional. But…. it lacks something super important and essential: A Menu.
Please enable the option to add a menu to your new AMP plugin update, it is really necessary. Any other idea that helps to “call to action” or “keep the reader active” is welcome.
Structured data: Yes, I am aware that the theme has all the structured data. But it’s not good for google to misinterpret them. Yes, the theme is correct, but for some reason it makes google not consider it correct. (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-with-microformats-can-i-repair-this/) It’s not a good idea that I have to add a code to a theme file (function.php) yourself for google to fix this. Please find a way to make it easier, more practical and functional for google in your theme.
And that’s it. Unbelievable? A theme with thousands of settings, and I only have two suggestions 🙂
Thanks for reading me.
Hello WakeUpCallProject,
I have checked your website URL -> https://smallcaps.com.au/announcements/ and the sticky menu bar seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gvPGINbp but also, are times when it does not work. I have checked your console and I saw that you have some js errors which can break the theme functionality. Please remove all of the untested plugins, update the theme to the latest version of it which is 4.4, clear all the caches and check the results. Should works as expected every time.
Thanks for the message!
When I make a new article post it automatically adds it to the home page and category.
However on pages where I want to show that last 6 articles published, it seems to get cached and not appear.
I have caching turned on (WP Rocket) the home page yet it updates the new article to the big grid instantly.
But at the bottom of this page for example where it is supposed to show the latest 6 posts (Block 14) it does not appear until the cache has been cleared:
https://smallcaps.com.au/market-data/
How can I have new posts appear in this Block 14 latest posts without having to clear the cache each time or leave the page uncached?
As mentioned, the home page is fully cached yet updates immediately new articles.
Thanks
Hello Paolo,
Unfortunately, this kind of option does not exist in our theme and we cannot say for sure if this will be implemented or not in future updates, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you use a theme version higher then 8.7.4 it should work. There were changes made by Facebook a while back, also Instagram and Twitter. In the latest theme version and social counter plugin the counter works properly. If you use an older version than that, they will probably not work anymore.
This is a theme update guide if you decide to update
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Follow the steps as mentioned, be sure to update the theme plugins as well. As always make a backup to be safe.
Thanks
Hi,
@opikon From what I can see you are using theme version 8.1.2 currently, please read the replies from above. Basically Instagram will not work with that version, most of the other socials may not work also.
In the latest theme version the Instagram widget works properly, so is the social counter plugin. So it would be required that you update to the latest version of the theme and theme plugins in order to have functioning socials.
Follow the theme update guide and update the theme, also be sure to make a backup as suggested before updating
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
