Hello,

page speed is a very personal implementation for each specific host in particular. I can provide you with a handful of guides to help you on your quest for faster loading speeds:

please use these guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
We also recommend this Cloudflare configuration
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

For speedbooster you can disable the compatibility check like so:

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are referring to pages, note that only pages built with the default WordPress editor will work with AMP. Not pages built with the composer.

If you are referring to posts, the sidebar of the post will not display on AMP. Same as the mobile theme. The post content will be displayed. AMP is all about speed, getting to the content you are looking for.

What video are you referring to exactly? if the post is a video post and it has a featured video it will be displayed in AMP
https://www.screencast.com/t/eONDSUIC

We based the design for AMP to be similar to the Yoast website
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/

Hello rihtak,

We only made tests with the super cache up to this moment, that is why we know there will be no problem with it and we recommend it. There are plenty of theme users that have other caching plugins.
You can also use Cloudflare for more speed improvements. I found some guides you can use for inspiration
https://wpdingo.com/setup-wp-super-cache-cloudflare
https://tutreal.com/wp-super-cache-cloudflare/

Be sure to test the website with online tools, see where you can improve. Using caching and Cloudflare should improve the performance considerably.

Thanks for your understanding!

My website went completely down after using Envato Market to update from version 8.x.x to 9.0.1, as shown in the tutorial below. I have absolutely no access to the website or wp-admin page, claiming “www.speedandpleasure.com is currently unable to handle this request.”.

Is this just a delay before the website goes back up, or has something gone wrong?

How to change the speed of a gif in the template. I have an ads and I have done it with external programs. I open it from my computer with Windows and it takes me the seconds that I put it, but when I upload it to my WordPress it puts me the time that it wants and it does not do it well. Is there a way to modify this problem? Thank you

This is my website so you can see the only ads: https://golsur.com/

Hi,

Note that the speed booster will be deactivated if it detects plugins that are not part of this list
https://www.screencast.com/t/TqHrzrA6y

This check could be disabled and the booster will always be active (this should be attempted first in a testing environment, not live website)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
This measure was implemented because the booster could cause other plugins to not work properly. The plugin is optional, not required.

Thanks

Hello aloysiuspattath,

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=https%3A%2F%2Finsanertech.com%2F&tab=mobile

Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.

One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

Basically, these are the theme requirements

So the description you set for the page does not appear in Google. It should show up eventually, when Google decides to take it into account. You can’t actually control or fix in an instant what Google shows, this takes time.

Maybe try and re-crawl the website to speed it up
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

Also check some online guides, there are plenty of them
https://kb.yoast.com/kb/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/
https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/207958027-The-wrong-information-is-displaying-in-Google-search-results

Regarding this footer text you mention, I could take a look at it or you could maybe provide some more details about it or some screenshots. That will be helpful for a better understanding.

Hi guys,

The newspaper theme has never really had a fast loading speed for me, but until recently my website https://startforart.com is loading up incredibly slow. sometimes it will take 10 seconds of staring at a loading wheel on a white screen until the website shows up.

Can someone walk me through how to speed this loading time up?

Thanks

Hi,

Simply installing the theme does not provide blazing fast loading speeds. Optimizations have to be made in order to improve the loading speed. Start with what the test suggests, fix as many as possible. Search the forum for user recommendations, also guides/tutorials
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Each optimization will contribute to the faster loading of the website. Of course it depends on the hosting as well.

Thanks

Hello kosolrama,

Do you are using the Speed Booster? Remove all of the untested plugins, update the required ones, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, I need to check your website for more investigations.

Thanks for the message!

Hi there all:

I have decided to switch from the old composer (Bakery) to the TagDiv composer which I consider there have more benefits than the Bakery one (overall because of the css minification, speed, updates, bla bla bla…). I am preparing all pages of my website and living them as draft until the final moment come, but i am not sure how to do the final stage (change my old pages to the new ones without loosing all). Do you guys have any video or tutorial about how to do it right??

Thanks in advance 4 any tip

Hi,

For me the website loads quite good, the homepage for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/NfxdBEJiO
Also a post – https://www.screencast.com/t/Gc2LJJPC6i
This is a nice loading speed in my view. The only issue I see is with a failed to load resource
https://www.screencast.com/t/OcnpT6a2Xig
Images could be optimized more to reduce page size, either as mentioned in the guide or maybe by some image optimization plugins.

Thanks

1. Hi. Some URLs in here are showing some b tags in the URL bar when clicked like this one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-%3Cb%3Espeedify%3C/b%3E-your-website/ . Would you correct this? They return a 404 error page.
2. I saw the category templates in td cloud library use a post loop element (with numbered pagination). Does the team plan to integrate it into td composer? thanks

Hi! Can you tell me which content preloading is better when it comes to website loading speed?
Every module has: No preloading, Optimized preloading, Preload All. Which option does what and what are the benefits of enabling one of them? Thanks!
