Hi Anamaria,
Thank you for your support. Is this your mentioned plugin? If yes, it says it run on WooCommerce. My web site does not have WooCommerce.
WooCommerce Multilingual – run WooCommerce with WPML
Best regards,
Hello !
Unfortunately for this we do not have any guides but many users are using WPML plugin. Please note that this is not a officially tested plugin but at the moment it seems to have great results and very small issues which usually got fixed.
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hello,
If you want to have a different language on your website you can use the option for translate from theme panel => https://www.screencast.com/t/hZbZ2EiBG or if want to add the second language, for example, English and Chinese then you must use a multi-language plugin. We recommend WPML plugin, if you don’t want this plugin, there are other free plugins, but are possible to be untested with our theme.
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Thank you!
Hello!
Yes, that is true, but unfortunately, the theme was not tested with the latest version of WPML. That is what I meant.
Sorry for the misunderstanding!
You can contact us by email for a large investigation into your issue and provide wp-admin and Cpanel access.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please note that WPML is used but is not a tested plugin with Newspaper Theme. So, if you have the plugin active, then the composer will generate that errors because they are not compatible.
Thank you!
Hello !
For this I think you will have to contact WPML support. Please note that WPML is used but is not a tested plugin with Newspaper Theme.
Let us know their resolution.
Thank you !
I have shown the error https://prnt.sc/z79bum to the developers of the WPML Multilingual plugin and they tell me that the error comes from td-composer which is the one actually shown in the screenshot, what do I do?
hi i am using wpml plugin with create two language. but newspaper theme system status showing WP multisite enabled : No. how to enable multi-site?
It seems that this WPML Multilingual CMS plugin is the one that generates the error
Hi,
I’m trying to edit translations from; Theme panel > TRANSLATIONS > Translations.
After I entered a word/words on a box/boxes and clicked the SAVE SETTINGS button, the loading indicator will never stop.
Here’s some info;
– Newspaper Version: 10.3.9.1
– Using Japanese for default WordPress language
– This happens whether I type alphabetic characters in the box or Japanese characters
– I don’t use WP Super Cache and WPML
Is there any way to solve this?
Thank you!
Errors at elements: 3(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I use the newsletter and WPML together, and when I log on to the newly created language page to modify the theme, I get this error message and I can’t fix it. Is there a way to solve it?
1.Every time I modify the main page, the new Language page can’t be modified because of this problem.
2. If you delete both the main language page and the other language page and recreate it, it will be solved, but if I correct it again, the same problem will occur again.
I wish I could modify each without deleting it, what should I do?
Thank you.
Hello !
This you could achieve using WPML plugin. Newspaper theme does not offer multilingual options at the moment.
Thank you !
Hello.
Is it possible to use a translated version of a Cloud Template for the Header for example?
I have created a template on cloud template to be used as header for all pages, and I also created its translated version in another language, however I can’t set a Cloud Template to be used as header in the translated language. And when I edit the translated version of the Header Cloud Template it also edits the original one.
Is there any way to solve this?
Hi Vlad,
Yes, I confirm that I followed all steps on the guide. Also with WPML support we did a clean install of Newspaper + TagDiv Composer + WPML on a test site and recreated the issue. WPML team at a loss; seems to be a problem with TagDiv Composer. Is there a way I can send you screenshots to demonstrate the problem?
Thanks,
Kaitlin
Hello !
This is indeed a weird issue. Can you confirm that all the steps found in this guide have been followed too? https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/create-multilingual-wordpress-websites-using-the-newspaper-theme-and-wpml/
Thank you !
Hi,
In Newspaper v10.3.3 was add a better support for WPML plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/vAjt3aG.png now you can set the header, footer, category and single template on each language in them panel, for this you need to use the translate for cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Y99kgbB.png in this way on each language you’ll have only the templates made for that language, for example https://i.imgur.com/UJbzFFp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/TWZLxQZ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CjsSkAC.png
You can duplicate a cloud template like this -> https://i.imgur.com/BLYyLc4.png after that you can edit it with tagDiv Composer.
The second method is the classic one using the strings translate, this is more harder -> you need to use the this option -> https://i.imgur.com/59kl17v.png in order to use the string translate, for example for the header -> https://prnt.sc/rumozl and in WPML String -> https://prnt.sc/rumqn5 then you need to set the id of the header you want to be set for that language -> https://i.imgur.com/ghCu54I.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UAgVTC6.png -> https://prnt.sc/rumrbd
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello !
Please make sure that this procedure has been done properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/translate-newspaper-templates-with-wpml/
Let us know the result !
Thank you !
Hi,
I’ve just spent several days with WPML support and they say the issue is on Newspaper’s end, so I’m trying here in hopes you can help. I’m using Newspaper theme with WPML advanced editor, but it does not pick up any headings. Not headings for sub-titles or titles on Hero images, not block headings, not headings (or anything in fact) on icon boxes.
If you look at the back end not using TagDiv composer but rather WordPresses interface, titles appear as a long string of I presume ASCII code rather than as words. Perhaps this is the issue. We’re really at a loss but it’s completely rendering translations impossible.
Thanks,
Kaitlin
Hi,
When I use the cloud single post templates on another language they don’t show up neither on the newspaper theme panel nor on the edit post settings.
How can I copy my post templates to another language?
Thanks

This is a part of WPML plugin.

Hello
How can I translate the tag div gallery with WPML?
https://elcolectivo506.com/edicion-actual/cafe-y-covid/un-viaje-de-48-horas/
Hello !
You can try their suggestion. But you will have to make sure that it does not conflict with Newspaper theme or plugins. Unfortunately this is a conflict between AMP and WPML that is affecting Newspaper.
Let us know the results !
Thank you !
