Hi,

The Menu is covering the whole page momentarily when loading the mobile theme of my website buquero.com, as you can see on the screenshot below.

Is there a way to fix this?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi,

I suggest you try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer to rule out a plugin or plugin conflict that may be causing this and also clear your cache to see if the problem is still there. If you are using WP Super Cache here is a guide to properly configure the plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks

Hi Simion,

I have noticed that the Preload section doesn’t have a Preload dropdown, like the guide shows.

Also, I can’t activate my Visual Composer Plugin because it seems that I do not have any valid license for Visual Composer.

Is this causing the problem? I see that on the Visual Composer there’s an option to disable content elements from “stacking” one on top other on small media screens. But I’m not sure if that causing the menu overlap.

Can you please help me?

Thanks

Hi,

The mobile theme comes with it’s own predefined template for pages, posts optimized for performance and speed and it is fully tested and working properly. I can not replicate your problem so I recomend you follow the advices suggested above and try to deactivate your plugins except Visual composer just as a test and clear your cache and purge cdn files if you use it, to see if the issue is still present. Also check any custom code you may have added to the theme panel or theme files. More information about the mobile theme here in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ When activated you can not use any Visual composer element, because the mobile theme does not use this editor but you can use instead the mobile editor. If you want to display the same elements from desktop on mobile you can disable the mobile theme and use the theme’s responsive design and deactivate the plugin.
Visual composer does not need to be activated, it comes preactivated in the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and is updated with new theme releases. If none of the suggestions above produce any favorable results you can try and reinstall your theme or consider updating to the latest version – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ the theme and it’s plugins.

Thanks

Hi,

I’ve reinstalled the theme using the latest version but I still can see the problem. You mentioned that you can not replicate the problem, I’m using Safari on an iPhone 6S. What browser and device are you using to test it?

Is there anything else that you can do for me to fix this problem?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Will do Christian,

Really frustrating as it seems to the be the only issue I’m having. I’m disabling plugins one by one at the moment to see what it could be.

Christian, Do you use Wordfence Security?

On this occasion, it seemed to be a plugin as suspected, (above the fold) Try and disable that plugin if you have it. Make sure WP Super cache is set up and disable wordfence security as I was having problems with that plugin.

Everything now loads up as it should.

Hi,

@cmarenco
Also make sure you have updated the required plugins along with the theme update – https://www.screencast.com/t/j3MaSQOsJemW from the full theme package you downloaded – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

Thanks

Hi Simon,

I followed Tom’s suggestion and your suggestions but I’m still experiencing the problem on Safari in my iPhone 6S. I’ve updated the theme and the plugins.

What else can I do?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

I see that you have Speed booster on your site, what that does is provide a speed boost by moving the loading of the resources like stylesheet and javascript files in the bottom of the page, while also using the compressed javascript file from the theme, so there could be some visible delays. You should try to optimize your site using the suggestions in this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ or just disable the speed booster plugin.

Thanks

Hi Simion,

You’re right, the Speed Booster plugin is causing the problem.

I’ll follow the suggestions on the link you sent me.

Thanks
