Hi

That is an inline css which cannot be overwritten from outside so you have to edit your posts and either change the value as i’ve indicated above or remove the fluid-width-video-wrapper container which include the videos. Also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again. It may be possible that this container to be added by one of your installed plugins.

Thanks!

Hi

Block 15 use modules mx1 and mx2 to display posts so you have to modify the css corresponding for these modules: http://screencast.com/t/1dS0gS0FZ

Hi

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re added the videos inside a container which have a wrong css property: http://screencast.com/t/9GNDQGhLM Try to change that value with a smaller one, for example 55-60 or remove the container from page structure.

Thanks!

Hi

The theme it’s tested and mobile menu works fine. It can be seen on our demo and on any other site which uses our theme. Also I’ve noticed that you made some changes in theme’s css file: http://screencast.com/t/pPJoGvLQA By default mobile menu have a css property which set a position -80% left for it when it’s hidden. You can see on the screen that on your site it’s -80% right. These changes influence the mobile menu from your site. I already mentioned in my previous replies that if you make any custom modifications you always have to check how they affect theme’s functionality.

Thanks!

Hi

Please make sure that you’re using V 3.2 of Social Counter plugin which is included in V 2.3.7 of the theme. Also try to clear the cache memory then test again.

Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can have a closer look.
Thanks!

Hi

1. If you don’t want a specific network in social counter just leave its filed empty and it won’t be displayed on page.

2. You can open the page in new window from plugin’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/ENwUWtgDu

Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi

By default the theme does not have options which allows you to customize the category page using Visual Composer. This may be possible only by editing the code. Here is an example:
– let’s say that I want to display this mini-page created with VC on Fashion category page: http://screencast.com/t/wdSAoI0Q12
– I can use do_shortcode function on category.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/dNKMq5UyThttp://screencast.com/t/xSpErHrpUhhttp://screencast.com/t/saBfozlYxKthhttp://pastebin.com/YRQExPZi
– the result will be like here: http://screencast.com/t/X4x7L6QHyh

This is just a basic example but you can use it to insert content from Visual Composer on category pages.
Thanks!

Hi

1. The posts are displayed like her: http://www.screencast.com/t/00FGXlRy1LS because of rtl style. I’ve mentioned in my previous replies that the theme does not have support for rtl. You will have to adapt it’s style to rtl in order to have a good looking layout for the site.

2. A clean install means that you don’t touch theme’s code at all. It also means that you don’t use any custom css, js or any untested plugin. Make sure you do a clean install staring from latest wp version to latest theme’s version then test the mobile menu again. Try this on a new sub-domain or on your local computer without any custom code.

Thanks!

Hi

The theme does not have an option to deactivate the mobile design. To achieve that you have to edit the style.css file and remove all code which refers to mobile design.

Hi

I am not sure why this happens so please end us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Hi

That happens because you’re using the following configuration for mega menu: http://screencast.com/t/WivDbYPMJC
To achieve a similar result with this one: http://www.screencast.com/t/UoIKpiR11 you have to set as mega menu a category which have subcategories: http://screencast.com/t/jrGZ0x7Ehttp://screencast.com/t/g1dS0vIukkw

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

Before making any changes to your site make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and to the database also. This is a security measure, just in case something goes wrong when you switch the theme you can always get back to previous version of the site.
We don’t have a standard procedure to migrate the site from another theme to Newsmag. Basically you just install the theme and all site’s layout will be changed. Usually there shouldn’t be issues with this process, however you will have to recreate your sidebars and also if you want to customize the pages this must be done manually.
While you prepare the site to work with Newsmag theme you can put it in maintenance mode using a plugin whit a specific functionality. Like this the visitors won’t see the tests and changes made until the site is ready.

Thanks!

Hi

By default you can’t use Visual Composer on category page. Each category page can be customized from theme panel > categories: http://screencast.com/t/b39J3GUDMl There is a possibility to insert elements from Visual Composer on category page by editing the code. Fore more detail please check these topics where I’ve provided similar solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/show-category-slider-instead-of-big-grid-od-category-pages/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-template-for-category/

I hope this helps.

Hi

After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme, also older version of VC won’t work with it. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at current version available on themeforest, also update Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.

I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

It seems that the server blocks the access to admin-ajax,php file. In some cases the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file. When this it’s requested many times it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. Contact your host provider and let him know about this as he may be able to provide more detail in this regard. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.

Thanks!

Hi

You could try a custom js which append a new css class to each iframe element from the page body. Here you can find some information which may help you in this regard: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11658011/cannot-modify-content-of-iframe-what-is-wronghttp://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-inject-custom-html-and-css-into-an-iframe–net-22826

Hi

I’ve tested the code on my side an it works fine in both child and main theme. In order to have it working the thumbnails must be regenerated.
You can create a new cropping system only by using theme’s api but this is not possible in child theme. You will need to edit main theme’s core files or as an alternative create a plugin which crops the images in a different way.

What you’re trying to do is a custom modification which require good coding skills and the proper knowledge of this process. Keep in mind that we do not offer custom modification, they are not included in support policy.
Support refers at current features included in the theme and helping users to understand how they work. Anything related with extending current functionality of a feature or creating new ones means custom work and falls beyond the support can offer you. Here you can find more detail about support policy: http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy

To customize the theme or change the way some of its features works you will have to proceed with caution and study very carefully how your changes will affect it. Also you will need very good coding skills as our theme is very complex and understanding how code works is not a “walk in a park” job.
If you are not aware of the steps you need to take to achieve your goal my advice is to look for someone which can help you with implementation or hire a freelancer to do it for you.

Thanks for your message!

Hi

You can use each theme license just on one product (website/domain) these terms are set by Envato here – http://themeforest.net/licenses/standardhttp://themeforest.net/licenses/faq They specify that you can use one license for one product (website/domain). You can use it on multiple test sites and on multiple subdomains as a part of the same site-product, for ex. if you use it to create different category styles or different languages with the same content the same environment we have set for our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/

Thanks!

Hi

@darkstarmarina
after WordPress released V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict and older version then 2.3.6 are affected by it. This is also the case for older version Visual Composer. Try to update the theme and the plugin at latest versions available on themeforst then test again.

Thanks!
