If you alter the theme code, it will get replaced. If you add code to the theme panel, it will not get removed. There is a difference in editing a theme php file versus placing code in the theme panel. Php file modification will be replaced.

Sorry but you can only use big grids on a full row and there is no way to limit the number of posts shown. You will have top use another grid. Each big grid is fixed and he layout cannot be altered.

BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

The email is added to wordpress, not the theme. It is not a theme related issue. It is a wp related issue. The theme does not manage email addresses. Please check the users section of wordpress

The newsmag theme does not have an amp plugin yet, so please use the amp plugin made by ‘Automattic’. If you use the newspaper theme though and posted in the wrong form, then please try to update the theme to the latest version and disable and delete your amp plugin. Then install it again from the main theme package you downloaded from envato. Plugins do not update automatically along with the theme.

The overlapping ads in your sidebar come from the 970 px width you add for the content ads. The main content is only 696 px. You cannot fit a 970 px ad in there.

A page builder is required for the proper functionality of the theme. If you disable visual composer you should activate the tagdiv composer and switch to the new page builder. This is recommended as we will be adding new cool features to the tagdiv composer and visual composer will no longer receive new features. it will still remain as an alternative option and we will still provide updates for it but no extra theme specific features.
