No, it’s not the same. Now your grid is there but it has no posts to show. You probably sorted it to show a category that has no posts. In this case the grid will not show up at all. You do not have the message specifying the way to use the grid. Please use the block settings and filter the grid in a way that it can show posts.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Sorry but this is a very complex task you are trying to make and it will require custom modifications in multiple theme files. It is not a simple modification as if it was, our theme would already have this functionality.
We suggest hiring a freelancer to help out in this task if you do not know how to do it.

This is very strange as the update is not present on any of their change logs. We will look into it but we will not be able to provide the new update until the next theme update though as we have to test each version of the plugin with the theme and make the proper adjustments.

We added this message because we realized our users use big grids on a split row a lot. This was never intended. We created the big grids to display properly on a full row, not a split one. We saw lots of sites use them on a split row and the grids do not work properly on 2 columns. The thumbnails are broken and do not show the image as they were supposed to, but this did not seem to be a problem for our users though, I can’t imagine why. The grid is broken on 2 columns. It only works properly on a full row. Please use it on a full row.

Sorry but you will have to be more explicit. I assume you are trying to avoid losing your customization after updating. Unfortunately there is no update proof method to alter the theme files. A child theme is not update proof. If the file you have modified in your child theme gets updated and changed, you will be serving the old code from your child theme when the theme requires the new code to work. In this case you will have to copy over the new file and apply your customization again to your child theme.

The mega menu on newspaper is based on the same functionality as the one on newsmag. Only the style is different. If you could do this on newsmag, you will be able to do it on newspaper as well using the same method. Please provide an example of how you are creating the menu and what exactly does not work.
You can have both a mega menu and a normal menu with sub-menu items as there are no restrictions to onl;y use one or the other.

Sorry but we did not test wpengine’s checker yet. we will improve the php compatibility further in the next theme version as we plan on implementing full php 7.1 compatibility so then there should be no more php errors. We hope we can provide it in the next update though. I cannot promise anything yet.

If you want to remove the theme css (even though it’s not recommended…but since the client asks, the customer knows best right? :)) you will have to remove the woocommerce and bbpress classes from this file: https://www.screencast.com/t/KWlatsLCb8RA
Then you will have to re-save your theme panel settings as the css gets compiled when saving the theme panel. (change a few settings beforehand)

Unfortunately we have not tested this so you will have to get some help from someone code savvy as Chris suggests because we do not have a customization department and time does not allow us to tackle ‘complex’ coding tasks. We try to help out where we can but the customization you are after, we would actually have to make it ourselves and test it out before we provide an answer and as you can imagine this is not doable unless we have a customization department that can work on specific tasks as you require.

Sorry but there is no solution we can provide for your issue. Your issue is with facebook, not the theme. The theme cannot make facebook change it’s rules. This would happen on any theme and any site at all, not just wordpress sites.

Sorry but the category colors are only grabbed on the post itself. The blocks and modules do not have a color change option. It can be changed with css but it will affect all tags at one. Our theme does not have the functionality for the blocks to detect the color of the category and set it as a color tag.
