Hi,
This could happen if you have any custom modifications in place or a plugin conflict. You can try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. ALso if you have any custom modifications, try to revert them to the original form. If you use a child theme please also test this in the main theme to see if files in the child theme are not responsible.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately at the moment there is no option for this. Maybe in a future version we will be able to implement more settings for it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the number of posts displayed is set from wordpress and there is no settings to set a number for particular categories.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the modification cannot be made in the child theme as the plugins cannot work from there and the wp-booster folder does not work from the child theme either. Please make the modification in the main theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
The article inline ad spot behaves exactly as any other ad spot. If an ad works in another ad spot it should work in the inline ad as well. Please make sure you use the proper code and copy all of it. if this is an adsense then simply paste the code in the ad spot. if the code is not adsense, then please use this method: forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Thank you!
Hi,
Our weather widget gets it’s info from here: http://www.openweathermap.org
I;m not sure what ‘Widget over’ is so you will have to provide more details about that.
As for the accordion element, this can be inserted in the sidebar if you add the shortcode in a text element. Create the accordion you want in a dummy page and then simply copy over the shortcode in the sidebar’s text element.
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you try the links in the above replies? Your problem could be related to plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cannot-modify-header-information-2/
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately our theme has no such setting. The only way you can accomplish this is through custom modifications of the theme files. You can follow this topic to see how it can be done: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-post-template-for-one-category/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. his is most likely a plugin that interferes with the css. The gradient you see is the mobile background. It should not be visible on desktop.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no option to chose custom ad sizes for mobile. The ad is set to be responsive and the ad system will deliver the first instance of the ad that can fit inside the container. A custom ad will be as big as the space allows it to be.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked into this and it seems your email went directly into spam and we did not see it there.
I have replied now via email.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Our theme does not add neither http nor https to the site. If you move to ssl, you have to do it properly:
Tip for switching site to https
You need to add the explicit https URL to your wp-config.php file (see the wordpress.org codex/docs on how to edit/customize your wp-config.php file)
Then you will need to do a database search/replace for old/existing images with http://sitename/uploads/image to https://
You can also follow these guides:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
Thank you!
Hi,
The element was created with revolution slider. the slider itself can be found in the main archive you download from themeforest here:http://screencast.com/t/lds23C0bUPsg so you can simply implement it into your page.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a link to your site so we can see this space and inspect it to see where it comes from.
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe the theme install did not go as planned and something might have gone wrong. Please reinstall your theme via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot offer any customization services at the moment. You can hire a freelancer to help out from sites like studio.envato.com

Hi,
We usually do not recommend using the split columns in a 1/2 and 1/2 layout. We recommend using these 3 types: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
I have tested this though on my end but the result is this one: http://screencast.com/t/olwJF76vkPIj
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Maybe you have a conflicting plugin that causes this. Or maybe you have some custom css that changes the layout. Please also check any css code you might have added.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
The category.php file is in the root directory of the theme: http://screencast.com/t/H9xO8obkt The top posts and category templates are found in newspaper/includes/: http://screencast.com/t/Du0wo8G2th6
The loop itself is created in loop.php also in the main directory.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately if you want to filter a specific post or category, you will require the ID. For categories in the latest version (newspaper 7) you can see the id directly in the multiple categories filter so you do not have to access the category list of wp: http://screencast.com/t/rngXhJOiBbsx but for posts unfortunately, you still have to access the post list and get the number from there and add it to the post id field. Unfortunately there is no plugin that can tie into our code as it’s custom made.
Thank you!
Hi,
You do not have to turn it off, just change the setting to learn mode as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/
Thank you!
Hi.
Thank you for pointing this out. I have corrected the mistake. We’re only human after-all 🙂
Have a nice day!
Hi,
Strange that there is no error. Usually if the demo does not load, there will be an error provided to let you know that the process did not complete. Please follow this topic and try a few solutions posted there: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/installing-demo-problem/
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you have the mobile theme installed? If yes, then scroll down a bit to see the second editor. The mobile theme uses a second editor that does not use visual composer.
Let us know if this is the case. If not, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect your back-end
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately we have not tested facebook’s Instant Articles so we cannot say for sure why the gallery does not work. Maybe one of our users can help out in this matter if they tested this further.
Thanks.
Thank you Bryson T for posting this. I’m sure it will help lots of people from our community.
