Please double check your sidebars in the widgets area and make sure you have elements set to them. In rare cases we have heard of WP stripping the sidebars of elements. You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer to rule out a plugin conflict.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the update to version 6 but eventually you will need to update your theme to the latest version as more and more features will not work anymore due to updates to wp or php or plugins so version 4 is getting deprecated slowly but surely. Please allow some time and update your theme. Do it on a testing site (sub-domain) and see how bad the damage will be…It will not be as drastic as you may think. We tried our best to maintain compatibility between version 4 and version 6. You will only need to remove a few widgets from the side-bar, and recreate a few elements in visual composer. I see your language does not use spaces when writing. The theme filters the excerpts by words or by letters. If you have ti set to words and do not use spaces in your content, then the theme will process the whole content as being one word. It uses spaces to count the words. I have checked your website and saw the issue. It seems something is interfering with the css (maybe a plugin). You could try to use this code to adjust it:

I think i see what you mean now, but unfortunately you cannot change this behavior. If there is another category set to the last block, the offset will not work. All the blocks need to have the same filter. If you need to use the offset with different category filters there is no easy solution we can provide for this as the whole offset function needs to be changed/recreated.

The featured image can be as big as you want. The bigger it is, the better quality the thumbnail will be. The featured image has a thumbnail of it’s own so a big picture will not be displayed in it’s full size but ion a thumbnail.
For example on our demo you can see this picture with the 2 girls on the homepage. The image size is pretty big: http://screencast.com/t/qFVF39uU and the theme creates thumbnails for it in every particular case post featured image, module featured image, etc.

When using visual composer on posts, you cannot add content above the article top sharing as the elements will be placed inside the post content which is positioned below the article top sharing. The big grey area comes from the post template you chose (template 3) but even if you use another template, you will still not be able to set a big grid above the top sharing. You will need to alter the theme files for this.

Unfortunately this file will probably get changed in the future but i doubt this specific code/function will be altered so just keeping this function in a separate text file as back-up and simply replacing the function after an update should do the trick.

Unfortunately the theme does not have any options for it so the best approach would be plugins. You need to be careful though as this type of plugins is not tested so you will have to use a bit of trial and error to see which one works best.

I do not know what you mean with the update. The theme is currently at version 6.6.3 and you still have version 4.6.3. We release updates on a regular basis. We will update our theme to be compatible with php 7 but you will need to update your theme in order to use php 7 when the time comes.

Please try to reinstall the theme via ftp and make sure you replace all the files from your old theme. This issue was fixed in the current version so it seems something went wrong with your update or you did not replace all the files. Unfortunately there is no best way to do it. Multiple things can be changed or not work anymore as different themes handle elements differently so it is a very personal process and it is different from one theme to another. You simply need to make the switch and see how it goes and fix issues along the way.

Unfortunately you cannot add it in php because it is already there. It is hidden with css (with display:none) that is why css is the solution to ‘unhide’ it. If you want to alter the theme files to ‘unhide’ it, the best one to modify would be style.css as the menu is hidden there.

The theme only crops images, it does not enlarge/stretch them. The image does not fit the container because it is smaller than the container. You will need to upload bigger images or use the ‘thumbnail upscale’ plugin to stretch images.
