ctoweett 1. Ensure you enable ajax caching for post views in Newspaper>Theme Panel>Post Settings> Ajax view count, then clear your cache (site and browser cache).
2. Open the post in question in the post editor. At the top right corner, expand the “Screen Options” and make the sure the box that says “custom fields” is ticked. Then scroll to the bottom and look for the custom fields dropdown. Where it says “post_views_count” you can insert the number of views you want to the post and then update the post.
ctoweett That’s a good trade-off though you might expect some complaints from those who do not qualify for a refund. Thank you for this info. I will let the two friends use the theme until they are ready to transition to a paid theme.
ctoweett That’s sad coz it was a very good theme and I was using it before I bought Newspaper Theme. If you don’t mind, what will happen to those with premium subscriptions? Or will you transition them to Newspaper or Newsmag?
