Just open the widgets in the Appearance>Customise section and you will see some options with # key to change widget title and background color.

Go to Newspaper>Theme Panel>Background>Mobile menu/search background and remove or change it from there.

@Alex89 I meant you convert the ‘child theme’ folder, not the code folder. @Eishventura your problem is not related to this topic. Post it afresh in the support forum.

Find it in the ‘code’ folder of the theme files you downloaded from the themeforest>downloads section. Then convert the folder into a zip file (I suggest you use WinRar) and upload it through ftp, cpanel or WordPress dashboard and activate it.

A quick check would be to disable all plugins except those that come bundled with the theme. If the problem goes away, enable the plugins one by one to identify the source of the problem. Another option would be to revert to a default theme like twenty seventeen to eliminate any chances that the problem is theme related. (This is just a suggestion. I don’t work here).

@Alin for a moment I thought the changes did not work and thanks to your suggestion on resaving the settings it worked. Thanks

You will have to edit the td_social_icons.php file in Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_social_icons.php (it looks something like this in the beginning http://prntscr.com/ioob5n) and change the order of the icons from there. But you will have to do this every time the theme is updated because the file does not support a child theme. Or you can download the file after editing and confirm if changes have been made in any new update, and upload back into the same directory to replace the one with the theme update if no changes have been made.

Have you enabled post views in theme panel>post settings?

The newsletter element only works on a page, but Tagdiv team says they will adopt it for sidebar widgets in a future update. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/

I was able to implement the same look by editing the post paragraphs using the .td-post content p code. Thanks

Open the page in the editor and edit the slider with td composer and on the filter tab, just change the filter from random to latest.

I would not even touch that code coz I can barely understand it. I got the plugin developer to check on the javascript conflict and he resolved the issue in the PJ News Ticker. Thanks for the assistance though.

Just create a blank page using the default template and call it “Blog’ or whatever you want and it will show all your posts.

Check under theme panel>block settings>thumbs on modules/blocks for the various thumbnails used by the theme.

The Envato plugin may not be the best method to update. There are other more reliable methods
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
By FTP is the most recommended among all of them. Also remember to update the theme plugins as well.

Thanks

Is it possible to introduce the scrolling effect like the one on crypto news demo or will it take too much work? I used PJ News Ticker for a while but removed it for causing conflicts with another plugin.
