Ads at specific locations on AMP shoud be possible by using the Advanceds Ads Plugin by Thomas Meyer. We use it to place the ads on our Site here: Example

Never adapted the AMP thumbnails but it should be possible by adding some custom css to the mobile theme css field within the theme settings. (We changed the whole logo and color for one of our categories even in AMP, Example)
The amout of posts displayed can be set from mobile theme settings.

I have also tried a lot to improve the page speed with the Newspaper theme. Unfortunately I never got beyond 60/80 mobile/desktop. Not even with the mobile theme. The only thing that finally helped me to reach a page speed of 97-100 permanently is AMP (all you need to do is to install the official AMP Plugin and activate AMP in Newspaper Theme). Even completely without optimization a speed of over 90 is possible. There are some limitations but for a “normal” news page it should work quite well. Did I see right that there is still no option for this in Mobile Theme? The prev next smartlist is really bad for SEO because Google indexes only the first page and since Googles Algorithm is based on mobile this should be fixed ASAP.

Just test the different sharing options. None is bringing up the correct domain name “reisebüro.de” in the shared URL. On Desktop the email sharing doesn’t even include an URL.

As you can see on my screenshot (Again my screenshot: https://prnt.sc/qy3epr please draw your attenntion to the comparison between header logo vs single image) it does not look good when added as header logo. In my case the logo bear is completly missing its colors while the placement as single image svg looks normal.

Sorry but on BBC there is no such archive (https://www.screencast.com/t/raelbsHiwO), this seems to be something newspaper theme related. I think you didn’t understand the issue correctly, the problem is not just the parameter “?p=Abonnier”, its the combination of “/page/X?p=Abonnier” which makes this archives visible. And they do appear on Google (https://www.screencast.com/t/jopawbq8lt). Please forward this issue to a developer.

Thanks for your reply. These pages should not exist as they are a strange list of all posts. They are nowhere linked but can be opened by adding. /page/X?p=Abonnier to any Website using your Newspaper Theme. Her is another example: Link This is our site and it has currently 367 of this strange pages. Your site has 17 (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/page/17/?p=Abonnier)

How can I disable this?

But what justifies it, that this font is loaded prior to everything else and blocks the rendering of the site even if it is not used on initial viewport?

are you sure that this is the main font? When I open this font in a woff viewer, I see only social icons (https://www.screencast.com/t/jKAN6PNM)
If it really only contains social icons, how can I delay the load or lazy load the file? (Social Icons are not visible on initial mobile screen)

On mobile, the featured image should be hidden. All posts of this type use the tag “Bildergalerie“, German word for gallery.

Additionally, the image caption font size of all images on mobile smart lists should be like on other normal posts (I don’t understand why it is so enormous big on the mobile smart lists).

I use the plugin “WP Super Cache” which is recommended and compatible, according to Tagdiv.
I think you should make sure that it is actually compatible with the mobile theme, especially if the plugin is set as described here. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

– Featured Twitter Video on AMP
– Featured Facebook Video -> Thumbnail is not generated as a featured image.

Unfortunately, you did misunderstand it. I’m talking about “Featured Video”
(Paste a video link from Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Facebook or Twitter it will be embedded in the post and the thumb used as the featured image of this post.
You need to choose Video Format from above to use Featured Video.)

When pasting social links to this field, the following did not work:
Twitter Video Embed: Not visible on AMP
Facebook Video Embed: No thumbnail at all
(I only tested Twitter, Facebook and YouTube)

what do you mean with “AMP doesn’t have translation settings”? I mean there are some strings not translated (e.g. Search…, No results…, Here are the results for the search:, VIEW ALL RESULTS, etc.) and I can’t find them under Theme translations.
