I’ve talked to a specialist: Those are not standard meta entries but based on this: https://github.com/farinspace/wpalchemy, making it extremely complicated to migrate. So, I would suggest you guys to use a plugin with standard practices for sources and via, else it could become really expensive if you want to switch, customize or something like this.

Thanks
Thank you, mbasche! Hm, most likely a custom script will be needed. I’ll keep you updated.
Hey Lucian,
it’s not findable in the database? You should warn your costumers before using this fields 🙁
Most of the premium advertisers, those who pay the big money for sites with more than 1 million page views a month, demand pages with enough space to advertise (brandgates and such). Actually, there are a lot of big magazines using a narrower template because of this. I had to change my theme even to 980px.

Hello, activating block 10 from here worked for me:
Hello Lucian,
I’ve tried this but it didn’t help.
Kind regards
Google couldn’t really answer me though if it has no impact on google news. It would still make sense here in my eyes, for a couple of reasons. Anyway, their answer was “Leaving it the way it is won’t hurt you”.
Hey Lucian,
thanks for answering, this may be interesting for some users. I’ve meant individual shortcodes for each category, without creating new templates.
Keep up the great work, yours is the best theme on Envato.

Yes, I agree. I would love to pay TagDiv more for their great support.
Hello,
some themes support custom shortcodes on category pages (top and below) or a category header-picture (e.g. post stlye 3 could look great here), this may be easier to implement. In my case, I’m going to replace category pages by custom pages but it’s really complicated, yes.

Hello daicadung,
with no question: this would be a really great feature, to be able to customize categories, e.g. with Visual Composer, but I guess it’s too much work for TagDiv to implement it.
Several people have requested it in the past already but it seems it’s really complicated.
Best regards
Yes, it would be great if tagdiv would implement a feature like that to their share-buttons.
Hey Lucian,
I’ve sent you an E-Mail. There is no javascript showing up on my console.
Thanks
Ah, sadly, it doesn’t work for categories, it seems.
hey Lucian,
wow, thank you, I’ve been searching a long time for a plugin like that! I will inform if it works.
Hey,
having the same problem: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/you-cant-save-category-settings-in-the-theme-panel-anymore/
Hmm, after disabling all plugin this problem still seems to be present. Lucian, have you ever heard of something like this?
Thanks for your input, Chris. I’m normally uploading my theme via ftp. It’s weird because this problem started with 4.2. I will try to disable plugins even though I’m only using “big” plugins like W3Cache, WPSeo or Jetpack.
The problem occurs only at newly added categories. I still can change the setting at the older categories.
Anyone here using custom post types as well? Are you having problems with medium aligned pictures? Aligning doesn’t work anymore since the latest update. And there is an ad showing up at the bottom now.
Plus the font size and line spacing is different on pages and custom post types now (you can change only the page title font in the theme panel).
Yeah, would be great!
