Hi Digital2web,
The Big Grid is added by the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin (it can be installed from Newspaper → Plugins). If you do not already have it installed, we do not recommend installing it, as the plugin loads additional CSS and JavaScript files.
However, if the extra CSS and JS are not a concern for you, then you can go ahead and use it.

Hi,
For me, the results are still correct – https://i.imgur.com/EKwdEgk.png https://i.imgur.com/0LXaDLB.png Maybe you have some cache in your browser or something extra interfering, please check in incognito.

Hi,
Could you make 2 tests?
– check if this is working if the shortcode is set into a post (possible to work)
– make a test to see if is working if the shortcode is set with tagDiv Composer in a column text in text zone

Hello,
If you’re encountering an infinite loading screen after clicking Save Settings in the theme panel, the issue is likely related to admin-ajax.php. To diagnose the problem, please open your browser’s developer console and check for any error messages.
This behavior is commonly caused by admin-ajax.php being blocked by modSecurity, your hosting provider’s firewall, or certain security plugins or server modules.
Thank you

Hi,
Those situations are not theme related be here are some suggestions:
The one you mentioned is one of the best guides https://seotwix.com/blog/how-to-fix-issue-pages-dont-have-enough-text-within-the-title-tags/, and also check the Yoast guide for title tags https://yoast.com/help/my-seo-title-isnt-displayed-as-i-have-entered-it/

Hi,

This type of situation usually occurs when the Google Fonts option is disabled in the theme panel. Please make sure this option is enabled on your site and that no additional plugin is interfering with font loading. Some cache or optimization plugins disable Google Fonts for performance reasons. You can check this here: https://prnt.sc/o9JyrNM9HGrp
When the default fonts are enabled, the theme normally uses Open Sans and Roboto. However, if the browser you are using has a different default font configured, that font may be displayed instead.
How can theme fonts be used?
They can be applied globally through the theme panel settings, but only if no individual font settings are defined for specific elements. You can find a detailed guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Additionally, if you are using cloud templates, you will need to edit them with tagDiv Composer and check for any extra fonts in use. Elements that do not rely on the default fonts will be listed under Website Manager > Fonts:

Hi,
To display those results on a page, you need to use tagDiv Composer. Add a Flex Block (or even a Flex Block Builder). After setting the layout you want, configure it to display the custom post type you need; in your case, country-town and/or drinks-stays-eat.

Hi E K,
I think there’s been a bit of a misunderstanding here, so let me clarify the situation in simple terms.
This is not a code injection vulnerability in td_ajax.php. What the user reported is a case where fake users were being created, and they noticed that the registration process uses code from a specific line in a theme file. Up to this point, I believe everything is clear.
In the discussion, I explained that the theme already includes protection against fake registrations through Google reCAPTCHA, which can be enabled from the theme panel. This option was added specifically to protect the login and registration functionality from the theme. However, the user mentioned that they are using Cloudflare CAPTCHA instead and do not want to use Google reCAPTCHA. Because of this choice, the built-in theme solution cannot be applied in their case. The workaround they chose was to comment out a line of code, which stops the registration popup from creating new user accounts. This works for them, but it also changes how that functionality behaves (for example, if login is required for comments or if the popup is used elsewhere on the site).
So the situation is not that there is no solution, there is a solution, but it’s not the one the user wants to use. When someone chooses a different CAPTCHA system, a different approach is needed.
What I did was:
– clearly explain the existing solution provided by the theme
– acknowledge the user’s setup and limitations
– notify the developers that offering an alternative option could help other users in the same situation
From my perspective, this was handled correctly. If my straightforward writing style caused any confusion or gave the wrong impression, that certainly wasn’t my intention.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
I’ve just checked the search page, and I noticed that there are two loop elements on it. This could be related to the issue, because when more than one loop is used on a page, the settings can be inherited from the first loop.
Could you please test the page using only the Builder Loop and, if possible, only the theme plugins? I ran some tests on one of my installations, and it seems to work correctly on my end. Your settings also appear to be fine; however, the settings from the Loop Builder may not apply because the settings from the loop element above are being used for both.
If the problem persists even when using only the Builder Loop and only the theme plugins, we’ll need temporary wp-admin access to investigate further. In this case, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access there. Also, include the link to this topic so we can identify your request more quickly.
Thank you!

Hi Carmelo Nicolosi,

I see that the issue you’re mentioning involves a premium plugin. Unfortunately, this plugin has not been tested with our theme, so we’re not familiar with its behavior or expected functionality.

I’ve checked the page you provided, but it’s not clear what the issue is, as I don’t know how the plugin is supposed to work. While this is not covered by our support policy, I’m happy to take a quick look. For that, I’ll need more details and, if possible, an example of how the plugin should work.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
I understand 😊
Yes, WPBakery Page Builder can be used, just need to install it like a normal plugin. It’s included with the theme package and can be found at this path:
Newspaper-tf\code\other_plugins\js_composer.zip

Please note that if you disable the tagDiv Composer, the Newspaper theme will behave like a simple/default WordPress theme and will no longer provide the custom functionality you’re currently using.

Thank you!

Hi,
A license key can be used on a maximum of two domains. Normally, this is one production domain and one test domain. Using the license on a subdomain is considered the same as using it on a test domain, so this is acceptable.
Thank you!

Hi,
The “ Errors at columns elements: 11(models) : 12(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!

Hi,
The update includes an option to display the current category, but as far as I remember, it’s not exactly the option you’re looking for.
I’ll check this and let you know whether the solution mentioned above will still work. If it needs to be adjusted, I’ll do so and provide the updated solution here.
Thank you!

Hi,
The situation with teh gap is that until the cache is loaded on the browser, the website is loading from teh cache stored on the mobile browser.

The logo can be set on mobile using the tagDiv Composer and selecting the mobile viewport. You can set a logo using text, image, icon and SVG – https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

For the mobile menu, first make sure that you have a menu created https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/ after that https://imgur.com/hHCMMoT

Hi,
I can see that you’re experiencing the same issue on desktop as well https://i.imgur.com/448L9qe.pn
Please clear the cache first. If the problem persists, check whether the “Remove Unused CSS” option is enabled. If it is, disable it and then clear the cache again. After that, please check the results.

Hi,
I made a new notice to our developers; unfortunately, this is all I can do.

What I can do is some suggestions for some plugins that can help, there are cases that are not covered by the recaptcha and those plugins can help:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-verification/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-spam-remover/

I’m glad it helped 😀

Hi,
You need to do it from all logo elements, you have now logo on header, sticky header, mobile header, mobile sticky header and footer and one in the page used as popup https://i.imgur.com/Hb429Jh.png
