Yup, the same here, hopefully we would be able to disable this feature in the future.

Hi Anamaria,

Can you check with your developers team if it can be disabled? We don’t have unfortunately access to all Cloudflare accounts – but if with a switch, we could at least quickly stop the interest to this path /wp-json/tdw/save_css

Hi Anamaria!

No, we didn’t receive answers to all the questions, can you follow up please?

Is it possible to restrict access to /wp-json/tdw/save_css globally? Would such a restriction have any impact on the functioning of the websites? Alternatively, is there a method to entirely disable this part of the plugin? Maybe by adding a checkbox to disable it completely – especially that we are never using the Live CSS on any of our websites.

What is the purpose of /wp-json/tdw/save_css in general? Can you send more details?

Manually blocking these isn’t a viable solution, especially when IP addresses frequently change.

If we will block access to /wp-json/tdw/save_css would it affect the websites in any way?

Hello, thank you – works great!

Please also, make a general announcement, I am sure more people will experience the same problem after they update to WP 6.0

Same here, waiting for a quick fix – we can’t downgrade back to WP 6.0 either – since we already performed a lot of updates in this version of WordPress.

Hello Calin!

Is there a quick fix on the way?

Hello,

Same problem here, Column Text Editor is not working on any of the websites.

What plugin will clear them? We tested several, and none did it: WP Optimize for example and Advanced Database Cleaner.

How to clear it?

Hello Bettina, all sent and I added more test results. Thank you!

For example, if you add an Ad to any position, it stays there even if you delete it (stays in the database). Same happens if you import theme options (which is a great feature), historic settings are imported, cloud library settings and so on. All of it is causing that file to grow and grow – even if some settings are not used.

Threshold on many servers is 800kb for autoloaded data today, and because the theme is creating a big td_settings option inside the database, we cannot turn on various features that come with server settings, like for example object caching – a WPEngine hosting feature.

Colors in the test I did, are a reason for this great increase in size of td_settings, especially the accent color and the active main menu color.

Hello Calin,

The problem right now is that even if you click reset, it doesn’t reset the theme. Some fields continue to be filled with previous data. Can the reset really reset all the options?

Hello Bettina, so the cloud template is not autoloading? How does it work?

What are the settings that cause most increase in the td_settings? I’ve noticed changing menu color / hover color and the accent color – is causing a significant increase. Do you know of any other settings that might cause an increase?

Hello Vlad, what settings cause most changes – what can we keep at a default level in order to decrease it’s size? Give us some hints of what we should keep as default in the settings and what “costs” us more kb in that file.

Also can we set off the autoload setting for it in the database?

We took out all the php code from CSS Analyzer in order for it to work.

Unfortunately can’t do that, please see another way to test this set up on your end. It’s still live, you can see all the divs, everything.

.td-header-style-7 .td-header-sp-logo img {
width: auto;
}

This could be a fix

You can see a live test here of what it does: https://dev.earnware.com/

The header 7 is broken, can you fix it and let us know when you will release the fix?

This happened after the update, and what do logos have to do with thumbnail sizes?
