So that you know, 7.4 support for security updates will be stopped before the end of this year. So, basically, any time.
This should be not just consideration, but priority, because your product will be unsecure.
PHP 8.0 came out end of 2020!!! Almost 2 years ago!! What are testing for if not for this??? PHP 8.0 and especially 8.1 show considerable performance gain over 7.x
This should be your priority! Not speaking of the problems it caused me and probably many others getting the site down and playing around disabling/enabling all the plugins identifying the culprit and finding that it is the main plugin of my theme!!!
So this is your solution? Are you going to do anything to make it compatible with PHP 8.0 and 8.1?
And are you saying that deactivating it breaks the site, but uninstalling completely will make the site work properly?
edit: apparently, it wasn’t move from another of your themes. I used the theme panel to change to another demo and it broke everything.
How do I keep my content, media etc. but make sure the site gets populated by new demo including categories, looks?
Hi,
I have the same issue and have emailed it to you with the access.
It is a fresh install, don’t have this problem on Newsmag, have tried on chrome and firefox. It pretends that it loads and nothing happens.
Chris, thank you ) will have a look that way and report.
REgarding “Tennis in tennis” though, that is not on my site, that is on Tagdiv demo page in themeforest.net
Check out for yourself

Chris, thank you!
I appreciate you trying to help, regardless.
Thanks for the link too. It seems you have that problem, you just don’t see it as a problem )
For categories that don’t have sub, it just lists the remaining categories for you just below the menu.
Interestingly, Tagdiv does not have this bug with Newspaper. It just seem like they treat Newsmag as an orphan compared to Newspaper and I will do the switch (( Money wasted for the first one though 🙁
They even don’t bother numbering versions of Newsmag for changes, while Newspaper you know it is 7.3, for example. For Newsmag I have to refer “October version”.
And here is the screenshot from the navigation from your site to illustrate my point. Entertainment reviews and Political opinion should not show under Tech.

“Due to our National Day, between 30.11.2016 and 1.12.2016 we offer limited support. ”
It is end of 2.12.2016 in Europe and the support seems like never came back from their days off.
I have updated to the latest October version, don’t know if the issue was in the older one too or if it is new.
The fact is it should not be there, it is a bug and should be fixed. Of course, if they don’t, I will probably order customization or if this kind of bugs/bad coding happen often will just look for another theme.
Chris, would you mind sharing a screenshot of menu for a category with no sub when inside that category? And which version do you have?
Dear Chris,
I would kindly request that you leave the matter to the support as you have no clue what this ticket is about.
The screens not being up to date is minor issue compared to the fact that menu gets duplicated in case of category with no subs and looks very UNPROFESSIONAL, as no magazine or newspaper or self-respecting website would allow itself duplicate menu.
For the support. Please compare two screenshots. A) from Newsmag own demo by Tagdiv; b) from Guardian
Both are for a category that has no subcategories.

Chris, what are you talking about?
This is not WP basic menu setup, this is tagdiv setup within their theme control, where when you choose a category in the header menu that does not have subcategory, then it populates subcategory area with duplicate links instead of leaving it blank.
Click here and pay attention please before posting.

Here found good illustration in your demo

Because tennis category does not have subcats, your script just duplicates the same menu again under it with the same links!!! Meaningless and ugly!
Well, my question was about updating via wordpress admin in appearance – themes.
Now which one is revolution slider 5, as both of them says revslider.zip?
Catalln, I would appreciate if you actually read my question. It had very specific questions.
Is js-composer the same as wpbakery visual composer? Why not to make it clearer?
For revslider, your zip package includes two identically named revslider.zip files, which one is the correct one?
Instead you ignored very specific questions and gave as general answer as possible.
Chris, thank you for your concern. However, I had already read wp page and my question was very specific to what the theme does.
Andrel, thank you again for prompt response. However I would appreciate answers to specific questions above.
Can you still explain what is subtitle for? Basically you have 3 fields for the same thing: excerpt, description, subtitle.
And from what I tested, excerpt field, when filled manually, still did not show in the post.
Andrel, thanks
I basically need exact copy of posts into “blog_posts”. How can I see what has gone into posts as far as taxonomy and fields to be able to duplicate it into “blog_posts”?
The logic behind having it flexible:
It is very much dependent on what the site is. If you have a news website that has 50-100 news daily and people are used to read the latest, a news piece that is stuck on a prime location and is 7 days old is out of place.
Plus, a piece of news that is very popular in last couple of times will not get the exposure it deserves because it has to “compete” with views for last 6-7 days from less popular ones.
Andrei, you are welcome.
It would be good if the code or other solution would be included in your updates.
Andrel, thanks.
This issue is not unique to me and don’t think it is plugin driven either.
It is described in great detail here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/get-rid-of-that-admin-bar?replies=25
The simple workaround for now is described there:
“Just add the following line, somewhere into the functions.php file of your theme(s):
add_filter( 'show_admin_bar', '__return_false' );
And gone it is.”
I have no problem choosing styles. You did not get my question.
Do you know the WordPress logo? The W? Well my site gets an ADDITIONAL top top bar above your theme with that logo on it.
see screen
Bogdan, thank for very detailed post.
I understand and i appreciate you taking the time. Very professional response.
I did play around with polylang further. It seems that it is compatible, but there is a big learning curve on setting things up. Maybe a video guide would be helpful ) Maybe someone will contribute it )
I have few other issues, but will open separate topic.
thanks.
