Probably simpler to use an actual advertising module/plugin for the ad spaces, then create a simple function to “disable” that plugin for your staging install. That’s what I would do, anyway.
Or, if you just want to disable ALL Google AdSense ads on your dev setup; look to see if AdSense has their own hook/filter which could be “injected” via function/plugin on your local install into the header. Like some sort of “sandbox” mode to wrap the page, or header “ignore” element, etc., “disable adsense javascript” or whatever?

Best way is to simply hack style template 13 to use the default image size from featured image. You can find all the templates in the theme folder.
a) make sure you have the image sizes turned “on” in the theme panel to match all modules actually used
b) avoid using Jetpack and Photon and some other plugins which “double compress” images.
Might not be the issue, but usually can be 🙂
make sure you meet the system requirements for memory, time to run php, etc. — as most common issue there.
Most themes like this use the ‘featured’ image to generate the thumbnails on home page; this is standard method for modern WordPress themes. If you don’t have featured images, or are copying news from other sources, then you might need a plugin like Auto Post Thumbnail or similar to generate those for you.
You can simply make a new CSS class for a bulleted list then apply that to the list you want to style.
e.g.,
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7698764/custom-bullet-symbol-for-li-elements-in-ul-that-is-a-regular-character-and
https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_list.asp
If you make the changes in the right place, you will easily be able to see that in the ‘view source’ HTML code of the actual page; if not, then it’s not been changed in correct template.
Normally to use numbers in an ordered list, you would use normal html

<ul> Second </ul>

Well, you still need to search/replace every http/yoursite item in your post meta with https/yoursite, and check anything entered into theme panel boxes as http like logo, RSS feed, favicon, etc. — no plugin can fix any of that for you.
Plenty of tutorials online on how to do the big conversion of wordpress site from http to https 🙂

Probably need a filter added to the functions.php file on your local copy to ‘force’ the ads option ‘off’ in the theme panel. Not sure how that would be done, but I don’t work here. Might need to hire a programmer for custom developer work on something like that, since not a normal theme function.
Sorry. Just a comment, not a solution.
You can also test a post on your site with GTMetrix.com which will show you examples of HOW to fix things to optimize your site. My old old tutorial on the ‘best of tutorials’ section might be helpful too, but long read.
You will likely need to use an SMTP plugin with WordPress so that emails are sent by an “email account” on your domain, and not by php/wordpress which looks like spam since it’s not sent from an actual email account.
A proper SMTP plugin basically logs in to an email account on your domain, like newsletters@mysite.com with password, then it can send out emails from the WordPress system.
This is common and is often the most trouble with ecommerce systems as “first big problem” — luckily the SMTP plugins are out there on the wordpress.org repo to fix this. You might need to try couple of different ones to work best with your particular server.

Also remember you need to do search/replace in your mysql dbase for all instances of images inserted into posts which load via http, and updated any references to logo, icon, sidebar elements, etc. in the theme panel. Some folks forget to update the RSS feed link if entered manually, etc. 🙂
Possibly try disabling your android app?

It’s included in theme. However, it’s a ‘bundle’ version, so you cannot ‘activate support’ from WP-Bakery, or get updates from them. It gets updated when theme updated, only. You can ignore the register/activate nag notice.
You might need to use a more robust breadcrumb system like NAVXT
the author page is built in to WordPress…
you might need to use a custom function to entirely disable that.
See the WordPress.org ‘codex’ for help on hacking WP to do that.

Envato plugin doesn’t always work, due to your web server folder / owner permissions.
FTP is the ‘best way’ to do it properly. Worth learning, as you can also make backup at same time 🙂

You would need to use an advertising management module/plugin, which is far outside scope of the theme’s simple built-in ads module.
As with all themes that use custom fields for such data, you can simply edit the custom field per post.
Use the top right option on your post page to make the “custom fields” visible, and you’ll see the ‘views’ field, which you can edit per post; or add to when creating new post.

Hi
neither of those issues are theme related, but one trick you can try is setting the explicit URL for your website in the wp-config.php file.

This is a common error when changing themes, where Google can “see” the dev folder during changeovers.
Only way to avoid this in future, it’s only going to happen when updating theme, so you can ignore it — is to use a “maintenance mode” plugin; turn off Yoast or other sitemap app; then update any theme such as this one; then when done, turn the maintenance mode OFF.
This happens with all themes, and is nothing to worry about — just mark ‘fixed’ in your search console and move on.
Ideally, if there were a “top 25 FAQs” page here, that would be one of them 😉
Correct. I don’t work here, however it’s worth noting that TagDiv — and others here who help out from time to time as long time users — often need more info than “a plugin doesn’t work” hence my asking “which” one. There are thousands of third party plugins and NOT all of them work with current version of WordPress introduced in 2017. The plugin you mention hasn’t been updated in 8 months or more, and has numerous support forum problems on WordPress.org noted.
That plugin is not made by TagDiv so “demanding” support from anybody here and then complaining about not getting support, seems a bit unfair and childish.
But, sorry for trying to help. Good luck!
Per the changelog included with the current version of theme — not sure why @patwire thinks there isn’t one?
It’s usually in the changelog found in the ‘all files’ download.
Everybody might have gotten emails due to Themeforest having tech glitches for April 1; where Newspaper was temp removed from system, then put back in; this might have kicked out a “new version” email simply by virtue of the fact it was put back in to fix the glitches TF was having with files on Friday/Sat.
