Hi,
There are font options for the title and subtitle in the style tab
– http://prntscr.com/n0byxj
Note that you can configure one element as you want, then copy the style to another of the same type – http://prntscr.com/n0bznk – http://prntscr.com/n0bzqx
This way you only have to configure one title over image element, and copy the style to another one.
Thanks
Hi,
With cloud templates these are the only form of pagination currently for attachment pages
– http://prntscr.com/n0bw2k
Maybe button pagination as you mention will be added in the future. If you can provide some more details about how you would like it to be, I will add it as a request.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I know there are plans to add some settings to allow better management of the mobile version. At the moment there aren’t such settings.
From where exactly would you like to exclude categories? If it’s the latest articles section you could try this solution – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/latest-article-mobil-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
That is possible, pages can be edited with the tagDiv composer
– https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
Here is also a block settings guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
The content displayed in blocks and grids can be filtered and sorted according to your needs. Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately this seems harder than I thought, I tried a few things but they don’t seem to work. I will pass this topic along to the developer team and get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks
Hi,
We will try to add more settings and options, in 9.6.1 there are now cases to choose when you want the mobile theme for example – http://prntscr.com/n014aa
If you want us to take a look at the problems you area having, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and mention them in detail. Let us know.
Thanks
That page seems to not have any content in the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/n011gu
It is empty on mobile because of this. Please enter content for it, edit the page, scroll down and there should be a mobile editor section – http://prntscr.com/n012jr
Let me know if you need help or have more questions.
Hi,
@Aline For me the issue does not happen – https://www.screencast.com/t/MC3iOQJ5 I see you are using a predefined header template, the problem from above was happening when using a cloud header template. Nonetheless a solution will be found by us in that case.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
That is possible with flex blocks. These have settings for the image height
– http://prntscr.com/n00mmq
Check out some designs made by us with flex block
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
If you use the new update 9.6.1 there will be many more block designs to choose from
– http://prntscr.com/n00phq
Thanks
Hi,
Using a backup may also restore the malware. The website looks alright and working from what I can see at the moment. It looks same as before, at least in the frontend. What problems are you facing exactly?
Posts would only be affected if there are problems with the website database, that is where they are kept.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme does not have a page load icon, the website pages will load same as in this demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Maybe a plugin is adding it, or code entered in the theme files or theme panel, it is not coming from the theme. You could check if that is the case.
Thanks
Hi,
We will remove Google+ in a coming update. You can choose the sharing socials in the theme panel post sharing settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/ so uncheck Google+ and it will be removed.
Regarding the sharing of posts on socials, the theme will not ad the og data that is required – https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
– https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/
These can be added with a SEO plugin, which would be easier. From what I can see these required tags are not present for your posts at the moment.
Thanks
Hi,
Such an old PHP version will most likely cause problems, for example these are the requirements for WordPress – https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
So there will be problems using PHP that old, with most themes and WordPress. Your hosting provider should be able to update the PHP if you request it. Please try it and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
I use only the link to the video, not the embed code. Now that you mention it I tried to embed a video as well – http://prntscr.com/mzzk8r works the same for me
– http://prntscr.com/mzzkfs
Please mention how exactly you are doing it, also post a link to a test page where you embed the code in a column text if possible.
Regarding the ads you can place ad boxes – http://prntscr.com/mzzleh these can be placed anywhere the composer can be used. They are also available as widgets
– http://prntscr.com/mzzm0k
Let me know what exactly you want to do and I will help you.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme you mention was discontinued quite a while ago, it is not available to download officially anymore. Also it would be obsolete at this time.
Thanks
Hi,
Many things that work with one theme may not work with others, including plugins. Themes are not built or function the same way.
Sidebars and columns can be sticky but as a whole section, not parts of it or specific widgets. There were’t many requests for this functionality so it wasn’t considered.
So only the whole sidebar can be sticky, having only a sticky widget from that sidebar sticky would not be possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
They still do not work, all 300px sizes seem to not work. Smaller ads up to 300px width seem to work however. This will be further tested on our end, we will try to identify what has changed, since there was no problem before.
Hi,
I see something unusual on the website, the mobile theme and AMP is always loaded, even on desktop – http://prntscr.com/mzyml3
That should not happen, it should be loaded only on mobile. I have seen this before however, in those cases it was caused by caching (caching plugin or settings from it). Try to disable the cache plugin temporarily and check if this is solved.
Thanks
Hi,
At the moment that is not possible, it will not work. Maybe it will be in the future. As far as I know there were a few requests to make cloud templates compatible with custom post types, if this is requested more it will be considered.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe what you are looking for are the loop elements – http://prntscr.com/mzyejj
For example if a loop is placed in a cloud category template instead of a filtered block, you can apply that template for multiple categories, the loop will always display posts that belong to the currently viewed category.
This is the case with category grids as well – http://prntscr.com/mzyjbd
If I misunderstand please correct me.
Thanks
Hi,
So the homepage does not use the mobile theme plugin, but the rest of the website does? That shouldn’t happen, the mobile theme will apply to the whole website. I could take a look, please post a link to the website.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The link works – http://prntscr.com/mzxy3p but the page is empty. Please check if you entered content for the page in the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/mzxz4t if the mobile editor for those pages has no content, they will be empty on mobile when the mobile theme is active – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
2. I believe you men this text – http://prntscr.com/mzy4qr Seems there is no setting for it, unless you use a cloud post template – http://prntscr.com/mzy5cc
For the predefined post template I could give you a CSS code – http://prntscr.com/mzy63t
.comments .comment-subscription-form {
font-size: 16px;
}
You can enter it in the theme panel custom CSS section.
3. We are currently investigating why the ads do not come in the desired size. Seems all 300px sizes will serve random sizes ads. A solution would be to use on mobile sizes that are not 300px. Try to create ad codes of sub 300px width and check if they appear properly. Let me know if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
There will be a padding for the whole page, on mobile – http://prntscr.com/mzxo82
This could be removed but it will affect all the mobile pages and posts, also even then the video may not be edge to edge. There is no easy of doing this that I can think of at the moment, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Be sure to activate the setting in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/mzxgzu
Only then the mobile theme will apply on AMP.
In theme version 9.6.1 released today there were more cases added in the matter
– http://prntscr.com/mzxj4a
What exactly would you like to edit about the footer? The content is predefined but maybe it can be done by some means. Ad codes can be entered in the mobile theme section, if you use auto ads there is a section for it – http://prntscr.com/mzxjzx
– http://prntscr.com/mzxm0t
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
I can’t remember that working in older theme versions, maybe you have made modifications in order for it to work at the time. Something like this may work
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/rendering-shortcodes-in-the-manual-excerpt-field/
