Are you sure you added content for mobile in the mobile editor for the About page? Because right now its is empty from what I see. You have to edit the page with the wordpress editor and then add some content in the mobile editor.

The Newsmag theme doesn’t have the same capabilities as our Newspaper theme. With the Newspaper theme you could have created a popup and use it instead of the mobile menu, and in the popup you could have displayed anything you wanted. Newsmag however doesn’t have such options.

So if you want to use the mobile theme, the pages can be treated in 2 ways:

1. Add content for each page in the mobile editor. If you do not, the pages will be empty on mobile.

2. Exclude the pages you want from the mobile theme. The option is available in the Gutenberg editor.

Those are the only choices. But if there is a problem, or I am misunderstanding, please mention more details and I will help as much as I can.

I forgot to mention. If you want to exclude some pages from the mobile theme, there is a way.

When you edit a page with the Gutenberg editor there will be an option here https://prnt.sc/rnQYrlCstm3W This option is available for each page or post and if you want you can use it to exclude specific pages from the mobile theme.

But if you do not exclude the pages, then it will require entering content in the mobile editor, or else the pages will be empty on mobile.

Maybe it is. Should the slider appear on the whole website? Is the slider provided by a plugin? And if so, can it be displayed via a shortcode?

Depending on how you want it to be, you could simply add it inside the header ad spot, especially if it can be displayed using a shortcode. The header style you are using displays the header ad just below the header, for example https://prnt.sc/9SDN_QYLUnqS so if you add the slider in the header ad spot https://prnt.sc/Dr2JxCPx41GT then it will appear below the header.

But if the slider should not appear across the whole website, or if it cannot be displayed via a shortcode, then it will probably require modifying the header template file and adding it there, with the necessary conditions.

To explain why this is required, the main reason is that the mobile theme does not use or display composer page builder content. The pages can be built in a more simple way using the mobile editor, usually with text and images.

That’s already on the to do list, but unfortunately we haven’t added it for either of the themes. And I can’t provide a time estimate.

Maybe you could consider using a sharing plugin which has it? You could deactivate the theme sharing buttons and use a plugin instead. In terms of location I know that some plugins display the buttons on the side of the page automatically. Or if they can be displayed with a shortcode, it could be added in the post template. I will help with it, I’ll test a few plugins, no problem. Do you have specific requirements or you just want sharing buttons anywhere in the post page, with Bluesky included?

From what I see those are different websites. First you are checking on https://eliaq.sk/ and then on https://eliaq.com/ Is it a multisite? Normally if you are logged in as a super admin you should see the admin bar on all the websites that are part of the multisite, assuming you also have an admin account on all the websites. If you don’t see the admin bar on this website for example https://eliaq.com/ and you have an admin account for it, try logging in. Because as I see it from the screenshots, you are probably not logged into the second website, the admin bar is missing.

That’s quite unusual. It looks like the big grid doesn’t display correctly in either the homepage or the category pages, and probably the same in other places where its used.

I checked it a bit with the browser inspector, and the design for it seems to be in order, and yet the grid doesn’t look as it should. It could be fixed with some CSS. If possible I suggest building the website with the theme you want to use from the start. Because if you switch the themes, you will have to do it all over again. It will be like using a different theme.

But if its not possible, it will however be relatively easy to switch themes if you plan on using theme demos. For example you start with Newsmag, then at some point you switch to Newspaper and install a Newspaper demo. Customizing it will take some time, but not that long. The rest of the pages built with Newsmag may need adjustments, because while some blocks are compatible between themes, the others are not and will have to be replaced.

Bottom-line, it would be better/easier to start with Newspaper directly if this is the theme you plan to use on the website. This way you can avoid reworking the website after you switch themes.

While that may seem unusual, it is however working correctly. The modified date can be before the publish date if the post is scheduled. But I understand what you mean, and how having an option to control the modified date would he useful. I will add this on our list, but I can’t promise that will be added unfortunately.

I could provide a solution that you could use. It will make the modified date match the publish date, when scheduling posts. This is the code https://pastebin.com/8Vfp07wY and it can be entered in the theme functions file, or a child theme functions file, or loaded with a code plugin in the functions file. The code should make sure that the modified date matches the publish date. The modified date will continue to change if you actually modify the post after it was published.

You could test it for your next scheduled post. Add the code at the end of the theme functions file for now, just to test it. If it works correctly, and it should as I tested it as well, then a more permanent solution for loading it can be found, like a child theme or a plugin.
