Hi,
There should be no problems with the theme if you update wordpress. Please do it when you want to.
Thank you!
Hi,
I believe you are using Newspaper, not Newsmag. Even if you reinstall the theme, this should not cause problems however. Neither should adding new pages on the website. Something else must have caused the problem.
If you or the hosting have a website backup from before the issue happened, I suggest restoring it. Most hosting providers make regular backups for the websites, please contact them and ask them if they can restore a recent backup from before the date the issue happened. That would be the best choice in this case, because the website looks like it was reset and has no content from what I see. Please contact them and ask them about the backup system they provide and if a backup can be restored.
Let me know if they can help.
Thank you!
Hi,
That means there is something wrong. The Newsmag theme is a very simple theme, which should not consume many resources.
We will investigate the problem. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login, also access to cPanel or a similar server manager. We will try to find the cause of the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
We can take a look if there’s a problem. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login. Please also mention in the email what you would like to do. Then we will check as soon as possible.
Thank you!
On the left and right there will be margins, which is normal. But there should be no space in the middle like that. If you want to use a sidebar and there is a problem, please set the sidebar back so I can check as well. Currently I see no sidebar in the category page. Please let me know after you set it.
Thank you!
Hi,
The plugin responsible for the different layout is the mobile theme, please read carefully what the plugin does https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ The mobile theme does not display composer content or any content from the desktop pages. All pages will require content to be entered in the mobile editor. If no content is entered there, the pages will be empty on mobile.
Of course, if you want to use the responsive version and not have to use a mobile editor to add content to mobile pages, then you can deactivate the mobile theme. It is an optional plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
That’s the space for the sidebar. Maybe the sidebar you are using has no widgets inside it. You can check in the theme panel what sidebar is used https://prnt.sc/leSgeaSVPycH or remove the sidebar https://prnt.sc/M_cPlozX-61S
From what I se you removed the sidebar https://prnt.sc/P9sT-qnNKdbn To avoid issues like these https://prnt.sc/H_psJQ-2CnR7 you can change the number of posts displayed in the category page post loop here https://prnt.sc/JmoBSxSrjXRI Set it to 12 for example.
Thank you!
Hi,
Many themes and plugins can have vulnerabilities at some point unfortunately. Even plugins with millions of users.
We will most likely release an update with fixes for the vulnerabilities tomorrow.
Thank you!
Hi,
This situation is a bit unusual. If anything, the website should be much faster if the images are delivered from a fast external source. I’ve seen for example cases with the ewww image optimization plugin, which can deliver images from their CDN, and the performance was improved drastically. And I’ve seen other cases with other image CDNs being used, with great results. I’m referring to websites that were also using our theme.
Testing with the composer inactive isn’t that relevant, as the pages will just be a bunch of code with no or less images. The composer is the theme.
Using lazyload should help, there’s a difference from loading all the images at once, and just the ones that are actually in view. Right now I see no lazyload active on the website. And I see that at this time the images are not served externally anymore on the website.
The problem could be with the source of the images, or something related to the offload plugin. What if its something similar to this topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-offload-media-lite-causing-huge-number-of-db-queries/ Are all the images offloaded? Or if you check with the query monitor plugin, is there also a high number of queries from the plugin?
Thank you!
Hi,
There is an ad spot for the footer, you could use that https://prnt.sc/rbHjbKjWqOHe This requires having the footer active https://prnt.sc/dqdmiuuwwtax
If you want more ads in the footer, then you can place ad boxes in the footer sections here https://prnt.sc/KTaDOB7KaCH3
For the header there is one ad spot https://prnt.sc/uY74aTtppe5j Simply place the ad code there.
Please try it. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
Hi,
To clarify, the composer can be used for static pages only, the wordpress default blog page as shown here https://ibb.co/PG13VnzT will not have the option to use the composer.
Clicking on the logo will always direct to the website homepage.
If we can help with something on the website, then I suggests to send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and there you can provide a link to the website, admin login, and details about the problem or what you would like to do. This way we can help directly on the website. Let us know at any time.
Thank you!
Hi,
For Newspaper we already released an update with security improvements, and this week we will release one for Newsmag as well.
We collaborate with the Wordfence team to improve the security of the theme. Security is very important and we will release as many updates as it takes to make sure there are no vulnerabilities.
Thank you!
Hi,
Are you using Firefox perhaps? There is an issue with some fields/settings not appearing in the composer while using Firefox, please use a different browser if possible. We will fix this issue in the next theme update, we are very sorry for this inconvenience.
Thank you!
Hi,
Numbered pagination in the homepage can be added by selecting this page template https://prnt.sc/qPU10cU0DhP1 That template will add a post loop at the bottom of the page, with numbered pagination. From what I see at this time you are using the fault page template, please edit the page and set the page template with pagination instead. Please try it.
Thank you!
Hi,
From what I can tell the websites seem to display correctly now. Maybe it was a caching or optimization issue, these could cause design problems on websites. Or were other types of problems? If there are still problems that I’m not seeing, please let me know and I will try to help. I can investigate problems directly on the websites, you can send us an email at contact@tagtdiv.com and provide admin login.
Thank you!
As long as the result is how you want it, then it’s fine. But the post ID filters should work fine by itself. Assuming the post IDs are correct, the block should display those posts. In case there are further issues I suggest to send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, so we can take a look as well.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is pretty unusual.
First, installing woocommerce doesn’t cause the AMP plugin and our mobile theme to also be installed. These two plugins are optional and have no relation to woocommerce. And the plugins can’t just install themselves.
Second, even if the two plugins are installed, it should be possible to deactivate and delete them, as with any plugin. But if you tried to remove them without success, I will take a look at this as well. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (user and pass) for the website.
Thank you!
Hi,
I don’t quite understand what the problem is unfortunately. I’m checking the post you mentioned but so far I can’t see where the problem is exactly. Please mention a few mode details.
Thank you!
I think I know what’s going on. Are you using zoom in the browser? Does it maybe appear like so if you check https://prnt.sc/I2r90s204WVy By zooming out the mobile viewport doesn’t fit on the same line with the others and drops down below them. Please remove the zoom and it should display correctly. Please try it and let me know.
Thank you!
I checked but I did not find an email from you, not even in the spam. Not sure what happened but there is no email from you.
Please send it again, and include a link to this topic in the email -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-responsive-editing-tab-is-gone/
Please let me know after you send it again.
Thank you!
Hi,
According to those settings, if all the 3 posts belong to the Features category then they should appear in the block. If only one of them appears, then probably the other 2 do not belong to that specific category.
Try setting the category filter to all categories to see if all 3 posts appear https://prnt.sc/QVoKmBfKrH7z Leave the block like that if your desired posts are displayed then.
Thank you!
From what I see there is very little space there. Normally there is more space between the elements by default, but I see there is a negative margin on that row https://prnt.sc/k-zw4DIAQyFS I would say to set a bigger margin on mobile but since you cannot use the mobile viewport in the composer it can’t be done. That issue will have to be investigated first, to see why the mobile viewport doesn’t appear in the composer. I can check it as soon as you send us the email with the website login (user pass) and login URL if you use a custom one instead of wp-admin. Let me know.
Thank you!
I will take a look directly on your website, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, and the login URL if you use a custom one. Then I will check as soon as possible. On my end its working fine, maybe there is something wrong on your website specifically. Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
The key was assigned to other websites, one of them doesn’t exist anymore and the other uses a different theme. So I removed both of them and I assigned the key to this one https://globalflavorjourneys.com/ Please check as well.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to request a refund you can do it from here https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new Then we will check as soon as possible.
