Hi,

That seems to be an issue. Normally there should be options for the color like this https://i.imgur.com/i455vPH.png
But it seems that in the latest theme version those options do not appear. That is an issue. I have added it on our list for investigation. I believe it will be fixed very soon. For the time being I could provide some CSS to change the colors of the block titles if needed, or if it would be possible to wait until the issue is fixed, that is an option as well.

I am sorry for this inconvenience. Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

Google can detect all kinds of elements in the page as causing CLS. In some cases removing them or adjusting them is possible but in others maybe not so much.

The td-main-content-wrap would be the container around the whole content from a page, so obviously that or the content can’t be removed. Maybe something inside the content is causing CLS and Google says it is the container.

Could you provide a link to the website you are testing, so I can test it as well? I will try to help.

Thank you!

Hi,

If I may, how were those issues with the widgets fixed exactly? Was it an issue caused by the theme, or a conflict? We tested the theme with WordPress 5.8 quite for some time, we did not encounter such issues with the new WordPress widget system. There were a few minor issues that we identified and fixed, but nothing major.

Changes made in the theme panel and saved, will immediately be displayed in the website. There is nothing from the theme that delays a change once saved, to be displayed.

The only things that could delay or prevent them from being displayed, is caching.
Either browser caching (which is quite strong) in which case you should always do a force refresh to the page you are checking (should be Ctrl+Shift+R).

Or other caching, mostly from plugins, so please try and clear the cache to see if the change made in the theme panel is displayed then.

I will take a look as well if you have sent us an email, to the rest of the issue, as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

We could have taken a look at it, but if it is a local testing site we won’t be able to do that. There are things you could try, like testing with no other plugins active, reinstalling the theme and the theme plugins. At least to see if that solves the problem or not, to narrow it down. That looks like a very unusual issue from what I can see in the screenshots, the one with the big logo.

That admin bar which appears there, seems to contain just a login and a search. Are you using jetpack perhaps? Or does that appear if all plugins except theme plugins are deactivated and you check again?

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

That is impossible, they are displayed alphabetically, in an ascending order (A->Z)
I though that maybe you would like to change that order to be alphabetically descending (Z->A) That should be possible, but only if you want to. By date it isn’t possible, the categories don’t have a date to allow them to be sorted.

Please let me know if you have other questions.

Thank you!

Hi,

This happens in a specific situation, meaning when using an older theme version, before a few modifications that were made to the theme activation system were fully added in the theme.

If that issue happens, please reset and reactivate the theme and it will go away https://i.imgur.com/IzMcg0A.png
In case the problem remains or there is a different problem, we can take a look at it by email. So please send us an email as mentioned above as soon as possible.

We are sorry for this inconvenience, please contact us by email if needed, so we can sort this out as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

A multilingual website usually requires a translation plugin. Then it is possible to change the menu or in fact the whole header, based on the language.
Which translation plugin are you planning to use?

Or you are not planning to use a translation plugin and simply create content in different languages, and not actually translating it?

Please mention clearly how you want to create or translate the content. It all depends on that.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

The theme will display up to 2 category levels, like you mentioned here
Home – Category 1 – Primary Category – Post Title
If there are more categories, they will not be displayed unfortunately.

That is how it has always been in the theme, and it hasn’t been considered changing tis behavior as there have been no or very few requests from our uses to do so.

It will require modifications in the theme to perhaps display the whole category tree. Modifications that would have to be done by our developer team. They could try and modify the theme code on your website, if you are interested you can submit a request here https://tagdiv.com/web-development-services/

Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately I don’t quite understand what text you are changing, or what you would like to do exactly.

You mentioned that you are changing some text on the homepage, but the text should change in the whole website. Then you provided an image of a form. Based on this information I have no idea how I can help.

Please provide a link to the website, where the text appears. Then please mention the text you are referring to. That will be a start for further discussion. I will try to help once it is perfectly clear what you would like to do.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

We could take a look at this issue that is happening on your website. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, and also access to a server manager the hosting provides, such as cPanel or WHM or similar. We will begin an investigation, but how long it will take I can’t say unfortunately.

Thank you!

Hi,

There should be settings for the titles of theme block widget, for the color of the title it is like this https://i.imgur.com/WEmBlRD.png
The font for the titles is general, the setting is here https://i.imgur.com/4Da1u3d.png

Of course, using cloud templates there would be no need for widgets basically, and there will be more settings, in the composer. But if using cloud templates is not possible, let me know if I can help achieve what you want with the widgets one way or another. Maybe also provide a link to the website so I can see them.

Thank you!

Hi,

That is quite a drastic decrease in score, very unusual that it happened after updating the theme.

Have you maybe tried clearing the cache and maybe purging the CDN you are using? What about maybe testing with the CDN disabled if possible.

Browsing the website is quite fast, but the score is low. Also sometimes when I run the test, there is an error https://i.imgur.com/Bi02HqA.png Could be an issue with the test or maybe the website.

I see the test mentions some basic optimization should be made, nothing major happening on the website https://i.imgur.com/fvadim8.png

Are you using any optimization plugins at this time?

On mobile what were you using? The responsive version, mobile pages or the mobile theme? A good score can be achieved using either mobile pages, or the mobile theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

I believe we should discuss this again from the beginning. This is somewhat confusing unfortunately.

You mentioned grouped products https://i.imgur.com/atuR4dW.png
Which I believe means related products. Products can be related by categories and tags. The option to display related products by categories, or tags, or both of them, is available in a product block https://i.imgur.com/8REGIyM.png
If grouped does not mean related, what does that term mean exactly? What should the relation between product A, B and C be exactly?
Please mention some examples of a few more details about this, we will improve the shop plugin in the future and all suggestions will be helpful. Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

I see, so you do not want to display a featured image in the mobile theme, not in the post pages and not in the modules. Is this correct?

If you do not see the setting mentioned by my colleague, that means the standard pack plugin is active on your website. Which means that you must use the general settings from here instead https://i.imgur.com/1KOLWCv.png

Could you also please provide a link to the website? So I can look at this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-ZBymhpaBOB62cpWjiOlgXDVA6voP-t8/view

Let me know.

Hi,

I can’t say, I will have to make some tests. The best way to do it would be directly on a website where it is happening. I will need admin access to the website. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with the link to the website and admin login, and a link to this topic. I will take a look and try to help as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

That is not possible unfortunately. Infinite loading for posts works for normal posts only, and not for custom post types. At this time I can’t say if it can be one, or if it will be done at some point. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you!

Hi,

@Alastair Dixon I will try to help with this. The best way would be to send us an email, with the website and the login, so we can make some tests there. Let us know.

Hi,

I believe it should work. If you set a gif as featured for a post, it should be displayed in the post page and also in the blocks I think. Try doing it in a test post, then display the test post in a flex block. Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

That means there is a problem with the homepage. Or does it happen for other pages as well? I suggest sending us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and there please provide a link to the website and admin login, so we can check the problem and try to fix it as soon as possible. Let us know.

Thank you!

Hi,

The theme handles the ads quite simply. Enter the ad code, and the theme will load it. That would be all the theme does. For a more advanced ad management, you could try some plugins.

You could try the ad rotate plugin https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/

This plugin should work fine with our theme, I suggest making some tests with it. Or try other plugins as well. There should be plenty of ad management plugins.

Thank you!

Hi,

@ToHoBe So what are the remaining problems now? I believe you mentioned an issue in another topic, with the cloud templates. Do they work now? This is somewhat confusing.

The cloud footer template do not have the edit with composer option https://i.imgur.com/N8L7U1C.png
They can be edited from where they appear. So for example if you have a footer template set globally https://i.imgur.com/qHWbO1m.png then by editing the homepage for example, you can edit the footer https://i.imgur.com/vKps2Ms.png -> https://i.imgur.com/8EhVt77.png

So basically the footer templates are the exception, they are the only ones that cannot be edited directly with the composer. They can be edited from a page or another template where they are displayed.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

@ToHoBe So from what you mention, the cloud templates that the demo imported can be edited with the composer and they work, but the ones that you import cannot. Quite an unusual issue. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look at this, provide in the email a link to the respective website, admin login, also cPanel may be needed.

@Alastair Dixon What issue are you having exactly? Is it the issue described initially in the topic? I believe it would also be best to send us an email, so we can see the problem happening or understand what is happening exactly on the website. Then we will try to help sort it out.

Thank you!

Hi,

When you click on the link, in what browser does the link open exactly? If it opens with Chrome for example, then the website should look fine, Chrome is a supported browser.

It may display incorrectly if maybe it is set to open in the twitter app internal browser, I believe this is the setting https://ccm.net/faq/46727-open-twitter-links-with-your-mobile-browser
The internal twitter browser may not display the website correctly, not just the ones built with our theme but others as well.

Let me know.

Thank you!
