That related section that you mention is coming from the Jetpack plugin not from the theme. Maybe the plugin has the option to not display the date on the posts.

You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you if necessary, as they might have a recommended method in this matter.
Then deactivate all your other plugins and try to install the tagDiv composer again the normal way, or by FTP (unzip the tagDiv editor archive and upload it to the plugins folder in your wordpress folder – it should be wp-content->plugins – then activate it)

Check if it is set up like mentioned in the guide. If it is and the data is not refreshing or displaying any values, try clearing any caching installed.
Also make sure that your Facebook profile page is public, the counter will not work with private profiles.

The theme will display any valid ad code that is entered in the theme panel dedicated ad sections. Please check the ad code and verify it to be valid, or test it in a different spot and see if it is displayed properly. The demo does not interfere with the displaying of ads.

If you are not using the mobile theme, that the same content that you have on desktop, will be displayed on mobile. The theme will adapt to all the screen sizes, due to the responsive feature.

That should not happen, this modifications will only change it’s position and will not affect the ad code. Please make sure you are making the change exactly as mentioned, and do not modify anything else.
Also make sure you have an ad code entered in the Smart list style 6 section

Creating a new page template will not be an easy task. There is no theme option to allow an easy implementation of a new page template, at the moment. Even if you would manage to somehow create a new one, it may not work properly with the rest of the theme.
When something like this will be added it will work as intended, but I could not say when exactly this will happen.

You could try other plugins that have the options you are looking for. Maybe you will find one that works properly.

I would suggest that you deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme and clear any caching you might have installed. Then check if the errors are still present, and the sidebar is working as it should.
Usually plugins are to blame for these errors, some of them can interfere with the theme functionality.

Like I mentioned above, in future updates more elements and features will be added only for the tagDiv composer, not Visual composer. If you use tagDiv composer to build your pages, you will not have to rebuild them again at a later time. They will always be there and you can use them in your website.
The similarities are meant to help the transition between the two editors, once you start using tagDiv composer you will not have to build your pages again.

The version of Visual composer that is provided with the theme is always tested and works accordingly. It is specified that you should not update this plugin directly from the author, if you are not using the bundled version. When Visual compose receives an update we will make the proper tests, and include it in the theme bundle.
This will ensure full compatibility with the theme.
