Reverting back to 11.4.1 using the theme panel resolved the mobile menu issue. You’ll likely need to update/activate the dependent tag div plugins as well.

Same problem here. The page just appears to zoom in a little like a popup, but the mobile menu doesn’t load. Running backups now and will try to revert to 11.4.1.

Major problem on a site that is 70% mobile traffic with a 5-10k daily visitors.

We had the same issue a few weeks ago and after trying everything under the sun to troubleshoot it, we ended up just doing a complete site restore from a server backup. That brought it back to life, but now are reluctant to do any updates at all.

This might be the final straw for us with tagdiv. This theme has been nothing but one issue after another for us and has cost a ridiculous amount to deal with these problems. I’ve come to the conclusion that the TD Composer is just not a stable page builder.

Now our mobile menu stopped working.
I wish we didn’t use it, but it seemed like a good decision at the time. I’ll be redeveloping our Newspaper sites with Elementor Pro as soon as time allows.

Solved. Actually this same thing happened to us before and I was able to find my notes on that in the forum. Someone had accidentally edited/deleted the header and it saved a corrupt version of it with incomplete code. This jammed up any page using it.

Solution: Open the header template, view revisions, restore previous version.

A way to lock the headers would be very valuable. They are way to easy to accidentally edit while editing another page.

that’s a pretty standard request from a plugin or theme developer if you are asking for help. Just don’t post that info in a public post. Set up a temporary admin account that you can remove or disable when done.

How can we display the image caption on the TD Composer “Single Image” element. Would like to display the caption set for the image below the image, but I’m not finding any option to show/hide it.

WCDT- Try this. I’m making some progress on my end getting this back.
Go to your cloud template library and Open the cloud template header in regular Edit mode (not tagdiv composer).
Check your revisions and try restoring the previous one.

That brought things back for me and the tag div composer now opens. It’s beyond slow, but it opened and the header returned.

Exact same issue here. It was fine yesterday and today the header is gone. Unable to edit any page with the tagdiv composer.
We use 2 different header in Cloud templates. A transparent/overlay and a solid. One of them still works, so any page with the solid one still shows. The transparent/overlay one is gone. It still shows in the cloud templates list.

I’ve tried clearing cache. Disabling the cache pluging. Removed and reinstalled the tagdiv composer plugin.
Also disabled any other plugins that may be suspect.

Running on a dedicated with an extreme amount of resources.

This theme has been the most unstable, unreliable and PITA theme I have worked with in over 10 years. Nothing but headaches and issues.

I tried excluding all of those, but same problem.

I just spent the day trying to figure out the same issue and was unable to get it to work. Basically the main nav menu links were no long clickable and the drop downs didn’t work if Delay Javascript Execution is enabled in WP Rocket.
I tried excluding every js resource that was being loaded and still the main nav menu was broken.

Let me know if you figure it out. It would be great to be able to use this feature.

Ok, thanks for the response. That’s very unfortunate as we were about to launch a large site that heavily uses these elements throughout and discovered this while doing some optimization tests. We are going to have to go through the entire site redo all the images. I’d consider this a pretty significant issue/bug with the tagdiv composer. At least make users aware of this somehow.

This would be a much needed improvement. Either recognize and use the size image select from the wordpress image selector (thumbnail, medium, large, full, etc), or allow to select from one of tagdiv theme image sizes enabled.

Please put this on the priority improvement list. Once the site is handed over to the users they aren’t expected to have to precrop resize and compress every image before uploading and it’s going to be impossible to keep the site optimized.

Happened to me to. All tagdiv composer custom saved elements got wiped out. So did all theme settings. Mine wasn’t directly after the update. It happened a week or so after while working on it. I am running on a child theme too.

I just lost all theme panel settings while working on the site including fonts settings, cloud templates assignments, all sidebars are gone. Custom css is still there, but nothing that was customized in the theme panel is. Everything got reset somehow.
Also all Saved shortcodes in the tagdiv composer are gone.
I tried importing all the theme settings backups, but none restored them. Also removed and reinstalled TagDiv Standard Pack and TD Composer.
Many months of work gone.

Of course it’s the night before the site launch.

I’ve experienced this issue many times as well. It’s hit or miss. Sometimes the content loads and other times it’s just an empty text input box. It even has deleted the text that was previously entered.
It seems that it’s not fully loading or something.

TagDiv composer seems to have slowed down too. Running on a dedicated with tons of RAM & cpu.

Any idea on when this bug will be fixed? It can be fixed with CSS temporarily, but a permanent fix would be good. Regular UL’s in mega menus also get a forced “display:none;” in them.

Update: The 1/3 + 2/3 Layout is the only multi column layout that works with Block 14.

All others I’ve tried just show a full width stack.

Using TagDiv Composer.
Try what you did in the video, but make sure you save it and then view the front end of it. I can get it to look that way in the tagdiv composer, but the front end is messed up.

Cache cleared.

I’ve tried deactivating just about all of the plugins.
Switched to the parent newspaper theme.

Created New Page and tested it in different row configurations. The only one it will work in is a single column row.

I also tried this on a completely different newspaper site and got the exact same result. Block 14 will not in a multi-column layout.

I understand that’s how it should work, but my problem is that it is not doing that. It looks fine in the tagdiv composer view, but then after saving & viewing it goes to a full width stacked layout.

It works if block inserted into a 1 column row.

Will not work in a multi column row (such as a sidebar left with main content & block on right)or as a single column inner row.

This seems to be specifically that the List Menu elements will not load.
They load fine on the page itself that is being used for the Mega submenus, but will not load in the actual menu. No errors, just doesn’t load the menus.

Ok, Thanks. I did see that and what I set up. I guess I was hoping there was another way so we didn’t have to manage 2 menus.

Fixed.
Found that the tagDIV Composer was deactivated. Reactivated and it came back to life.
