Good to learn to use console inspector in Chrome, and also ‘view source’ option on your post page(s).
a) in Chrome, F12 allows you to see the content, and identify anything not loading https
b) in Chrome ‘view source’ allows you to *see* your HTML and ‘search’ for elements like any instance of ‘http’ to track down WHAT is not loading via https.
Often it’s an external plugin, or other issue. But tracking down WHAT it is specifically helps to determine what needs fixing. Often something super simple.
All my Newsmag sites run https with no issues, but I do know a couple of the early ‘demo’ setups had some background image or something that wasn’t https in the code.
Couple of tips:
a) make sure your site is explicitly entered in your wp-config.php file as https (see the wordpress.org codex docs on editing your wp-config.php file — also very good to know if running a WP site of any kind)
b) if you recently changed your site from http to https, you need to do search/replace via phpmyadmin to your mysql dbase after making backup, to search/replace all instances of http://yoursite to https://yoursite
c) consider adding an element to your htaccess file in your public root (depending on whether you have one there or not), which does a force redirect for any http request to https (often this can be setup on modern web servers, but GoDaddy probably not).

Worth to mention: I can’t use CF’s Rocket Loader. It messes up everything for me, including the pictures and the menus (you cannot click on search anymore, for example).
Most of the things you mentioned should already be implemented, but I am still miles away from reaching 60% in google speed

In real life it’s difficult to build user-oriented site witout CPT’s and CT’s, with Categories and Tags only. The world is slightly wider.
TD team provides nice support for CPT&CT in they Themes. I’ve installed the Types plugin, and CPT’s created by them was seamlessly integrated in Theme panel.
Left to do the next steps – Custom Taxonomy support in:
Block & Big Grid filters (admin pre-filters in TD-Builder)
Block headers (as Categories now)
Standart post settings (like in a CPT settings now)

we have a problem with the presenting of single images – maybe after the update to v8. Alle images are shown to big, there is no any more the caption (images without text) and the image link is not working – after a click on the image it is referring to itself. In the settings of newspaper everything is correct: add caption box is active, a link is added to the image…

Hi, I have posts in megamenu, but some post shows another category. I send an example in a screenshot. The articles in the image belong to category “Biological Sciences” and no to category “Areas” like is showing. Two of them however show the right category. “Areas” is the parent category of “Biological Sciences” and other subcategories, and do not have posts. I have reviewed the post looking for some relationship, and I do not know what it can be.

You see it too big, I would like it to be resized as in the article for example.

We can provide only technical support for our product and not such custom work. I can only provide some hints which can be useful for you to edit the post template 5, for example. You should edit the theme core file where the code is created and insert your rules. Hello, I’m using WP-Fastest-Cache as my cache plugin for many causes. But with the last update and replacement of composer plugin, I noticed something wrong. When the cache is on, images in blocks are not visible to vister. I sent an e-mail to author of cache plugin but I also wanted to inform you too.

If we are using tagdiv composer we are getting wider posts, and also the demos are not working properly. This made me loose trust on tag div in future updates…

If you have installed the latest plugin version, try to clear the browser cache (Example for Chrome – https://www.screencast.com/t/f9Q66lPx1fY) or use a different browser, then set the social counter.
If it still does not work for you, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Leave the social counter configured.

Hi,
Please note that is no rush to switch to the new composer. You just have to create a new page in the new front-end composer (recreate the same design or something different if you want) and then set this page as homepage. Like it is specified more elements will be added in future updates, just for the tagDiv composer. You should not use Visual composer and TagDiv composer at the same time, or edit pages created in Visual composer with the new editor.
You do not need to use the AMP plugin, the mobile theme is a mobile plugin that can be used by itself. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

I have 2 questions:
1. We created a child theme and a custom block using the child theme
and td-api-plugin in your example files. Is it possible to use this
new custom block in a widget in the child theme? How can we set it up?
2. In the child theme can we define new Custom Styles for the TinyMCE
editor? In the parent theme we managed to define, but when we moved
the definition (td_config.php) to the child theme, the custom styles
disappeared.

The solution I suggested hides the admin bar for all users except admin, like you wanted. You can disable it for admin in the user settings for example
