But by reset I meant deleting theme preferences and configs like categories layout for example. I believe that is stored in the db and what I wanted was to clean all this data because I am honestly lost in my own mess! So I figured I want to start fresh and keeping things more in the “default” side so updates get to be more easy and database more efficient… Anyway I will update soon and lets’ see what happens!

The Google bot find the smallest image file to index, your problem is related with speed, i test your article, have a very low score in Google speed test
You need to install a cache system, Goolge News sitemap, i have many website indexed in Google News, and its important to speed up your website.

Our theme does not have stats embedded, but this can be accomplished from your ad provider.
Depending on your AD provider, you should be able to keep stats like for example “clickthrough rate”

TagDiv i was using ur theme going 2 years now and can’t find much to complain about besides not having a music demo ..
You have bring out V6 and added 3 NEW demos Video,Health & Fitness,Travel..what about a music demo for people like us that run radio stations and music sites? we need one as well with a dark background,for me to come close to a music theme i have to use the video demo and use a lot of css code just to get it close to what i need it too be..
We also should have a choice to choose from a Light theme or a Dark theme like what a lot of other themes can do then using a bunch of Css Code just to get part of ur site dark…
check my site and see what i have done to ur video demo to come close to a music demo..music sites supposed to be dark backgrounds not light so i had to use a lot of css code to make this possible but still other parts of my site is still light background that i really don’t like….

Here is the example. Below is the way in which google has indexed a particular article: “Brace yourself for wasp invasion in September, garden centre warns”. The image is of marijauna but it should have been of a wasp.

I just upgraded to the last version of the theme, and suddenly it seems that my pictures takes forever to load?
Example:

When I enter the page, the site loads fast (Wpengine, CDN enabled) – but the pictures wait 3-4 seconds and then suddenly all the pictures appear at once.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I just purchased the Newspaper theme and I installed the Newspaper 6 demo into WordPress. Everythign with the install went fine, but when I go to view my site, the images on the home page different than the ones shown in all of the video tutorials. Also- the images on the big slider on the homepage have a grey overlay to them. For example, rather than seeing the face of the blond girl like the examples show, my homepage shows an image of a bridge. Please help!

You can make a similar smart list by selecting post template 7 and then selecting smart list 3 in the “smart list” tab in your post settings.
You start the post with a H3 heading then add your image below (I use 300×350) if I have a sidebar on the page then add your text below that, your next section of the post follows below that in the same format so your H3 heading for the next step in the article acts as your page break. If you follow? So it goes like this…

Your article text
H3 heading (page break for 2nd page)

You get the same effect but it does look a little cramped with a small image and not a lot of space for text if you have the sidebar active.
I can’t get my Google ads to show at the bottom of the post for some reason even though they are set to show in post and at the top and bottom of a post. Maybe you can add a large image to fill the top part of the container and then push the text and a square Google ad as shown in the link so it sits beside the text? I haven’t tried that yet.
This method used to be shown on the demo but doesn’t seem to be on there now, not sure why that is? Maybe it’s obsolete or had problems???????
I’ve just tried to disable the sidebar and this makes the post full width. You can do this by disabling the sidebar in the post settings by altering the sidebar position
I’m guessing if you use a larger image and change the style of the pagination then the only other thing you need is a way of adding a Google ad to this specific post type or adding one in the editor? Not sure how you do that as I’m new to ads but I’ll give it a try

You have misunderstood me. I want to show the author name who I will provide, not the “wordpress author name”. So does have any way for example to write the name in the post and then will be shown in the homepage.

The theme doesn’t have an option to remove date and author on articles from a specific category and you will need custom modifications to achieve that. For example you could try in_category() function like this:

For custom post type you have to create a template, you can use structure present in the post template 3. You have to check how the single and loop-single templates are built and start from there. For example single_template_3.php and loop-single-3.php and check the official documentation – https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types#Custom_Post_Type_Templates

The demo sidebars were created as a sample, unfortunately you cannot change their name but you can easily create your own sidebar as shown in the documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-and-widgets/
You can delete the demo one if you want and replace it with your own.

The titles you are talking about are actually the block titles. They can be edited for each page from the visual composer in page edit by clicking the little pencil icon for each block like the example below.

Hi,
I’ve several custom post types. I would like the “Post Settings” on each one and for it to show up on the custom post type front end.
I’ve figured out how to add the “Post Settings” to each custom post types editing page but I don’t know how to replicate the changes on the front.
For example – http://beta.virtualfestivals.com/event/glastonbury-festival-2002/ – this is a custom post type and is using “Style 3”. I copied single.php and renamed it as single-event.php. I realise I could have copied and renamed single_template_3.php but was hoping for a more flexible solution.
