I moved from Woo Canvas to Newsmag and still tweaking the above (not yet fully optimized for pagespeed for example or all block elements, or the footer, footer logo, etc.). I cannot replicate the issue you are referring to. (I am running monitor at 1920×1200 – with dual Apple 23-inch IPS Cinema Displays on my main workstation here …)

Thanks for looking into this. On this URL you can see on the right sidebar where I have 4 Tagdiv Ad Boxes in a column row (see image: http://screencast.com/t/8q6Atyj3 The first Ad Box is using the Theme Panel’s sidebar ad. The next 3 below are using custom_ad 1, custom_ad 2, and custom_ad 3 in sequence, but none of them are outputing the results.

I’ve included multiple examples of things that do not work with Newsmag. There are no problems with any other theme.

– Info blog – scaling doesn’t work; should be smaller and scalable/resizable
– Attributes – scaling doesn’t work; should be smaller and scalable/resizable
– Simple buttons – doesn’t work, they’re supposed to be small (there are more)
– Image 132×160 insertion – doesn’t work; any image size gets extended automatically
– This image below is supposed to be inserted as 53×75 size – it’s not, and I also cannot resize it – the theme won’t allow that.

Note that every time I’m inserting something, the theme automatically extends the original size to its fullest (theme content/body width size, I believe) and it also won’t allow me to edit the size.

You can actually make it pretty big unless you’re trying to do the version with the advertising next to it ….

I do mine fairly big, but it’s centered with no ads on either side.

Maybe you know how to show on archieve page two categories one after another? For example, I have category “News” and category “Publications”. Is it posible to show on archieve page list of articles from category “News” and under it list of articles from category “Publications”?

I use the responsive code on my sites. I think it says 2014 responsive version; and reminds me I need to double check if they have updated that.

Right … you need to follow my tutorial to edit the time setting.

The theme pulls the time from the WordPress panel. So, you have to edit the time setting to indlude the time plus date.

For those who want to set a custom time stamp under post titles, on post pages and in modules (it’s all or nothing unless you want to hack templates):

This fix survives theme updates as it’s a WordPress setting – not a theme setting.

Simply edit the time stamp on your WP admin > settings > general for the date time.

I posted a tutorial on this awhile back, but it’s not a sticky.

Not sure if this will fix anything but it’s worth a shot. Have you got the 80×60 thumbsize enabled in Block Settings > Thumbs on modules &amp; blocks? That size seems to be used by the gallery and is turned off by default. You’d have to regenerate thumbnails again after turning it on.
