When i share an article from my site, using the AWSOME Newsmag theme ;-), the preview of the article shows the included picture, but, when actually share it on Facebook, it comes up only with a not so cool logo of the site, out of focus as well….
How can i fix this?

I checked the topic related to your problem and this is different; you have a fatal error related to the amp settings + mobile theme for the slug. The situation in this topic was related to the notice that had been displayed on the website.

Checking the error log provided, it seems the situation is caused by the option for amp from the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin (I believe it is related to the slg selected for amp). What I recommend is to use FTP or cPanel and remove the td Mobile theme plugin. After that, the website should be back.

The Cloud Templates are stored in the database, but one important thing to ensure is that you are using the same theme plugins on both websites. If, on the second website (the one where you want to import a Cloud Template), you have all the same plugins as on the main one, having additional theme plugins is not a problem. However, if it’s the other way around, it’s possible that the template will not look the same.
If you only need the Cloud Templates and want to import everything related to them, the best solution is to use the WordPress Import/Export tool and export only the Cloud Templates.
For the copy-paste method, go to Newspaper > Cloud Templates on the main domain. For example, if you want to copy a header, edit it, hover over the three dots, and click Edit: https://i.imgur.com/FUHR4iN.png
Then copy all the content. Next, go to the new website, open Cloud Templates, and make sure you paste the content into the correct template type. You can either edit an existing template and replace its code with the copied one, or import a Cloud Template (even a blank one) and replace its code with the copied content.
Just make sure that if you copy a Cloud Header, you paste it into a Cloud Header template, and if it’s a Single template, you paste it into a Single template.

The Flex Block Builder is the correct element to use when you want to manually add taxonomy filters for your Custom Post Types. You can see an example here: https://i.imgur.com/C0reStv.png.
The Flex Loop Builder, on the other hand, works similarly to the Flex Loop and Posts Loop elements. When it’s used within Cloud Templates, it will automatically filter results based on the template context. For example:
– on a Category template, it will automatically filter by the current category.
– on an Author template, it will automatically display posts from the current author.

**Custom Theme Fields (Subtitle/Source) Not Detected by WP All Import/Export — How to Export/Import?**
Hello Newspaper Team,
I have been using the Newspaper theme for many years and have built multiple websites with it.
Recently, after a long break, I started a new project again using Newspaper and encountered an issue related to
bulk export/import of posts.
***Problem description***
When exporting and importing posts using popular WordPress plugins (such as WP All Export / WP All Import
and similar tools), the custom post fields provided by the Newspaper theme are not visible
in the export/import interface.
Specifically, fields such as:
- Subtitle
- Source (source URL)
- and other theme-specific post fields
do not appear as available custom fields for export or import. Because of this, it is impossible to correctly migrate
or bulk import content that relies on these fields.
I will attach screenshots to this post showing:
- the custom fields as they appear in the post editor
- and the fact that these fields are missing in export/import plugins

***My questions***
- Are these fields stored in a non-standard way (for example, outside of regular post meta)?

Hello, I have a few questions for this template.
I have my site behind a maintenance page, so I would only be able to link it if I provide credentials but my questions are as follows.
Also, I imported the prebuilt pages, but NOT the content.
1) On category pages, how do I get rid of the “Enjoying our content” section? I can get rid of the newsletter block, but the space and the background image remain and the template says “Empty Column.”
2) How/where is the image for the category defined? https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_influencer/category/marketing/ By images I mean the hands holding on this sample page.
3) If I wanted to customize the category template for specific categories how would I do that?
4) Is it possible to keep this thread open and I can update my solutions and further questions here?

Mobile theme and amp are limited; you can use only the theme panel options under mobile theme.

According to the developers at Wordfence, the warning message may still appear even when version 3.9.2 is installed. This happens because the plugin information includes the build timestamp:(Version: 3.9.2 | built on 22.10.2025 10:59)
This is not a problem, and the plugin is no longer vulnerable. The version number itself will be updated in the next theme update, which is expected to be released in January.

Hello, the login modal sanitizes the email field, so a user can’t register with a ‘plus’ in the address like user+something@email.com. (Plus addressing or Sub-addressing) This is not RFC 5322 compliant, so we either need to send users to the default WP form, or have it modified so it becomes compliant with standards.

They are scattered over file locations in /httpdocs/wpcontent/uploads/YYYY
I am looking for a widget that checks the images of non-existing newsarticles and remove them from these directories.
Example:
I have removed a blog article with image afblg.jpg as the main blog image
Newsletter created (depending on the template to be used) a scala of variations of this image:

I was wondering if it is possible to have a different header to the main site for all posts appearing under a specific category? For example, I have a category Cruise News, and I want this header to be different to posts under all the other categories. I have made the header different on different pages and hoping to do the same for categories. Is this possible?

Mobile theme and amp ar limited you can use only the theme panel options under mobile theme
Also, for pages you need to set the content in mobile editor manually, content that must be created using the mobile editor, not other builders, and not copy/paste the page content in mobile editor.
Related to cache, when you are not using the responsive version, then you need to use a separate cache for the mobile version; otherwise, the mobile version will be displayed on desktop and the desktop version on mobile.

I recently upgraded the Newsmag theme and tried to use AMP to run my mobile side, but it left all the formatting stripped and was serving only raw unformatted articles. I followed all the steps via guides but still no luck when I activate AMP. http://www.larecording.com (AMP off, mobile theme on)
